Are medical droids working in the corvette? Cuz after you die how do you heal wounds or re buff?

I agree with an above poster that it shows a lack of creativity on the developers part that they increase the toughness solely by creating tougher mobs.

The lowest have 13k ham and take an unrealistic amount of shooting before they go down.

The most fun I've had so far was poking my head out a door on the corvette, seeing two guards pacing and waiting for them to be walking away from each other so I can cross the corridor into another door. Fantastic. Shame I've also fallen foul of the random nature of where the "information" is. Most of my time has been utterly wasted travelling back and forth.

Oh, and when I logged out for 20 minutes my brand new buffs disappeared entirely. My first trip up was just me on accaragm/brandy and moun because of this. Like I said, it was fun(ish). I don't expect to complete the mission alone. I accept that, but the mobs could be toned down in favour of a shorter time to complete. A lone player wouldn't be able to clear it all in time to get the big rewards, but they would have fun trying. A group on the other hand, that is playing the game as the developers prefer - in a group - have a good time ruling the day, complete the mission and get some nice rewards to put an even bigger smile on their face.

This shouldn't be a near impossible skin of your teeth dungeon - let's keep that kind of thing for games with a save button.

So i'd just like to reiterate something that is bothering a number of people and that's the developers preference to create uber mobs, rather than come up with something exciting (20 minutes killing one mob is NOT exciting), engaging and fun.

Would've been nice to know that only ONE person in the group needs to get a ticket to the Corvette. 2 of our group, myself and one other, tried to talk to the pilot at once. I'm guessing the rest of the group accepted his invitation, I got a loading screen then dumped back to the Emperor's Retreat alone. Robbed our group of a chunk of our firepower and left me with sod all to do while the rest of my PA's Imperial members (we're mixed) ran around the Corvette.

Thanks a bunch for all that wasted shuttle and driving time

well readinag all the responses i see nothing that gives any feedback. all i see is complaining as usual.

I logged in this morning and left for cornet after seeing a post on the boards with starting locations. I met up with a few people also looking and we went to Tyrena and got the mission. We then decided to goto the warren . took us all of about 1/2 hour to find the desk and search it, get the override codes and bring them back. I should mention i also took the mission and ungrouped while at the warren and i to got the codes and a ticket. We were then told to goto the rebel Hideout (POI on Corellia) and we would be taken to the corvette.

Easy as pie.

Our first group was small. 2 swordsman, 1 TKM/Doc, a riflemen and me, Armorsmith/Pistoleer. so 5 of us. I knew this was suposed to be the "end all" dungeon, and was prepared to die. Storm Trooper's (RAR-22)were around 225k ham, heavy resists across the board.

Armor Rating : HEAVY

Special protection : Kinetic 95%, Energy 85%, Blast 80%, heat 30%, acid 30%, Stun 45%

Effectivness : Restraint, cold and Electricity 10%.

took a while but we managed to kill a few. got to the first room (up) and looted the data disk #4 to reboot the computer in the 1st control room. got a bridge code for that.

went a little farther and Whomp 3 Super battle droids. 162k Ham. Armor Rating : Medium

Special Protection : Kinetic 85%, Energy 95%, Blast 100%, Heat 60%, Cold 100%, Electricity 25%, Acid 40%, Stun 85%

Effectivness : Restraint 40%

needless to say, these wiped us out in a matter of seconds. Loots were negligable, mostly just cash, a couple crappy stun batons, dlt20-a rifles, and a cdef pistol.

Ok the point I want to make here is not knowing what we were up against, we got our butts handed to us, and I actually was very satisfied at this. It's about time there is something that is no way solo-able. I was smart and took alot of screen shots so I could remember resists and ham levels. Next time I go, I will be alot better prepared.

DEV's. how come NPC's can have a "Heavy" armor and we cannot?.,.... only way you can take these down in a timely manner is with Heavy piercing weapons, which if you look at the resists they are also 80%-100% resistant to the heavy weapons dmg types. I can understand you want to make it difficult but come on, this is just insane, remember you only give us one hour to complete it, yet it takes 5-10 min to kill this One ST. looking at the radar i estimated about 50-60 in the place.

