50 tamed webmaster

50 rancor tamed

a few other 40+ including a 46 be pet ..all doing the following

1 When i send them into combat they attack the mob and then just take off running.

1 When i send pet in the mob runs up and hits me at least ones even if i am 50m away when i send pet in to attack.

3 when i send pet in i get the combat sounds like i have been attacked...think this is related to 2nd bug above

4 pets are not following very good...u have to spam follow command to get them to move.

5 pet levs seem to keep going up....not sure if this is an intended nerf og ch....higher lev pets means we can pull out 2 or 3 stronger pets like u did with gsp....no matter i never use more than one pet.

One of my issues is and I know it seems to be a huge issue with most CH's there have been several threads as well as petitions.

Why is it that a Master CH can not examine a pet and get all of it's information.. Why is this just a Ranger skill - Isn't a CH especially a Master CH supposed to extensive creature knowledge. UM - I guess not. The only way I can even see what a pet level is - is to either go look it up on a website or to tame it and then destroy it.

My other issue..... Please get my pet off of me... Since the new publish - it stands right on top of me.

1. What are your issues?

2. What is the Pet description, specifically (type/level, etc)?

3. Was it a Bio engineered pet or a tamed pet?

Thanks for your input.

1) I had 3 bio-engineered Gurrecks that I had custom made. 1 was a level 19, 1 was level 18, and the third was level 27. They worked great together pre-patch.

Post-patch, when I tried to call the level 27 pet, I got a message telling me I had to either modify the stats or modify the pet's level. This pet has armor, so I didn't want to risk losing that, so I opted to modify level. Now it is level 39 and I can't have all 3 out anymore with 70 as max level.

I had a CL10 Bio-engineered kwi. When I tried to call it, the pop-up came up saying that its stats didn't match it's level and gave me the options to adjust the level oradjust the stats. I chose to adjust the stats so that I could keep the pet, but got an error message saying that the stats couldn't be adjusted. So I chose adjust level and it was changed to a CL 14 (which I can't use).

Hello TH, heres some info from Tivo (it rhymes, heh)

***1. Creature babies are still MIA: as you know from the mail I sent you and the thread/petition I made, there are still a large amount of creatures that are not spawning babies. From ALL the information I have collected since December 16th (patchday) ingame to everything on the CH forum, the following creatures are not spawning babies: frenzied graul, ancient graul, thune herd leader, seething bol crusher, fierce piket protector, slinking voritor hunter, horned voritor lizard, merek harvester, king merek harvester, queen merek harvester, blood-drenched merek king, arachne queen, mantigrue reaper, deranged mantigrue, bloodseeker mite queen, kliknik queen, shear mite queen, surefoot brackaset, rhoa kwi hunter, malkloc bull, bordoks, bols, gurks, snorbals, pharples, and the plains hunter. (and many more)

All of those I listed should be spawning babies and not a single one has been found since the December patch when they were all supposed to be fixed. I mean, if an arachne widow can spawn babies, why cant a surefoot brackaset or seething bol crusher? Obviously this is not about stats, but rather about finishing what was started. Maybe the spawn rate code was entered in wrong by mistake? Might wanna double-check that, because this issue is making people quit the profession and sometimes even the game.

2. Pets running away constantly during battle (and also following too closely: right on top of us)

3. Both

i know of one person on Bria that tamed a Great Plains Stalker about a week before the publish6 patch...

What does that have to do with Tivo's post, apart from an attempt to obfuscate the baby spawning issue? The great plains stalker isn't even mentioned, and Tivo himselfhas a GPS so knows full well it spawns babies.

I have had a different problem happen to me twice:

I engineered the usual lvl 10 pet (4.8k ham and kinetic=10) and then my customer couldnt tame it. Says he's got to many pets in datapad but he's got none.

Both times it has happened with the angler skin.

Im not sure but it could also have something to do with experimentation failures. I do a failure and then experiment on the same stat again to get it back up to what it was beofre the fail.

A CH can tame it though...

I have made at least 30 pets with the exact same recipe and only 2 anglers have had the problem...

I assume these problems are unique to live and did not manifest themselves during the extensive testing and QA?

Can someone tell me is it the DEVS intention to remove the CH profession?

I was 1 box away from being a MCH.

Now all my pets keep trying to move tooptimum range which makes the MOB move in and the pet try to get to optimum range again. It looks like the pet is running away.

Also the pets autostore constantly this used to happen to me only rarely.

I can no longer use any of my pets.

Is this intentional? Do "the powers that be" no longer want the CH profession in the game?

Think I'll dump my CH skills and become a chef. At least I'll be in a profession that the devs pay attention to. And at this point I'd be a more effective fighter as a chef then a CHM anyways..

Love that pet battle dance they do now.. Attack... Runaway.. Follow... Attack... Runaway.. Follow... ect.....

I won't mention the stuff that is already mentioned, about the standing on me and specials and stuff. But, I will mention one new thing. Range attack on pets is all screwed up now. Not only the range attack command, which has NEVER worked since it was added in, but now the actuall attacks as well. From my experience, any flying pet will never, ever use a range attack now, even if it has one (Tested with a Spineflap Handmaiden and a Greater Gulginaw). When commanded to attack, they will run up and start physical, never firing along the way. Even against lairs, which any pet with range will always use range on, they run and attack melee, which tells me that the range isn't working. On any ground pet, it will only use its range attack within 15m instead of the 30m that it used to be pre-Publish6. That pretty much makes range attack useless, because since every pet goes forward every time they use range attack, and once within 10m they will switch to melee attacking, they won't be range attacking for long at all. Maybe 2 attacks if you are lucky, which makes it hard to use the fragile pets I use as simple range support. I hope this can be fixed, and get the range command fixed too, that way I don't have to use a pseudo-range command to get the pets to fight ranged (basically, get a melee pet to attack first, and then order the other pet to attack, if they aren't being targetted by the enemy they won't run up until within 10m).

I know TH is porably done reading thi thread at this point but I'll just toss in that NPC targets always run as far as the can go untill the pet auto stores or stop chasing them. I can't use my pets vs any Storm Troopers or any other type NPC.

Creatures running from my pet only happens on certin pets, like the ones that fly, or the large ones. As it is I can use none of my pets that fly or are large.
