Thread: Friday Feature Mounts Revealed
this should be cool...do they get a turbo?
and in answer to someones above comment...I saw a bantha in Coronet today. He was following me. Seemed quite happy and well adjusted. Probably happier than most, as he didn't have a crappy ole Tusken Raider on him.![]()
Why can't there be more than just those six creatures? If it's just a matter of seperate animations for each one, will we ever be able to ride the rest of the domesticated animals that are often used as mounts?
WHAT NO ROCK BEETLE??? WELL THATS JUST FANTASTIC,
IM CANCELLING MY ACCOUT TILL THERES A**edit** ROCK BEATLE MOUNT.
Just kidding had to be done
I guess it will work this way....
A CH can tame the pet for mounts and after that the pet is availble for non-ch's BUT the pet cant attack anymore.
Does it make sense? ![]()
I am more than happy with the news and anxiously await them.
So will mountain dewbacks be considered "Dewbacks" and subsequently useable as mounts...or will I have to track down and tame "regular" dewbacks? Or is this the kind of information you're not allowed to give out yet?
To the few idiots that say the Bantha is a one off model they really need to get out in the universe more. A freaking thrune is the same model just slighty modifed. So yes a Bantha and Thrune could both be ridable and SHOULD BE!!!
I wanna ride my ELEPHANT!!!!

It is quite clear looking at all our feedback sources that we need to balance/fix existing stuff AND add new stuff as well. We have a very large team and can work towards that.
So what are you doing for DE's ???????
Q-3PO wrote:For today's Friday Feature, there are screenshots of all six player mounts. All of these are scheduled to be available in the next monthly update.
The final list for this first release of mount is:
- Bol
- Dewback
- Kaadu
- Falumpaset
- Carrion Spat
- Brackaset
Have a great weekend everyone! Next week's Friday Feature will be geared to the social players (the Events Team will be writing at least one Friday Feature article a month).
(side note: I'll update the Current Issues post on the Announcements forum in a couple hours with the latest updates)
Are any of these tamable by a novice (i.e 0-0-0-0) creature handler?
