no because you have to have Advertising 4 in the merchant tree. Anyone with advertising 3 doesnt really spam all that much since he is already advertised on the planet map. Another downfall is the batteries wear out in an hour. So basically anyone who is currently using their character AFK to spam either lacks the skills to use this droid or hates the fact that you have to go recharge its battery every hour.

I'd like to talk about what is NOT being addressed in this thread, and that is all the little things that have changed that were NOT on the Update list. Namely the damage now being inflicted by MOBS and NPCs. Since the update I have alsofound that my armor degrades at an almost alarming rate, 32k/39k to 17K/39k in 3 hours. Half of which I was actually hunting and killing.
As for the damage taken to my person and others like me; I currently where 85% composite armor and as a TKM can buff up, eat and drink and go out and take out Krayts and Geonosians. Granted that it's not a slaughter on my part, but as long as I time certain things and play it smart I can have a great time. Quite honestly, the challenge of taking on impossible mobs is what I love about this game. However, after loggin yesterday I found that I was taking some major damage. (4x what it was before, from all mobs encountered). I also found that in my combat log the much of the damage I took was never intercepted by my armor, no 85% redudction, not even a 1% reduction but the full on hit!
Now I know most of you reading will say "Poor little Krayt hunter can't solo...waaaa!" But this is not the case, I have been finding ways to take on huge mobs since day one and enjoy the challenge of it. What I experienced yesterday however was bad. I had absolutely no chance of survival vs. Krayts, or a couple of Kwis...whatever.
My point is that something has either been nerfed, bugged or whatever, and there are many out there who are experiencing the same thing.
Oop, I almost forgot. Multiple mobs and NPCs are inflicting multiple status effects at the same time, and the poisons and such are hitting much harder.
Is this another ploy to have us "adapt" and keep in the game? What gives??

^ (points up) and this somehow suprises you? Did you think a stealth nerf was beyond the moral integrity of the Devs? (insert laugh) No seriously. I feel your pain.. But its time to move on. All games have their time of death and this one is slipping into the cold recesses of oblivion as we speak. Just pick another game there are some good ones coming out. Would you rather spend $15 a month to try to find something interesting to do in a game that has pretty much run its course or send $15 a month to explore a brand new game with new concepts and new adventures? Good thing about the gaming community, there is always a new guy in town ready to amaze the gamers.. This game did for a while but sadly it does not now.

I know im not the only one to say those barker droids where the WORST EVER IDEA IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME. I play alot( but don't put enough input on forums i guess...) There is no way these droids will lower the spamming someone please explain to me how you think it will and i will tell you how they wont. I have no idea what you were thinking when you thought this would be a good idea, sure the (get waypoint to their shop is nice) but the fact that they can talk is just plain dumb. I know i am not alone in the fact that this needs to be changed. horrible idea. enough said.

The merchant barkingmodule is great, but it drains the battery in less than an hour (was parked near coronet starport) and then stops barking. Can we get this modified in one of the following ways?:
1. Continue barking even if battery is dead (droids will walk patrol points forever with dead batteries, so why is barking different?)
2. Allow us to put crates of batteries into the droid storage compartment and set the droid to auto-recharge when it needs a new battery.
3. Can we get notified of when a droid's battery is at 10%? This would be helpful for all droids, particularly the merchant module and buffing (medicine module) ones. I know we have the new meter when examining it, but we can't examine our droid if we have it parked for merchant barking somewhere, or when we are targeting a player for healing, buffing, etc.
Bug Report 1st!
Hotfix today seems to have killed the ability for droids to use their maintenace modules, you cant assign structures to droids anymore.

ok did you not see the new HAM's on the droids? that will change your tune...most of the modules work and help in some way, most DE's are happy....that in itself is amazing ![]()
from someone that has been a DE from august this patch is just amazing so much versatility and products target groups that DE's finally have a truly marketable product.Truth be told for many DE's this was to little to late, but for those that wanted soemthing more to keep them in it this is wonderful. But as the adage says "you cant make everybody happy all the time" ...TH lets get some commando/pistoleer/rifleman/carbineer/tk marketable modules next ![]()
Nice to know that people are able to find a spawn and loot Deathwatch Bunker armor pieces and other loot already.
Yay Devs.
Probably going to delete this one too like they have every other critical post about the Devs being idiots.
