It seems these enhancements were done with no regard to solo groups. Solo groups only became popular relatively recently so I assume the devs aren't aware of them yet. So let me list what new problems these changes made for solo groups.
1. With everyone spread out some player's names aren't listed and the if the group leader changes the list won't update it.
2. Without a majority of the group near a single mission the wp to the closest mission changes literally every 5 seconds, if you deactivate it, it comes right back.
3. It's understood in solo groups that the mission money isn't shared, but now a griefer can follow the arrows and steal people's mission money by being near them when they kill the lair.
4. As a low level jedi, I like solo groups because I get extra creatures at my mission lairs. I don't have force throw yet so I'd rather do missions then find wild lairs. But since I usually don't know the people I'm grouping with, I'm paranoid an imp will remember that I'm a jedi and use the arrows to easily find me while I hunt. There should at least be an option not to include an arrow for you.
For those of you predicting the end of solo groups, even with the upcoming supernerf it will still be preferable to hunt alone when you're after quick xp or easy cash. You might have to fight easier things then before but it will still be faster then group fighting. I only picture people grouping when they want high level loot. Now don't misunderstand me, I would like the solo groups to stop also, all they have to do is let us decide what the mission difficulty should be when we take missions instead of this silly way of basing it on the combat skills in the whole group. One way or another we're going to take the missions we want, stop making us jump through hoops.
Solo groups are not a type of gameplay I believe the devs want to encourage.

Why aren't the devs that posted this responding at all??
Because the new things are bugged, just like so many existing things already.
They don't respond about existing bugs, like a few mentioned above, why would they respond to NEW ones?
Give it a couple months, by then there should bethe token "We're aware there are issues....looking into it..."response. Just like forthe non-paying-missions bug continuing for the last several months...

We added two enhancements to groups in this morning's hotfix:
Groups
- When in a group, a waypoint to the nearest group mission is displayed. The nearest mission is the mission closest to the most people in the group.
- Group member status bars will continue to report position information, even if the player is on the other side of the world. If the group member is on another planet, the planet name is displayed in the status bar.
Have you been able to take advantage of these items yet? What have been your experiences?
Group members' direction and distance is greyed out and often fails to update for me. Group members don't physically load into my field of view very quickly. They often appear only when right next to me, althoughI can frequently see them coming by arrow and direction in the group information.
Group member name is not displayed if they are off world, just the planet name. (Should show both)
Group mission waypoints ALWAYS respawn when you approach. I haven't seen one be correct for over a month now. With the closest group-wp thing, this leads to frustration. When one member of the group is out of range, gone LD, or wandered off, the whole group tromps over to the group wp, only to find no mission. Then we can't see the next one until we get the player out there to update it. Group should be able to cycle to the next closest wp, or wp should update for the group, not just the mission holder.
