TH please fix Bounty Hunters....(in Leia's Voice) "This is our most desperate hour"
Don't bother with the BH's.... I mastered it this weekend and then dumped it 2 min later when my next holo told me to go PikeMan
But I do agree that the jedi bounties REALLY need to be taken a look at.
TH
Can we please have someone from the dev team address the CTD and freezing issue that so many of us are facing and that are being reported on the tech forums in growing numbers.
On the tech forumsthe TSR's aredoing their jobs and collecting as much info as they can; speaking for myself I have probably submitted 500 crash logs since the problem started(as I'm sure many other people have too)....
but can we please get some sort of answer from someone on the dev team? possibly telling us what's going on? ETA for a fix? Ask us for more info? anything??!! Please??![]()
Here ya go Knocky, this "target nearest enemy" macro comes to you from Seiryuu:

Now about that kingdom, shall we split it down the middle, Seiryuu?
Thunderheart, something has to be done about the constant critical failures that are occuring during crafting for ALL crafting professions. It is getting out of hand and has become so intollerable that I have considered a cessation of crafting until it is fixed!
Not 20 minutes ago, while trying to make Adv surgical droid chassis, I suffered 2 assembly crit fails out of 4 attempts making adv droid brains, 3 crit failures on experimentation on those that I was able to complete, 1 out of 2 crit fails on assembly and 2 experimentation crit fails for adv frame units, and 1 out of 3 crit fail on assembly and 2 out of 4 on experimentation on the adv surgical chassis themselves.
I ama Master Artisan, Master Armorsmith and Master Droid Engineer using high quality components and resources and I am wasting my time on crafting. I even suffered 3 crit fails in a row on assembly of BH probe droids and they are nothing to craft!
Architects get a free pass on crit fails, everyone else should as well. In reality, you should remove the chance of critical failure until such a time as you find out why it is broken and get it fixed. You are driving people from the crafting profession because of all of the frustration currently involved with all of the critical failures!. I am sick and tired of wasting my time gathering the best resources, the best tools, and making factory runs of high quality components (whether or not it helps or hurts, I won't take chances) only to watch them disappear with critical failure after critical failure.
Its always about the combat, while crafters sit and suffer. We need a major revision of crafting, all crafting, not any particular profession. Crafting is broken and needs fixed just as bad, if not more so, than combat. When will you realize that there is a full 50% of this game that ISN'T combat?
I would like to see a square table discussion next week.
**edit** round tables.. I never know where to sit.
Firstly:
The vehicle dismount warpbug (which someone mentioned)and menu not appearing properly is now really starting to tick me off. It happens to me almost everytime and I have to backtrack up to 50m to get back to where I was.
Here's a good one for you: I heard a voice crying for helpfrom behind some boxes in jabba's palace. On in inspection I noticed that the whimpering was from a poor adventurer who had become stuck in place behind some of the contents in the palace after a dismount warp. He tried /eject and /unstick and neither worked. In desperation he asked me to incapacitate him and drag him which I did to save him from having to spend the rest of the day there.
Secondly (somewhat sarcastically)
Can you please make it so that people who have been playing the game for a very long time can just have the option (after a while) to create a force sensitive character as a reward for their patience and diligence. I have had to master very difiicult and tedious professions (as per the "evil voice" and otherwise) which takes forever and the fact that others have mastered just a few easy professions to get their character is just downright unfair.
Alternatively, pleasecreate an option to donate money to SOE at the login screento let us play Jedi characters, this way you will also eliminate the auctions of characters that we see around.
Alternatively, make a "rip off" server. Where we pay double(or multiple of yourchoice)the fee but everyone has the option to be a jedi.
Thanks
even If I do have fun playing SWG there are a few things that kills fun and gameplay let me call them SIN and here a small list of the most annoying ones.
I wont post here any SIN related to a specific profession but the Jedi, as there are forums profession oriented.
SIN :
1% decay on insured items : no way to prevent decay on any item, even rare and non renewable quests ones.
Death while logging : we are getting kicked a lot out of the game with the last 2 patches. Happends most of the time during combat. We log back dead, no more buff and inventory decayed.
Loot : group options does not work, no way to prevent ninja looters. Force us to play with friends and refuse most of the newcomers on big raids
Camps : mandatory to call mounts/vehicules and droids. Non novice scouts can't log out of camps or they'll have to run back.
Armors : only composite armor is good, the others ones are useless = No diversity. RIS is broken and needed components are mad to get. Armors decay both with usage and death. Shields, the only Wookie armor, are broken.
Faction Bases : persons with two accounts can have a rebel and an imperial char and see the vulnerability of bases. The vulnerability time should only be viewable by a the admin of the bases. The faction bases shouldn't cost such for high ranking non human.
Weapons : decay on usage is way too high. Specials moves kills us faster than mobs = weird!
Pets / mounts : BE don't have a full list of what they can do and what is an exploit = unfair for customers.
Pet should have a zoo to autoheal in all cities and vehicules should be stored or put in garages. Cantinas and hospitals are pet land. This cause too much lag.
Some specials sould be allowed on pet mounts.
Cities : advancement of cities are some way broken. No city walls nor concrete floor. There is no way to level very small rocks or hills to place structures on them.
Houses : storage capacity isn't related to slots taken. Tatooinian PA hall cost less slots than others ones.
Jedi : there is no way to group with a friend jedi to heal him as soon as he use the force. Reviving a jedi still take him one life. BH mark on Jedi does not vanish when the Jedi is killed. Jedi saber decay way too fast.
Holos : the holo grinding killed this game. For my experience it made my friends grind professions they don't like and most of them finised bored and quit. (so far I had lucky holos : TKA and Smuggler)
Satchels & bags : takes one slot in inventory, should not, helps us to organise all our stuff.
Colored items : sad we can't colorize them anymore. Premium auction is worthless and moving colorize to this won't help either.
Sructures maintenance : the time between the first email of decay and the structure vanish is way too short : 1 day and half. If we have real issues and can't log we lost all our stuff. (I lost a factory, 50 crates and tons of rare medical supplies cause of issues in real life
Suggestion : The structures should be placed in a temporary unusable state for 1 month since the last logon of the player.
Factions : players should get their standard uniform for free when they join their faction. Factional armor are worhtless, decay on death and cost too much.
Races : Wookies are unbalanced in combat, Zabraks can't wear whole composite unbuffed, dunno for others...
One positive point : the vehicules are awesome, ty for your job on this (actually dismounting freezes my game and make my cpu usage to 100%...)
1. Ability for architects to COLOR FURNITURE!!!!
2. We have "Potted Plant Type 1." How about Type 2 and 3 and 4 etc?
3. More tailor items, and more tailor scematics that require reinforced fiberplast panels and synth cloth.
4. New city building: Mall. It would be a 2 story building with rows of rooms players could set up shop in.