Ok so after dying about 20 times, i managed to map out a few key locations important for completeing the corvette. so i used an escape pod, met with the group and got healed and buffed. this time we took 12 members and used my ticket. (this made the group very happy we didn't have to go back to the warren for another). I had to log shortly after so i took them up and showed them what i had found out. I left the 11 of them up there to get slaughterd hehe.

the dungeon itself seemed well planned out, and looked very nice graphically wise. the only dissapointment was getting Aggro'd through the walls and floors, and being stuck in combat mode. then if you get killed and clone, there is a 160k ham ST standing at the clone point waiting and 1 shot kills you over and over till your ham is all black and everything you own is decayed to zero. finally if you just lay and wait the hour out you get teleported back down, but who wants to lay there dead for an hour? certainly not me.

Over all We did have fun, and yes It was very challenging. good job on those 2 points. maybe reworking the clone thing so there is no Red Dot aggro ST waiting for you might make it better, and put an escape pod terminal in the clone room so we don't have to die 15 times trying to get to it. Another thing to consider adding (actually don't know if there is one on the ship, didn't get that far) is a med center so we can heal 1/2 way through and rebuff the dead.

Other than these few small issues, I'd like to say Well done, and keep up the good work.

Why is all the content designed for hardcore gamers, especially with instanced dungeons? Why not make an instance dungeon, where the difficulty is based on the the abilities of the players there. In addition, the loot would be based on the difficulty, which means soloing the dungeon or going with a few weak players won't get you much loot.

Win-win situation.

Hardcore gamers get their impossible dungeon with uber loot.

Casual gamers still get to play for once, and actually have fun!

Not that bad actually.

Stuff doesn't decay. After dying my stuff was still insured and I didn't get no pop-up.

Only bad part is not being able to buff.

I am going go ahead and assume that is a bug.

Mine did. Fully insured when I left.

On 2nd death - 5% decay on everything.

Oh my other complaint is that... Not all of my group got in.

We were a 5 people. Two people got left behind. I guess they weren't close enough to shuttle but we were all on radar and within a good amount of range. Ruined me time on there because I felt bad they didn't get on.

Praise thoses Super battle droids for being a challenge!!!!

I know the corvette was going to be ruff when i saw a pic of one of thoses droids. If you guys would of remembered when they raided theed it took nearly 35-40 people to kill 1.

And clone camping NPCs hahahaha, i hope a Bh gets a taste of that so they can feel the pain of a jedi!

Honestly i think your missing the point of 'cover' and 'overt' here though, and their part in this virtual game world (as a lot of people do).
If your a covert rebel, it is unknown to anyone (who's not rebel anyhow) what your faction alignment is. So as far as 'they' are concerned your a neutral citizen in the galaxy. (hence when you attack an imperial (npc) you get a TEF.. some ppl saw that you fought against the imperials so know your not a neutral)
If your an overt rebel, you outwardly visibly declared your self as being a rebel.. Imperials will attack you and the hunting season is open!
To take this in game logic to the shirt your refering to.. By wearing a big sign on your shirt shouting "I'm a rebel" your by definition overt.. So the designers and developers of this game had 2 choices really.
1) Either make you instantly overt when you put the shirt on (and bypass all current mechanics of becomming overt, and upsetting a lot of balances.. Not to mention get quite a few unsuspecting people killed the moment they put the shirt on) or
2) Make it so that you are already declared overt to be able to put the shirt on.
I'm glad they went for option 2 really :-)

its keith btw.
and i agree with you on some points, but i just feel that if your going overt, the last thing you are gonna want to wear is a silly jacket when more than likely you are gonna become a PvP victim. i think your looking at this really too closely and all with those strict definitions etc. the point i was trying to make, was if your gonna give us something that must be worn overt, you should make it something meaningful. a jacket with no mods and just and insignia while it looks cool, why else would i want to have it on while overt? i think if you look at the majority of overts you better have some sort of armor on you etc. it makes sense the devs went with option 2 as well because its most obvious but really at the end of it all, whats the point. whos gonna declare just to wear the shirt. give us something of substance, of use in the GCW not just a jacket
