Thread: Jedi Testing for P9...

... For testing purposes, we are going to copy Test Center over to TC2 either this Friday (5/21) or next Monday (5/24).


For the last two weeks, we have been flagging anyone who logged in to Test Center (the flagging is now OFF). When we copy TC over, any character that has been flagged will be granted the status of Padawan on TC2. Again, this logging is OFF, so please do not create a new character and expect to be a Jedi (unless you already have one on Live...)


We have also encouraged any players with Jedi on Live to create characters on TC. They have until noon friday to do this. When we copy TC over, any character that has an existing Jedi on Live will be granted the status of Jedi Knight on TC2.


We will use SOE and Lucas QA to fill out the Upper Ranks of the Jedi. We are accelerating the turnover time for both voting (Light Side) and PvP (Dark Side) in the Jedi ranks to approximately once per day, so we expect to see alot of rapid movement there.


We will be providing a means to obtain the resources for Lightsaber creation, but initially we are going to want players to gather pearls and crystals by themselves.


We will provide several feedback threads so we can get your bugs turned around as rapidly as possible.


TC2 may be wiped at any time during the test, and will certainly be cleared at some time in the future.

Just G, you said in the jedi fourm to make it your jedi name or mains name. If i understood that correct. I have a problem. Both my main and jedi name are taken on TC. What should i do? My mains name is Apoy if you want to do the check. Sorry for posting this in 2 places ( Here and the jedi fourm) I just want you to see this. Thanks

Hey G, as you know I and a few others on TC have Jedi. Will Pub 9 be only going right to TC2, or will it hit TC 1 as well? I would also like to know if exsisting Jedi on TC will be granted Knight status as well, or just Padawan?

So when did I last log into TC I wonder...It will be close, but I think I missed that window since I have been grinding my main. Oh well, props to the peeps who have TC mains.

I am currently a Jedi.


I created a new character with my mains name about 3 days ago on TC. I'm expecting he will probably either login as padawan or knight.


I also am going to create a new chracter today with my jedi name. I bet he logs in as knight once moved to Tc2.


oh well we will just have to see. Let the crazyness begin haha.

Sounds great JustG


I am very excited to test the changes. Also I am very excited to see the new method of obtaining pearls and crystals, since that seems to be one of my top issues. I dont have a million dollar crafter and dont think we should be required to log onto our main characters to make insane money or change our template to hunt krayts.

I got a new job about a month ago, so I've had little time for my Live toon, let alone my TC toon. So, unfortunately, I won't be starting at Padawan.


Will the force sensitive quests be coming this publish or the one after? I'd love to test those out.

So either....


a) There are new means to find pearls and crystals without having to buy pearls or slaughter krayts on your own with your alt, or the Jedi


-or-


b) There aren't new means to find pearls and crystals, and SOE expects people on TC2 to spend the weeks testing slaughtering krayts.....

I have never created a character on TC because I heard qutie a while ago doing a TC installation played havoc with your primary installation in some way. I don't remember the specifics of it or anything.



Are there any problems with Test Ctr. installation now? If not then I take it I just hit Test Ctr. on the launchpad and it will start a new installation for TC?