Good day TH.
A while back you said you would post some kind of a "State of the profession" of each career path once you would be done with top 5 and some other things. Anything coming about that? Or should be keep reading the proffesion board and try to guess what is coming.
Thanks
For the time being, Im cutting all the fat in my daily efforts, so Im working directly with the correspondents a lot. Please feel free to check the professions forums, but in terms of what's coming, Im trying to post it as much as possible. We'll have some patch notes In-Test this week, some In-Concept Items, some In-Dev items and as much else as I can dig up
What is the status on fixing BH droids?
In progress...

SUGGESTION: Why can't the devs make it so the Empire takes special orders from crafters for resources or items. Like have a tailor make 500 uniform boots for the Empire. They could pay per resource unit used. This could be a reward for accomplishing an Imperial NPC mission or for just being factionally aligned with the imperials.Artisans could make droid detectors, power conditioners etc. DE could make mouse droids.
The core objection is going to be "credit farming" and having a massive money fawcet, but Ill ask.
What type of reward amount would you suggest?
info on when the imperial crackdown is hitting test? second week of jan and nothing cept CoA III :/
also with the crafters making bulk items and turning them into npcs. dont make the rewards cash, because you cant control the flow properly enough since market prices can shift on a pin drop. instead make it reward you with factional perks, maybe faction points, or equipment(armor for an example, or uniforms) and for really high end or tough orders factional structures etc
1. Change the title of this thread to top 5 changes you want.
2. Loot item notification in groups.. PLEASE! I am just totally paranoid.
3. Zabrak imperial faction penalty.
4. Increase the range of rifleman. even a little would make me happy.
5. Whats with insurance on camps?!?!?!?!

Oh, and another thing...I don't want to hear anything about the Space Expansion until you have fixed what we already have. Adding a whole new set of bugs and breaks will not make this game more popular.
Blame management for that, not the dev team.
What's up with factory and usage XP? I don't know anyone, or any profession for whom this works.
It's been pointed out before that it looks very much like the point totals on crafting professions appear to have been balanced assuming that Factory and Usage XP were working. Since they don't work, it's encouraged people to macro grind because otherwise it's just a long hard road to follow. Particularly in not-very-sought-after professions like Tailor or Droid Engineer the players have worked out an "ideal path", but it's still not fun whatsoever because the social aspect, Usage XP, has been removed and the only "natural" grinding method, Factory XP, doesn't work.
I mastered Artisan by grinding Engineering up to where I could do Harvesters and then did Harvesters to fill out the whole rest of the profession tree. It took maybe 6 hours when I finally sat down and did it. It went faster than it probably should have, but any slower would have been torture. The only fun factor was in the experimentation but you don't get extra XP for producing more complex versions of a product and there wasn't any other way to get the XP.
