Thread: Desired Rewards
The first thing that pops in my head is some sort of epic quest for MORE SKILL POINTS!
Although skill enhancing attachments have always enthralled me,and I really like the idea of schematics.I also would not mind being able to quest for factional perks such as stormtroopers and such.Oh and more credits would be nice,seeing as how I did a quest to kill some droideka and only got 50credits and 10 faction.(IMHO a mission involving killing droideka should pay at least 2k not 50credits).

I started doing the Jabba missions to gain access to him. I was dismayed to receivea stone knife for the first mission.... I had to kill a red agro tusken???? And I get a stone knife??? In the 12 missions I did, only the grenades I received might cover the costs of maybe 1 or 2 of the stim packs I used... it no where near covers the cost of wear on my FWG5. (Which are running around 12000 - 20000 credits at this point in time)
Try this.. mission 1 = 200 credits
mission 2 = 300 credits
mission 3 = 400
......
mission 12 = 4000
and up we go.
faction pets that doesn't perma die EXPECIALLY AT ST since 9400 fp down the drain are far too many to lose. and for the suggestion I suggest a nice little thing.... HOUSE DECORATIONS!!!! like paintings you know grunda paintings no? they can be seen in ALOT of houses

I've seen many people talking about skill enhancing, armor and weapons. This is great but isnt what people are looking for ( or what im looking for).
Being a UO player for some years I've seen come out those skill enhancer who kill the fact of being master something. Found it to kill the spirit of the game. People start to camp the type of (monster) who give those enhancer and for got about everything else.
What we need is collectable item that will be remove to be replace with a new one collectable. This way the market for ancien item will be amazing in a couple of month (years).
Take the exemple on ultima. They add some monster statuettes, piece of hanging on the wall armor ...
They need to be rare and plz dont make them spawn everytime at the same place. It could be put on a random spawn. Some stuff could spawn 1 time per week as well as some spawn 1 time each 6 hours. For 2-3 month then they stop spawn for some time.
All i found boring is to dont have anything to collect. What is the goal ? Getting badge ? Opening a FS Slot ?
Or is it an adventure game (adventure = finding collectable stuff).
Otherwise I give nothing more than a couple of month of play to have seen everything in this game.
And please dont help camper to get all those new stuff

1) Schematics for things that you normally couldn't get (or part of a schematic), say an advanced type of armor that isn't normally available, different quests could offer different body parts, or advanced versions of guns/weapons giving them a slight boost over the normal schematic
2) High End resourses, materials, (ore, hide, whatever) that crafters could use to make REALLY high quality items
If you want to make sure crafters get something out of it, then just let them use the rewards to make 'higher end' stuff.
..I want a special clothing part, maybe even a staff just for looks so I could just show that've done it. Maybe have every quest give you a part of some special clothing and if you complete them all you get one nice **edit** outfit ya know>
i see no reason to necessarily consider crafters other than not having drops of anything that would put them out of business. also, try not to make any drops that will get over-camped. I like these ideas:
- Unique Trophies of any type (especially useable items that aren't affected by stats, but are cool to display.)
- How about attatchments that change the graphic of your weapon/clothing.armor/etc. Example: Wookie scalp braids, or a cape. The colors could be random. Bayonets, or scopes. Make them transferrable, not one time use only. Symbols to add to your helmet or other gear.
- Helmets! Rocketpacks! Wrist Rockets! Grappling hooks. Underwater breathers that enable you to go underwater in certain areas. Masks. Star Wars gear!
- the unrepairable item with limited use is one of the best ideas i've read here to satisfy uber loot freaks.
- Schematics are ok. Especially class specific. a good enough idea to at least have a few quests available.
- Race specific is also a great idea. Trandoshan hand and foot armor, and Wookie armor would be cool even it it wasn't super powerful.
- New titles and skill points are also great ideas.
- Access to new faction gear and pets.
- Maps that lead to more quests that aren't static. Like after you do the first quest, you are given options of other quests that will lead to variable loot and more star wars fantasy. example: you meet up with several famous bounty hunters and can choose which one to follow/group withas they all are given the same mark to find and kill.
- Make available missions to find unknown planets. Make the new planet smaller maybe, but still include content and unique cretaures/npc's, etc.
- Anything that makes for a good story, fits in to the star wars universe, is fun to do, and makes you proud to accomplish with some sort of prrof to the world that you are special.
Just my ideas.
