Well guys, you may complain and the devs may not listen, but you still pay the subscriptions, and untill you decide to all pull out, then they will listen, the only way to hurt the corporates is to effect their income.

Although i appreciate everyones doom and gloom postings, i think some of them are constructive and critical, some of them are wasting their own time. Nothing beats the system with a mass cancellation.

If the company does not give what you want all of youpeople here, email acomplaint about the exact same problem leaving a combined "same complaint to the devs" with the exact same wording. If you do not do this, you then will just have to put up, and shut up !! with what ever they give to you as a gift. (Trojan Horse)

I am sorry but i work in a corp just like this and our customers are a little more pro-active in ensuring cancellation if we do not address any issues. If we had any more cancellations then 10% of the companies subscribers, we would inevidably lose our jobs and have to close thedept as it would not be a Viableproduct falling below the 10% - 15%net profit margin. Doing this would enforce SOE to sort their lives out before this happened. So please stop talking and fumingand take action, otherwise you are being screwed out of your customer satisfaction.

I totally agree with you there. In fact, I read another post where a dev replied and I feel much happier about the situation now. I wouldn't cancel my subscription because of one aspect of the game that makes me abit unhappy, although itmaybe a big aspect.

As I said I feel a little better about things now, and I totally agree the best way to influence a company is to hit them in their pocketbooks, but on the same token this is a forum for voicing opinions (in a non-offensive manner of course), no matter how "doom and gloom" or optimistic they are.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the current discussion, but i was wondering if anybody knew when Publish 9 and 10 are going to start.

TH,

Will it be a problem if I can t log until the 12th of July after the patch comes out ???

Will I get converted without any difference than from day one ?

I didn t convert my TC2 Jedi at the second rollback the day of the rollback, and then I could not convert any more.

Is it a one day conversion?

This is the most rediculus delay to date. I can't stress enough how bad things have been going for Star Wars Galaxies. You dev's need to shape up or ship out and let a new more EXPERIENCED team go to work on this stuff. I extremely hope that these annoying delays will not put a delay on PUBLISH 10 Jedi Trials. I for one after all this delay wouldn't care if you took away one of the mini-publishes to be able to bring Publish 10 in an ORDERLY fashion. A matter of fact it would make more sense to do that and bring 3 mini-publishes before Publish 11 rather than delay Publish 10. I am still hoping along with many other PAYING customers that you will bring Publish 10 in a late July release like originally planned and hopefully be able to put this rollercoaster back on its track. I really hope you read this post because this is coming from my heart along with the hearts of many other Star Wars Galaxies Players. Thank you for your time.

This type of business ethic continues at SOE because of their CEO, John Smedley. Little does the public know, that Star Wars Galaxies was scrapped in 2002 and redeveloped in 14 months from the ground up. In a meeting, they asked how they could get away with releasing such an unfinished product. John Smedley stated that people will buy it because it has a Star Wars name on it - and then laughed as they said they would complete the retail product (which consumers have already paid $49.99 for) with approximately 2 years of subscription revenue
