+200 is next to pointless. I bought fishak because it could save me in a mind pool emergency. If it can get to +500 or +1000 and last.5 hours, now you're talking.


If doctors can give me six +3000 buffs and most importantly if there are players out there dishing out head shots for over 1000 points the chef HAM mods wouldn't even help me survive one extra hit.


Finally, as far as skill buffs go, do chef bonuses increase the maximum stat bonus up from the current +25? If not, then again they are pointless.


Seems like a nice update in theory, but the implementation may leave something to be desired. I have a really hard time findinga decent chef as it is. If it becomes harder to make quantities of food, the buff 'down time' is greater AND the stat bonus is less, I'll probably quit even trying to find any food to buy.

Just had a thought while playing last night -- it would be nice if Chefs could make some items with special effects like "Orange Juice"-- this would provide the immediate benefit of a weak Cure Disease (pack A probably) and would fill up the stomach as well.


No, no, no - don't you know it is Chicken Soup that cures all diseases?
