Thread: Desired Rewards
Much better treasure. It's a joke atm. What self-respecting pirate would bury a stone knife and a broken vid screen and guard them with his life? How about something believeable like rare gems? Or a crate of muon gold? Or a valuable painting/statue ? Or say just plain 5k credits ... that wouldn't upset the economy ... it's not as if there are hordes of treasure chests buried all over the place.
I would also like to see unique titles given out that would be always selectable once attained. For example, running NPC quests, epic or no, in the sands of Tatooine where the Ancient Krayt Dragons roam would yield a title like "Master Dragon-Fighter" for surviving so long in that inhospitable climate among the most feared creatures in the galaxy.
Keep your "uber-loot". I like things that are artifacts or display pieces, such as the Krayt Dragon Skull, which quest still needs to be fixed BTW, or Tusken Robe. Like someone else said here, it makes you feel like you're getting a part of the SW universe we love to play in.
Finally, make sure to include a better description of the items, whatever they may be, when they are examined by players after they are attained. I have a couple of the droid pieces from the Kitster missions, or whatever his name is, and nowhere do they say made by Anakin even though that's what the NPC tells you. By including accurate and detailed, interesting descriptions, the reward piece will be that much more interesting.
Truly, finally; perhaps some inclusion of a "log" or "journal" that is selectable from the cntrl + p screen where your quests and dungeons and missions are logged so you can look back on your adventures, something similar to the badges screen. You could also let the player type in his own account of the ordeal in a style similar to the character bio, which is painfully short of adequate space to write something really detailed, BTW.
Some ideas; run with them, no charge.
Legandary Items, ENOUGH SAId, not many but atleast put the cat out of the bags about which ones they are are where we can find them but make them insande drops like 1 out of 30,000 ![]()
How about Money ?
I ran all of the emporer's retreat missions and was slightly dissappointed in it. I have enough wood staffs already. I was proud to have worked for Vader and the Emporer, but nobody would ever know it. The money was non existant ( except for Vader ) and the FP's were a bit dissappointing. A story badge would be nice as well. It took away from the awe of working for the emporer getting tiny trinkets.

Loot components yes thats it! also uber schematics for uber items that will keep crafters in game and make mandalorean uber cos it really is uber armor (check and compare statistics in starwars rpg) make that craftable too as a quest reward schematic
other thing is items that no one can craft like mftas addition for helmet visors (multifrequency target aquisition system) that gives you accuracy bonuses sorry not for melee tho =P it has a range req and it actually negates minuses from target moving... this is just one example of an item that wont compete with the crafters items hell make armorsmiths attach it to a helmet
some wearables and trophies you can put in your house ... I want cloaks you can wear over armor since thats starwarsy! =P hehe I want hoods too different kinds of face masks too (ninja mask that leaves your hair visible and has some possible ornaments too and the old fashioned ones too lol) its really just a matter of using imagination then getting to work even simple things that affect the appearance of your character matter a lot to us players tailors could get a patterning thingy to add texture patterns on clothing (make every piece of clothing camo for example)

Some rewards I'd like to see but on the condition that certain quests could only be run once to obtain the really cool rewards.
1. Faction Points - Especially for those who need to work off negative points after seeing the error of their ways.
2. Credits - Decent amounts.
3. Cool Schematics
4. Cool pets or droids that would need to be trained or programed by a CH/DE before being usable.
5. Resources - Artisans would love that.
6. Useless trophy items - Form over Function!
7. One time use vehicles or mounts - They disappear...
Just a few ideas
i would settle for a working game.... you know, one with all the missions working, the rewards actually paying you, the item rewards actually appearing in your inventory... then we can worry about what new loot to clog the arteries with.
flame throwers light thier targets on fire... ever been electrocuted? shouldnt the LLC specail have a stun? after all, let me take a tazer to your backsides and tell me your not stunned :/
now, if those words have no value to you....
lets see .... you cant take away things from the crafters so loot thats useful is out of the question, lets see more artwork (and the command to hang stuff on our walls) how about house mods that would let us heal like a camp or med center at home (i dont mean using meds i mean just sitting there and healing wounds over time. houses are pretty much either stores or museums now as it is.
i dont like the schematic idea. the loot i get shouldnt be to make another crafter more money... it should be for me dang it!!
maybe you could add housing to the lot pool. likeafter wipeing out a enemy camp there could be some chance of finding a house with a resemblence to that camp. i personally wouldnt mind having a home that looked like a kung camp, or mook, or maybe one of those fenced in camps where the living quarters are actually underground.
its hard to come up with more concidering the lack of current content in the game, the current bug state of most higher end missions for NPCs and the all around same as the jones have mentality. maybe you could relax off the current kick of balanceing the game to remove all indaviduality and let us be who we are and aspire to be... that im sure would be the best loot of all.

...one time use schematics for various items would be cool. I had this idea for BH proffession...which could be applied to all professions. I will use MBH only as anexample:
Create an epic type mission scenario, which allows onlya Master in the given proffession to undertake, but requires the involvement of several other proffessions.
Mandalorian Armor
Start: series of missions(only MBH can undertake )which will result in a non-tradeable schematic for a single piece of the armor
Require involvement of DE, AS, and BE. (MBH buys components at rediculous prices from the DE, BE, and AS)
- You need to aquire a unique item(craftable/attainable only by a "Master" ofthe given proffession)From each of these proffessions( DE, AS, and BE) .The MBHThen manufacturesthe pieceof armor.
- MBH makes it in generic crafting station with his/her own schematic
- Make it non-tradeable,best in game, proffession unique.
Each proffession could recieve...
just hypothetical ideas)
Pistoleer, Carboneer, Sword spec's, polearm, rifleman- unique weapon(pistol, carbine, sword...etc)with best stats in game, or...
- a component that dramatically increasesweapon skills(two handedweapon use)
Commando- Rocket launcherwith mass area damage(ie...300dmg upto 20 people in area, but slow speed), or
- Commando explosivedroid...does mass area damage(repeatable once a day)
Smuggler- Identity Kit allows for disguising self as opposing faction
- elite slicing kit..increases bonuses to specific slicing
Squad Leader- field base kit without heal/crafting abilities...but has turrets or at-st...must begrouped to employ
Bounty Hunter- Mandalorian armor, highest resists and lowest ham.
TKA- Special robes (attchment), allows to add range to melee attacks(ie...can meditate to throw punches and kicks)
- robes or attchmentwhich allowsabsorbing of HAM from opponent. life-drain...
CH- Specific pet that beats all others (choice of pet skin...same stats)
Ranger- Trap allows foreffecting entire nestwhen used
- or, all terrain cammo kit
- or, field base kit with turrets....
- or, ability to temp train wild creature....use a pet like a Ch for a limited time (like a ranger charm ability)...cannot store to data pad.
