I just fealt a great disturbance in the force its as if 50 thousand voices cried out for blood, and just as quickly hit the cancel subscription Icon. I fear something terrrible has happened.

Even if I wanted to stay I must face the facts that you chased everyone off.

At times like this, I'm acually proud to say that I own an Xbox. Had a playstation, but it sucked big time.

shut the hell up and letsony do what they need to do. if you had all shut up and not whined about your respective professions over time to begin with, things would not be that out of whack to begin with. if you dont want to play, for the love of god leave. if your subscription is paid up through december, too bad...you arent happy, you plan on leaving, get it over with so the rest of the world can focus on the future and not hundreds and thousands of posts with nothing but whining, protesting, petitions, and just general trash. if you play on bloodfin, and took part in that little show in corellia the other day, i really wish sony would just get up and permaban you. disrupting service for others because you cant get what you want doesnt solve anything, and you idiots do that in corellia so often to begin with, it can hardly be considered a protest. "hell guys, we are pissed! lets protest this...lets do what we did 6 days ago in corellia!!!!"

Well, it seems you have played for awhile. In this case, I am utterly amazed at your blind following of a group of people who have continued to screw over their paying customers. Also, so you understand clearly, we are angry and voicing that anger because we want a good game to play. We enjoy the friends we have met online and DO NOT want to quit. Unfortunately, they are pushing us to the edge. If we were all like you, SOE would think that every decision they have made has been the right one when, in fact, it has been quite the opposite.

I for one am secretly (maybe not so secretly anymore) a supporter of moving the GCW and the Combat revamps to past the JTL. Here is why:
If you think about it, Space will tie in DIRECTLY with the GCW, and in order to do both of these (Space and the GCW) at the same time would be ridiculous. Why not get space out there, something that everyone is looking forward to, then when they do a GCW pass, they can make any changes that need to be made to space at that time, along with every ground component? Same thing goes with the combat balance. It seems a certainty that there will need to be space combat systems balanced in the months following the JTL.

And with EVERYONE now working on JTL, it seems they will at least be able to make their target release date, if not sooner.

let me post on another account to keep your brain from straying from the facts. the absolute fact of the matter is that if sony had never listened to people whining about how unfair combat was all along, then combat would NOT be so screwed up currently.

the very things you are doing here are the reasons that combat needs to be rebalanced to begin with.

Wow. This announcement is just mind blowing. I left the game in January with these promises and just returned to the game last weekend with the expectation the combat rebalance was right around the corner. How disappointing and frustrating. Leave a game broken to push out another product.

The only thing I can figure is that the devs or SOE believe that the survival of this game depends on getting the Space Expansion out to compete against EQ2 and WoW. Unfortunately, they should rethink this as people will continue to leave or jump ship when a game is broken.

Fix the F-ING game that we play now. Focus on the expansion later. **edit** are you thinking. Oh yeah, $$$$$$$.

Well after having spent 3 hours reading through all of the posts and gathered my thoughts all I really have to say is, why should we believe you JTL will be good? You've already lied to us on many occassions and dropping this bomb amidst an already chaotic time. Lets recap the events of the past few weeks shall we, starting with publish 9...

-Publish 9 hits live
-A few days after Publish 9 Jedi realize they have little to be afraid of and wander the streets of Coronet and Theed
-Jedi enter Knighthood, then realize Overt players are worth more to them than a Jedi
-Overt players beggining to be farmed for FRS Points. PvP Diehards cry for nerfs
-Overts begin to build excellent Jedi Tanking templates. Jedi cry for nerf
-Public outcry for a much needed Combat and GCW Revamps fill the boards, meanwhile GCW Boycott is rampant
-About a week passes, it comes to the communities attention the SWG Team is looking for a new QA Manager
-Even more time passes and no word is given on the new problems that have arisen in the PvP community with publish 9
-We find out Combat Medics and Warcry are going to be nerfed
-Publish 9.1 Comes out
-TH flat out tells us that the things wont change for atleast 6+ more months, but to "Hang On"
-The PvP Community suffers another hit as most Overt players cancel, meanwhile Jedi Knights everywhere are starting to show great starvation for FRS Points

People are absolutely pissed and we have reason. We're being ignored and ontop of that we're being lied to on a constant basis. Lets just say if Doom 3 (coming out shortly) and Half Life 2 (supposedly sometime in "Summer") entertain me Im just dropping my account, but will I have reason to come back for JTL? Lets take a look at the fall release schedual... EQ2, WoW, Halo 2, SW: Battlefront, and if Half Life 2 even has a fraction of its replayability through mods like the original did we will be playing it for a long time, so whats the incentive to come back to a game where the developers feed you lies month after month at 15 bucks a pop? Give us a break TH, make Publish 10 the Combat/GCW Revamp and push the Jedi thing past JTL...

JTL might be a great game but us vets have all been burned and burned bad - we know now that the "truths" you feed us always end up to be lies...
