Why does everything that drop have to be something crafters can make? Does no one realise we are playing Starwars? There are lots of items in Star Wars from the old days which current time period crafters can not make.

How about Uber looking Armor options that require a crafter to make modifications so it can be used? The Armor is quest items and a reason to quest, the use of it requires work from a crafter to adapt it to the person using it, or to modify its power source, what ever.

Ancient Droids that require custom components to repait it so it can be used.

The player uncovers a very cool whatsit and sets out to find a master to help him or her use it. This is straight out of the Novels Star Wars. We don't want to look like everyone else. Put some Epik adventures in this game. If you make a quest that takes 150 hours to get a Suite of Ancient Armor on par with Composite but with better stats it will upset Master Armor smiths. If you do it and require special matterial to be crafted to adjust it to modern us then everyone will be happy and the player will be much more happy with the armor. Make getting the special crafting Schematic part of the quest.

Its not hard to be creative with a little work.

Well, How about quests that help advance a char like give them a certain ablity that is not in there skill tree of there profession... Like a quest you can do only once. Myself I would love to be able to make my Char beable to advance beyond the point you have set for us, because at a certain point witch comes farly quickly after starting a few eeks down the road there seems to be nothing to do except PvP, dont get me wrong Pvp is cool but if the rewards don't get better I see alot of people leaving the game, Sad to say... the Badge Idea is a great thing except that no one knows you have it but you, and there seems to be no noticeable reason for aquireing them, they don't help you in anyway, so why do them. I'm not ranting... I just feel that if you do a quest that it should better you in some way, getting a badgethat doesn't better youin anyway except to have a line of texton you char screen that no one see but you is a waste. I dont feel the game will go very far if things like this are not addressed.

Over all game play is fun, but once you reach a certain point and you have chosen your profession, gotten as good as you can then bang, nothing to do cept kill the other team if thats all I wanted to do I would go buy streetfighter and invite a friend over and we could kick each others butt. Please take Ideas from EQ and use some of them here, atleast when you did a quest it was noticeable to the EQ commuinty.

Upon completion of a long quest, a great reward would be to see one's ownstanding in acquiringa FSCS. For the instances where someone with a FSCS (lol, yea right) does the mission, they'd be rewarded with some really nice jedi crystal or something like that.

I win.

Mogan; Shadowfire - Master Fencer, Master Brawler, anxiously awaiting an increase in the skill point cap (I only need 5 more)

1st, i'd like to see faction points actually being awarded for everytime i complete a minor quest that is part of a theme park or other big quest.

2nd, the rewards for each quest should be unique to that particular quest. Maybe that symbolize that quest some how. A statue of Han and Leia, a framed picture of a the rebel outpost or the millium falcon, something cool and original that no crafter can make. I dont want uber weapon x. Give me something that is starwarsy and I can show off. I dont want any broken items either. How about some binocullars that actually work and we can use ingame. EQ has a telescope u can use, its pretty cool to use. I read a post from another player with a suggestion for a disk or datapad that tells a starwars story. I think that is a great idea also.

3rd and last, you could raise the credits rewards up alot. a few 1000 credits goes no where in this game.

I was searching for a holocron yesterday. Me & a friend must have killed atleast 40-50 Nightsisters and their Rancors.... They did not drop ONE thing!!! Only credits! I hate to complain or sound condescending but this game has the most awful loot system in any MMORPG I have ever seen! Where is the loot? For the amount of time, resources, & risk it takes to kill Nightsisters I should get some sort of reward afterwards. And not just some Laser Rifle that's 1/10 the quality a Novice Weaponsmith can make. I want unique items I can't get anywhere else. Clothing / armor / weapons that artisans cannot make. Something with a unique graphic that helps set my character apart from most others... and something that is actually useable (If it's a weapon make it worth fighting with). Just my thoughts. If you can't do this just please for the love of God make them drop something!!! Thanks.

Really I would be happy looting anything better than a melon, or cdef weapon, or dagger. I would like to see the rest of the maurader armor available for the missions for King Terak. I also think that certain imperial quests could reward with a ranking stormtrooper arm patch maybe? Maybe you could start making loot the same stuff as an npc wears or one item of their clothing that a master tailor cant make. Or maybe more cool bandoliers that can actually hold items and dont stick out from your player funky.

How about crafter useable things? Not only would that not make the crafter angry, but might please both parties

Something like kyrat segments. Things along those lines.

Just a thought.

Antique Star Wars stuff is a cool idea, Btu the one I like better is Cool Titles to display for everyone to see.... i.e. Luke's Spy, Vader's Assassin, Jabba'a Thief....

As someone who has played a variety of different classes I would like to state that I think uber components like Krayt don't help crafters

What happens is this: Fighters loot the components, talk guildies or friends or make a healthy one-time pay off to a crafter who makes his/her best gun ever

Then afterwards all of the regular guns seem like CDEFs in comparison, prices deflate for anything that isn't Krayt and the crafters have the impossible chore of trying to get hold of Krayt

Meanwhile shrewd fighter characters who can get hold of more Krayt than the crafters become richer while a small section of the crafting community share in that success but everyone else wonders why they did all that grinding

So what would be good as rewards

For me, new experiences - meeting Bobba Fett stuff like that would be pretty cool. I like the idea of trophies but there is a limit to how many one wants. Schematics are a good idea - in fact I think it would add fun to the crafting profession if a number of unique schematics were introduced. If you were the only chef who knew the Secret Big Burger Recipe but could transfer the schematic if you wanted too that would be better than the Krayt reward which becomes a continuous headache. (And of course unique recipes would become next to worthless as resources shift)
