One idea that my be really fun is pod racing. I loved star wars racer and it would be a great addition to the game as we could have artisans to create the pods, engineers could be mechanics or designers, and brave adventurers could be the racers. Races could be scheduled, require entry fee's and be a way to create some income. There could be venues for it on different planets. Non participants could go to the races and cheer for their friends.

I like the above idea, but one main problem exists... Not everyone is there for the mission terminals, and that would attract primarily nothing but combat classes to those remote towns. Sad but true, I doubt anything will really populate Deeja Peak (my favorite ghost town). But yes, that would help a bit.

Okay, so, these characters have the ability to build starships to travel the stars, bio-engineer animals by playing God with their DNA and even -- bring people back to life (I know, just kidding), yet..... They still haven't figured out how to make roads?

hey TH well i have posted about the much needed love that bounty hunters need and are continually failing to get


the profession is lacking everywhere i post and someone else shoots it down by saying that BH is fine..


and it always ends up they are something other then a bounty hunter


what i am asking of you is simple really... the people that are bounty hunters in this game have been posting for months


they feel like i do that we do not get any attention nor that you read the BH forum


i am asking you to please take the time out of one day to just scroll through the what would seem like endless pages


if you feel that nothing catches your eye or that we have not provided any valid points then go on with worrying about droids that blow up and harvest


at any rate take an hour or so to justlook over what we are saying


i am becoming very disheartened by the lack of attention we BH's get


yet we work so hard to gain the title (Master Bounty Hunter) but fail to be rewarded in skill for the hours and hours of work


not trying to knock any other professions but i could name atleast 7 that out power and out defense bounty hunters


when it is BH that is the most costly skill point wise....

A nice feature might be the ability to carry out a number of SWG tasks via a web browser rather than the full client.

I have a FFXI account and they have recently added a feature called "Friends List Plus". Basically you can log into your game acount via the web browser and see which of your friends are online/offline. Those friends that are online can have messages sent directly to them - in game.

While this in itself would be a nice feature for SWG, the concept could be taken further. Obviously anything that is graphically intense is out of the question, but how many players would like to monitor their SWG auctions, buy things from the Bazarre, manager their inventory or even craft things during their lunch break at work.

Hope this is a useful idea, keep up the good work.

This is not a complaint or a whine but an honest comment and question.


With the introduction of the razor knuckler IMO you have effectively removed any incentive for a player to pursue any other melee profession besides TKA.


TKA's now have it all. Good damage (with a dmg sliced knuckler I used to pull off 3K UH3 hits at the speed cap when I was a TKM), high speed (over 100), high accuracy (over 200) high defenses (second only to fencer) the highest toughness, meditation, the ability to target any HAM pool, a +250 damage mod that stacks with their VK's, armor piercing and now multiple damage types. They also enjoy the benefit of being the least buggy profession in all of the game. There are only 2 bugs with the entire TKA profession. COB doesn't work and unarmed combo 2 shows a damage of 1 in the combat spam. Those are literally all the bugs in the entire profession.


Limiting the profession to a single damage type was a much needed crux. Before many people considered TKA's to be overpowered and that will not change with the addition of this new knuckler.


The devs stated that keeping TKA's to kinetic damage only was necessary because of all their unique abilities (and the reason I left since kinetic only was too limiting for me).


That was my comment. Here are my questions.


1. How will you now enhance other professions to bring them up to the level of TKA to give incentive to players to pursue those professions?


2. Given your track record with fixes in this game will we see this change in less than six months?


3. Will you adjust Axkva Min's resistances such that a Pikeman and a TKA can at least damage her? As it stands now she drops the required loot drops for those professions special weapons and is 100% resistant to the native damage types of those 2 professions.

I think the Devs know what they are doing... Give it some thought. All high level MOBs inthe game have both high kinetic resistance and heat resistance.

In PvP good composite armor will have both good kinetic and heat resistances.

My guess is that the devs want to make it look like they are giving in and giving us another damage type, as if it will help us. Problem is that heat damage is just as bad as kinetic. If you don't belive me then head over to the Carbineer forum, theCarbineersare always complaining about the heat weapon they have.

To enhance the Star Warsy Feeling of the Decor, enables the architect to craft more Starwars Furnitures :


-BactaRoom : In our Guild Hall we do have a Room which is our medical room and we love to roleplay when one of us is seriously injured or disabled for some time, sadly, we cannot simulate a disabled person since there is no "/laydownon bed" common, and even if it were, your bads are all too small.

So let give us furnitures which can simulate a true medical room, like in The Empire Strike Back in Hoth Echo Base, including (but not limited to) :



  • Human Sized BactaTank, which can be fueled in and out visually (not necessarly with actual stimpack fluid but only for visual effect, maybe a hoovering effect to simulate anyone stepping in, like he is floating, with some bubbles textures as per the actual cloning factories)

  • Respiratory Mask, whether inside or outside the Tank, to simulate the afflicted person is under monitoring and respiratory assistance

  • Wall Coloring Area inside your house/Textures Skins, enable the owner of a house to choose from a certain color palette for each room to give it a special feeling (like White for Mediacl Room, Red for Crafting Forge, etc...), also it would be cool to choose some walls texturing like Bespin Patterns, Medical Pattern (with some electronics built in), Corellian Corvette Pattern, etc...

  • FX-7 Medical Droid, Ok we have 2-1B droid, now its time to include its partner : FX-7, i hope it will soon appears with his multiple arms and i hope its futire multiple medical modules as well


-War Room : We do need to simulate MORE the technology/warlike/hi-tech side of starwars Ambiance,lets include:



  • War Holotable : Like The Table of the Yavin HQ, The Death Star Holotable in A New Hope, Vader 's Personal Holoprojector with the emperor and Military Projectors in the SSD executor in The Empire Strike Back , and the Mon Calamari Cruiser Holotable in the Briefing before the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. It would be cool if those furnitures would have options like projetting some REAL holograms, whether as built in options or maybe as various modules declined according the components used.

