Devs, fix OUR game. Listen to what WE want and if you can't fix/add something, then learn howto.

Its ok if you have problems along the way, you don't HAVE to take our money each month you know

Alot of hype for a publish that hasn't changed anything yet.

-stomach does not clear on clone

-reports of bases going vulnerable at weird times (ie not when the timer says they will)

-turrets don't stop anything

-turrets aren't even attacking all the time

-the defensive cap didn't go far enough. Riflemen can be hit now by ranged, but fencers are still next to impossible to hit.

and to top it all off, I foughta player earlier today who was using last ditch and doing stun damage. I'm guessing it was a geo weapon. now that you've made riflemen hittable, players will just gravitate to this. Last Ditch is too much damage to do with a weapon that ignores armor. If the use of this gun becomes rampant, i'm gone. Way out of balance.

Hey, atleast you got the particle effect of the HAR right. Thanks. I don't know what i'd have done without that.

On BE pets, the damage range, to hit, and attack speed stats are not displayed. Babies tamed from the wild have all stats displayed correctly.

We are NOT getting new combat droids. Publish 8 brings more bug fixes and utility modules. The bug fixes in this patch are great btw. Overdue but great. The problem is that wallpaper and the droid armor nerf. Call a publish "droid invasion" and show wallpaper with cool new droids and the last thing players will think is that they are new mobs.

I find it amusing people are taking the name of the publish too literally and at the same time are complaining that it's too easy to misinterpret the wallpaper image. Let's simplify things:

- Droid Wallpaper: Do you see those droids following the player? No. Do you see any other players in the picture who we could assume to be commanding the droids? No. Is it obvious the droids are attacking the player? Yes. What can we (through painfully simple logic) conclude? That if the droids are not being controlled by a player, but yet attack players, they must be NPC's! Phew, that was tough to think through logically........ or maybe it wasn't.

- The Publish being name "Droid Invasion" doesn't mean that within 24 hours there will be hundreds of droids everywhere. The Droid Invasion is coming in two parts, and the second part is Publish 8 which brings the utility modules. The name "Droid Invasion" doesn't literally mean an invasion of droids in the sense that they're going to be everywhere like Locust. It means that a major part of the publish was related to droids and the Droid Engineer profession. Droid and DE fixes/additions have invaded the patch notes, but, again, that doesn't literally mean there will be hundreds of droids everywhere you turn.

- Get real people: Even if the publish name "Droid Invasion" had literally meant we'd see dozens around every corner, they're NOT just going to appear out of thin air! The DE's have to spend time with the changes in order to make some good droids, and then people have to actually go BUY the droids. You can't see droids everywhere until people go and spend their money on the little buckets of bolts. We're all very sorry that every single player didn't immediately rush out to buy a droid within the first 24 of the patch going Live. Next time we'll be sure to have you set some REALISTIC expectations.

- Armor nerf: Wait of the Combat Balance (nothing else needs to be said).

Several CSRs told me when I talked to them about the borgle bat cave that this patch would see a fix of that sickening camping spot (I camp also). This cave is totally unfair to the majority of people on server and goes against the NO camping idea of swg.

I think all the angry DE's are missing something very very very important and should ashamed themselves for getting upset for not getting the Droideka schematic.... if you go all the way to Master Droid Engineer you are rewarded with the " Binary Load Lifter=Advanced Model Now that is something work for

There is still that annoying vehicle teleportation bug where your character teleports upon dismounting from the vehicle.

I have a bad feeling about this nerf

Thats lag. They have to bring the servers down everyday for maintenance.. do you really think fixing a lag bug is at the top of any priority list. It is annoying.. but its very easy to store and bring the vehicle back out. I was also thinking if the SWG servers were put in a hospital and ran like the life support system application or something..... no one would go to that hospital

I just wanted to mention that the fix to "hold" the comments in your friends list - even after you switch servers and back - seems to be working just great.

a few things I thought were cool and some pointless/wasted dev time... I'll try and be constructive

first I'd like to say it's nice to see that the dev team finally appears to be settling into a steady rhythm, and I'm now prepared to believe we should see publish 8 about a month from now, instead of wondering if it'll be 6 weeks or 2 months. Communication has also gotten a lot better.

Crafting changes: the reasoning behind them was good, but the implementation wasn't. I'd like to see a crafting change that wouldn't give an overall reduction of quality, but that would balance the effect/importance of all the experimentable attributes. Currently things like filling in food, range/ham cost in weapons, and encumbrance in armor aren't anywhere near as useful as straight effectiveness/damage/power. Given the choice between reducing filling by one percent, or increasing effectiveness of a food by a relatively significant amount, effect always gets chosen.

lighting: cool, hopefully this will work as a decent source of renewable income for architects... we shall see

junk dealers: well, it's pretty much pointless really isn't it? Selling junk isn't worth the time it takes to find the dealer, even for new players. I was hoping to find one to sell geonosian relics to at a decent price, as well as things like lower end krayt segments that armorsmiths no longer are interested in buying

new mounts: Rocking

BH jedi mission fixes: horribly exploitable... griefers(which sadly represent a large percentage of the jedi hunting population) can group up together, have a few people camp the clone center, and so long as the BH with the mission doesn't do the deathblow, can kill a jedi over, and over and over. Triple incapping and other such "tricks" are also possible

Sliced weapon tag: at long last we got this... makes speculating over if a weapon is or isn't sliced a lot easier

vertical item movement: pretty good though some minor issues

haven't had time to check the other stuff

So, with all the nifty new move commands, I just had to put drinks all over the place in my cantina. Tables are just fine, yay! But I tried to put crates on the shelves behind the bar, and they get no more than halfway on before the "That is not a valid location" pops up. So, feh, no biggie, but then I try to put some of my vintage sunburns and plain old casks on the bar, and I get the same message when its nowhere near the actual bar top. This NEEDS to be fixed. Not game breaking or anything, but you'd think the devs would have thought ahead to something like this.
