har har har har, i was master heavy swordsman and could solo these things back when i was rebel..if anything "players" are simply to strong
I agree that they should make the ATST's stronger and give the Reb's a comparble pet (I would prefer if these were indeed vehicles, would make a heck a lot more sense).
Hey all get this,, i am getting tells all the tiem on how hard DWB is ,, I havnt had a chance to nail this place yet.. ( building a city and guild an all ).... I love the fact that people are screaming.. Makes me want to hit ... over and over again to figure it out...Send me some info on the place and tell me what you think.....Stratagy ect.....im sitting here drooling.. "Plus if you on ahzazi send me a tell if a big group is forming for this place.. Thanks
not to much common sense in alot of things in this game but a good one is
why does metal objects burn?
would need way more heat then a flame thrower to melt the metal as thick as one of its legs
i can understand the cammando laser type weapons but seriously why fire? its not a cutting torch
and lightsabers cut thru the floor of one in the movie to toss the grenade inside of it to blow it up
man if i was making a game it would have more common sense =p
Fixing things is one good thing, making AT-ST only attack factional units was and is a good thing.
BUT making factional pets useless in PVP is another, AT-ST is just the beginging, ever see anybody whip out a rebel commando?
Or even a DarkStorm trooper?
I have seen 3 AT-ST go down to a rebel TKA buffed, that is to easy, same with turrets, they are to easy to take out.
The game has few real challanges, things that by commen sense should be hard are not.
What real joy is there in knowing everthing you run into you can defeat?
The game becomes boring at that point, was one reason I quit playing another SOE game Planetside.
The Nurf bat came out to often and in most cases the things that got nurfed were the items that evened the sides up, thus creating imbalance in the game overall.
I use my AT-ST in the game for only 2 things, Running Faction missions, and as something to group for higher pay missions.
The last alone makes to valuable to waste on PVP in the current system.
FACTION LAND VEHICLES!!!!!!
Plz do not revamp the AT ST PET REMOVE IT! AND REPLACE IT WITH AN ATST VEHCILE!! Allow player to jump inside the Atst and use it as a faction vehicle for war. I have a whole post on the Galactic Civil War forums about this idea. That would also allow rebels to have the Rebel class landspeeder or more commonly know as the snowspeeder. the rebel speeders would have better speed and agility over ATSTs but less fire power and accuracy! And when one uses a faction vehcile to kill in PVP or PVE only allow it to give them combat and bonus fp xp. Here I will give you a quick summary of the idea in bullets:
1. Faction Vehicles
- ATST mountable vehicle that you can attack with ATSTs turrets not ur own weapon.
- ATST have great terrain negotiation and accuracy along with turret damage
- Rebel landspeeder capable of firing lasers and towcables/harpoons
- New system like fishing for firing harpoons
- Allow a character to be protected while in vehicle untill vehicle is disabled or he dis-mounts the vehicle
- AT AT very very slow, transports up to 10 imperial players at a time giving them all protection till vehcile is disabled. ATAT is immune to almost all attacks.
- Effective way of bringing down AT AT use rebel landspeeders towcables and harrpoons to latch on and spin a line arround legs of AT AT KDing it for a long period of time. When AT AT is KD it is vunerable to all types of attacks and has a greatly reduced resist level.
- ATAT must be very hard to come by harder than getting a jetpack.
-AT AT very high HAM, and only able to use outside of player cities and towns
PLZ DEVS I AM BEGGING YOU MAKE SOMETHING AT LEAST CLOSE TO THIS AT-ST IS A VEHCILE NOT A MINDLESS PET!!
AT-ST are part of the Star Wars theme, I would be happy if they took them and then made the random ones 10 X tougher.
But then the Rebels would whine that they can not solo them anymore.
Imps pay 10,000 faction points or more for those AT-ST what rebel faction pet cost that much?
I am waiting for combat revamp and see who and what gets nurfed and how it effects the game.