  • Glass Panels and Screens:The vertical glass panels keeping tracks of troops displacement like in ECHO BASE in The Empire Strike Back , Yavin Room in A New Hope, they are already in game within HQ but it would be cool we could put them in our GH or Houses. Also Huge screens with some real pictures flickering in, like the screens used by Tarkin to watch the appraoch of Death Star on Yavin, or the Screens in the Throne Room in Return of the Jedi

  • More Data Terminals and Electronics textures/skins : I am fed up of my blank walls, i would be able to make a TRUE TECHNOLOGICAL ROOM : as in the Death Star, i would have the feeling i am entering in a metal-covered corridor with plenty of electronics apparatus beeping and flashing all around, alos use a light source like the verticals stripes panels used in the death Star, or have HUGE data terminals with the Death Star Docking Bay room (where solo and skywalker sneaked in and found leia's location) eg: the red and black big cupboards with a lot of screens and buttons. And:SCOMPLINK ACCESS, come on guys, how could have you forget about the HUGE asset of everyone astromech droid? a scomplink access could give off a lot of option when used by someone's R5, R3 or R2 droid, like more info on the structures/quest/owner/location of his owner, his professionand so on...or the owner would be able to leave behind a private message for anyone with the appropriate droid, or credit a bank account when used,etc...

  • Craftable Recordable/Datadiscks : We NEED some datadisk or items which can RELAY information in a big quantity, elsewhere than in the title when crafted : like datadisks, cartridge, Hard Drive, some could be recorded and rewrited ( erasable) and some would be permanent, depending of the crafter, then we would be able to carry message, create libraries, stories, poems, riddles, codes, maybe even waypoints or schematicswhich could be carried on or/and traded.

-Game Room : When will the following will be available?



  • Dejarik Holotables: The tables are already in game and it looks they can be used (sign 'use' when rolled over) but nothing is yet done as it seems : is it previewed in some future publish? What i WOULD LIKE : is REAL Dejarik complex rules with some REAL 3D designed holographic creatures (Houjix, Grimtassh, Molator, Mantellian Savriip,etc..) fighting and moving as in a New Hope, making a game inside the game. What i WOULD NOT like is a crappy lousy game like the jubilee wheel which is only a line of command text... i want to not let the wookie win..And i would LOVE those holotables be CRAFTABLE and put inside my house

  • Sabacc : Craftable and Playable with unique graphic, and also complex rules with real bets set by everyone at the beginning : like as in a collective secure trade : everyone bet anything : credits, items, schematics, data, ships, anything....and the winner take it all if he wins, once again a REAL game, not a jubilee wheel /lugjack junk please....


I Think that if we have all these we would be able to have much more Star Wars feeling like in the old movies....

Last night I was out running faction missions because I am working on maxing out my faction rank and several people asked me why. I know this has been discussed before, but I was thinking about ways that faction rank can become more important.


What if PC faction rank had a similar effect as NPC faction rank? What I mean is, NPC Warrant Officers are tougher than Sergeants and so on, so why can't PC faction rank do something similar?


What if there were defensive bonuses granted to faction combat for higher ranks. I know this can be a tough balance, so I have a couple of senarios:


At each rank level, a player gains a +1 ranged/melee defense bonus when fighting factioned missions only or


At every third rank, a player gets a +2 bonus to either ranged or melee. Ex: At sergeant +2 ranged...At Master Sergeant +2 Melee...etc or


A +5 ranged/Melee bonus at the NCO rank (Warrant Officer II) and another +5 at Colonel.


Note, these bonuses would only apply to Factioned Combat, just like alot of other thigs (no decay for instance)


Anyway, just a relatively easy idea for making rank more useful.

Three things that will make allof our lives MUCH easier:


1. Make the Ore Mining Unit Crate (Turbo-fluidic drilling pump does, as does EVERYTHING else)

2. Up resource stack max quantities to 1,000,000

3. Up ALL factory crates to the schematic max. of 1000


These three alone would save many countless thousands of item slots.


Also, 1 question.


How come torches burn FOREVER, yet my newfangled electric lamps burn out as if they were CANDLES?

guys i had a idea which could b alot of fun if u like this kinda thing, i though that in the revamp they could include in the underworld tree a skill which allowd us as smugglers to become double agents so we can sell info to each of the diffrent opposing factions, i know there is a lot of factions so i will use the main 2 fo my example, hey this could even b a mission type,


say you are a imperial smuggler and u take a smuggler mission(from a mission terminal or NPC), the mission was posted by a rebel comander or sumone, and it involves you stealing information or items from the empire and bringing them to a location specified and handing them over for a reward ( Faction Perks, faction points, cash, items, etc) . but if the empire caught you you would loose, fp, cash rank or something (compleatly random) of to redeem your self you steal some rebels info, items, etc so you wolud be workin as a double agent in effect as you wold be useing your imp status to aid the rebels but you would be using your rebel status to help the imps, or u could just steal items such as armor or fp or fac perks for ur self to use or sell. so it is involving alot of what the smuggler needs to survive, lies, deception, fast talkin, stealing, hacking computers (slicing) , but it could also mean that you are a for example an imperial colonel but a rebel warrant officer 1 so you could get into places u normally could not.let me know what you think guys it needs some work at the moment``so i will keep thinkin and i will post back,

This can't be said enough:


Make the Landspeeder a multi-person transport. No, you don't have to make the passenger able to shoot or anything like that, just make them able to drive along as a passenger.


This would make the Landspeeder useful (other than being the coolest vehicle in the game).
