Mr. Blackman,

I am curious about this expansion. You have given the press no release date yet and you say it will be coming out this year. I am anticipating this expansion very much. After seeing the convention video with a small sneak peak of the expansion, I am totally amazed at the graphics this will have in space. I was just hoping that maybe you would update expansion part of the site and/or give us a date on the expansion.

It seems to me so very sad that all these people, whether positive or negative in their posts, care enough about this game to continue to plead for fulfillment of what was promised to them months ago.

It strikes me that even though they are fairly sure only the consumers are ever going to bother reading these posts - the gamemeans enough to them (myself included), even when so obviously dis-heartened by it, that they author so many cries in the dark for it to be saved.

If anyone at SWG does read this, please understand that these people aren't in here posting because they consider it fun. However they are in here posting because they don't consider the game fun, or at least not as fun as it should be.

My guess - many of them (myself included)aren't leaving the game just yet because they seem to care about it.

My next guess - many of them (myself included)may leave the gamebecause you don't seem to care about or acknowledge them.

Mylast guess - many of them ( myself included)are "looking into it".

I'm not sure where to write this and well, this is why it's here!

I have a list of social interactions that I would like to see added to the game. Most of them could be easy to do. I just feel that there is not enough out there to make people interact together. Sure sitting at the bar is ok and just talking..But I would like to see more then just that. ok..here are my list of ideas that I think would help make this a better game..

1. Poker Tables - Players can bet cash or objects(at market price) againest each other.

2. Player Loans - This is great for the business man..Give a loan out set a payment rate and everytime a player does a mission it gets taken out..Or unless u can pay in full..

3. Local Planet Newspaper - Players can create a newspaper and write what every and sell it at the local vendors. This is a great thing to buy to find the hotest towns..Cold people online or even local business ads.

4. Games - Pool Tables, Pinball, things like that.. just for fun and skill if u could work it in..

5. Lotto Tickets.... Each day u can buy a local city ticket and the next day see if u won!! Money is everything.

6. Gym Equipment - I've not see anything like this that I know of .. but it would be cool to go workout at a place sometimes and not have to go out and fight for your XP points..

7. Fighting Ring - Some players love to fight and why not.. We should have some type of ring that a player can enter and fight for money..or even have other players bet on a winner.. The fights take home cash and so do others..

these are just some of my ideas.. thats all...!!!

FIX THE GAME FIRST

If you fix it they will come

If the foundation is cracked your bound for trouble

How can this entire "TEAM" honestly say we're gonna ALLOW YOU TO COLOR YOUR BIKES??????

but have multiple professions broken, broken missions, bugs and LAG LIKE HELL IN A DESERTED TOWN????????

just fix professions first and70% of people will stop complaining

Im Glad I can color my bike hot pink and silver while Bounty Hunts scream "#$%^ another mark spawned in the god @#^& wall." or "Jesus christ, when the #$%^ are they going to fix these Marks with no name?" through out guild chat and spatial. I can look at them and laugh as I pass by and say, "Yes, our Dev tem does everything they can to produce somthing of good quality, look at my speeder, have you seen a better one?"

Im glad that the devs finally realised they screwed up by listening to rebel players whine about how powerfull the AT-ST was. Im glad they are removing flame damage from them. (Wont see anymore people from the forums cussing out an AT-ST, haha, cheap pop for stupid people that call insulting someone flaming). Im glad they are still a waste of faction points for anything more than getting higher level missions for more cred.

Im glad that bugs have gone on since launch without ever having been fixed and continue to plague the system and devs sit there shrugging helplessly while forum leaders say "Uncle Dev wants YOU! for Testcenter." When you devs that call your selves "programers" and when the forums reps like Thunderheart listen to the boards, you will see your changes. You want someone in TC? I'll tell you how to fill TC. Reinact the beta sign ups. Let people play a buggy game for free testing it out, and let paying playersm play for (gasps) WORKING CONTENT.

Im glad you Nerfed Melons back in 2003, Im glad you nerfed the AT-ST in PVP combat (when it should have been pve) Im glad you nerfed Image design too (that one took some big ones, those image designers where really causing a havok with the funny hair styles) Im glad all these and more where nerfed so that I could fly a swoop with blue and Yellow colors. (By the way, that thing you call a swoop, Do me a favor, I know this is "starwars" in name only, BUT GET RID OF THAT BASTARDISATION OF A SWOOP, ITS NOT ONE. It neither looks like a Swoop, acts like a swoop, or flys like a swoop. Watch A new hope special edition, play Shadows of the Empire, or watch Attack of the clones (to see an old swoop) so you can figure out YOU SCREWED UP ROYALY. If all of this is above you, take a look here. http://www.geocities.com/Area51/7677/s.htm#swoo
Or you can go here,
http://mitglied.lycos.de/STARWARS_Blueprints/3other_surface/s_swoop.jpg

Now, Ill put this into small words so the graphic people can figure out where they messed up. 2 engines, not 4. The "swoop" you've given us is one that looks more like one from ATOC. WRONG GENERATION. Shadows of the empire is based slightly after this game is taking place. (Pahntom Menace)+(Attack of the Clones)+(Lucas insert title for ep 3 here)+(A new hope)+(Galaxies)+(Empier Strikes back)+(Shadows of the empire)+(Return of the Jedi)=you fix the swoops from the wrong time period that are graphicaly fubared anyways.

In the end, stop adding content, do some reserch, fix the broken/wrong content, stop nerfing stupid crap.

"Please note, I have no programming skills to speak of, so this "low level" task is not taking away from any designer fixing the top issues."
Q-3PO

Doesn't this describe all the other devs too?

Well. It's good to see that the star wars galaxies development team is rich with intelligent qualified people!

But like everyone else, I am deeply concerned about what appears to be, the very little ammount of time that is spent correcting historically innaccurate, bugged, or disabled content.

In order for SWG to remain a viable asset to both players, and the development team over the next3 or so years, progression needs to be made in terms of consistantly addingnew content, HOWEVER, putting bug-fixes and content error-correction second to content updates is not an effective way of managing a huge, volitile online community in the long term. At least not constantly.

I would like to see an entire update, patch, what have you, dedicated entirely to content restoration, repair and bug fixes. I find it very difficult to immerse myself in the games content when I constantly (exaggeration, I konw) come accross minute errors. It really throws me off course, and it shouldn't, considering I'm paying nearly 38 dollars Canadian a month to play.

Thanks, for sticking with us this far.
