The advanced planets need garages, even if only one outpost each.

Having to travel to Corelaggia every time to repair a vehicle is a nightmare for people in a city on dantooine

i know this is an unpopular idea to some, but once all of the auto-store and poofing bugs are fixed, it would be cool if vehicles could only be stored and called at a garage or residence. This would add more immersion to the game and a greater sense of 'this is a real vehicle and i have to take care of my investment'. (and similar ideasfor creature pets and faction pets)

Apologies if this has been covered already.


Why not allow player cities to have city-based garages, rather than individual player-owned garages? This could be a nice precursor to, say, city-based docking bays for starships (or a docking bay complex where players "store" their ships, instead of in the datapad).

1 per advanced planet would be nice. Like the Imperial Outpost on Dantooine, the Smuggler Oupost on Endor, the Science Outpost on Dathomir, and Nym's Stronghold on Lok. It's a pain and too much a waste of time to have to wait on a shuttle to go get my vehicle repaired.

Also, if you didn't know, you don't even need Vehicle Garages to fix your vehicle. I hope you know what I'm talking about and I hope it gets fixed.

I would like to see on on Dantooine, Mining Outpost would be best, it has most traffic.


But aone of the current big garages wouldent fit very well there, but why dont you put a broken down landspeeder with a repair bots in a corner or something to illustrate a garage workshop.


Like the one placed outside Bestine.


Would be cool.

Beginner worlds: Every starport + 1/2 the pregen cities (as terrain allows, Bela Vistal on Corellia doesn't have a place for a garage.


Advanced Worlds: Every starport in a city (Imperial outpost on Dant doesn't count a s a city)


Adventure worlds... Not a one...

Every city that has a starport. It should be located next to said starport or even attached to it.

Lok would be a good spot by the shuttle/starport at Nym's for now at least!

1. Put garages on the /find list and the planetary map locations list. However many we end up with, we need to be able to find them the same way we do banks, cantinas, hospitals, etc.


2. Place one in each city that existed when the game went retail. Place at least one on each of the outpost planets (i.e. Dathomir, Yavin IV, Endor and Dantooine) at one or more of the outposts. If there's not one on Lok, put one there as well at Nym's, perhaps near the starport.


Thanks for the opportunity to have input on this issue.

why dont you use droids to repair vehicles?, you could make it so that if you have a droid with a "vehicle repair module" it would slowly repair your vehicle, you would need to camp but i belive this would help your garage problem as people out in the widerness etc Endor or Dath would be able to repair there vehicle enough so it dont explode !

As stated, I think the big issue is that current garages are not labeled on the maps.


I support higher priced facilities in the outlying areas (run by Jawas or whatever). Keep them rare, and use them as an alternative to garages on the more uncivilized worlds (i.e. Lok, Dathomir, and Endor).


Also, please consider adding a emergency repair kit schematic. Something that would allow field repairs of maybe 10% to keep the thing running just a little farther. You can make these single charge items so it would be impractical to use them instead of a garage, but useful as a "spare tire" to make it back to the city. You could tie this in to the Master Artisan box, or make it one of the (hopefully) upcoming utility droids. It stands to reason that if Han and Chewie were constantly making repairs to the falcon "on the fly," that some gearhead would be able to do soforplanet-based transport.

Faction outposts, such as the Imperial Outpost on Lok should have garages. Perhaps player owned Detachment HQs should as well.

first lets look at the planets...


first the more harsh worlds...Dathomir, Yavin, Endor, Dantoonie - the placement of garages should be at any military oupost (come on think about it in Rotj did you see flames or smoke coming out of those bikes)


the outer world...Talus, Rori, Lok - here you should place them of course in the cities, but again in the outpost areas as well. for example the imperial facility on lok would be nice.


the inner worlds...Tatoonie, Naboo, and Corellia - IN EVERY CITY period. these are the most populated worlds in the galaxy so i shouldnt have to drive to coronet from the island to get my bike fixed
