I've said it before but will again, Combat Revamp should take precedence over EVERYTHING else. It is the core gameplay we are talking about and that should always come before an expansion pack in my opinion.
Sure it willbe cool to fly around in space but how awesome will it be for PVP to actually mean something? How cool will it be to have ALL professions playing a rolein theGCW? How cool will it be.... etc.
Combat Revamp please, not an expansion pack...yet.

Reading it carefully, I ´m quite sure this is, what this sentence grammaticaly tells us: "We can´t delay six month of JTL-coding (since January till now) for something (i.E.:the COMBAT BALANCE), that really makes STAR WARS what it is. !!?!?!?
"Something" can´t be the JTL, because that wouldn´t make any sense.
Reading it out ofcontect carefully you're right. But what he's referring to with "something that really makes Star Wars what it is" is space not Combat Balance. He'd mentioned that higher in the post of his you quoted.

Funny thing is, I thought of that possibility, but that makes even less sense, because it would read:
"We can´t delay six month of JTL coding, that we did allready, for the JTL that really makes Star Wars what it is."
Which means they can´t delay JTL for JTL!?!?
And it can´t read: We can´t delay six month of CB coding for the JTL. Because there obviously haven´t been any real coding yet.
So of course it´s relatively clear, that TH tried to say: Well, we coded allready 6 month for JTL, and we don´t want todelay JTL, because it makes Star Wars Star Wars.
But once again he seems to be unable, to say such a simple thing in a correct way, you have to guess what he means. And he is the one is supposed to push information from DEVs to Customers and vice versa. It´s a joke.
If my thoughts about english grammar are wrong feel free to flame me to ininity, i´t would be just what I deserve in that case. (And don´t tell me my English is by far worse, I know it, butI m not working as puplic relations manager for SOE.)

Stop to belive all the dev. write, JTL is 29$ and patch are free, that's all.
If they have planned to sell Jump to the combat revamp or Jump to the galactic civil war, be sure we would already have it !

Ok, this is what happened. Since I was 'slightly' upset at the announcement of Thunderheart, I decided to do some community service by warning new players not to stay around because the Devs are a bunch of moneygrabbing lying bastards.
So, with the convenient fact that all new players start out in Mos Eisley these days, I parked my ass out in front of the Starport and started spamming a message. People got upset, angry and some asked for an explanation. I got more hate-tells than in the past 11 months I've been playing combined and was challenged to duels repeatedly.
Also, at least 2 dozen people informed me that they reported me and hoped I would get banned. I told them, hey this account is canceled already, see if I care
So I come back in the morning (I live in Europe) and what do I find, not only did it take 6 HOURS for CSRs to respond to the reports, all the **edit**ing pansies did was transport me 3K away into the middle of nowhere and informed me that they added an infraction or something to my account for SPAMMING (cookie cutter response as always) and repeated activity of the kind would get me banned.

I WASN'T JUST SPAMMING, I WAS ACTIVELY TRYING TO PERSUADE PEOPLE INGAME TO CANCEL THEIR ACCOUNTS IN AN ANNOYING WAY, JUST TO SPITE SOE AND COST YOU YOUR JOB.
Now people may or may not agree with me spamming, but I hope you all agree this kind of pansy CSR behaviour is just pathetic. **edit** do I need to do to get banned from this game?

in any other business venue this would be the companies death toll,ie there would either be backlash as in legal proceedings or simply canceling whatever service product was purchased thru visa...they have a wonderful fruad division btw.
i started to worry 6 months ago when customer service became pure fiction,but i had guildmates,then 90% them left being tired of unkept promises.i hung in as i had a jedi,even talked some back into game,and im now leading them right back out.
this is by far the worst company ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with,and ive alphad and betad quite a few products,so i have a fair idea about both the bug fixing and administering headaches.
its very telling when a game cant even document its own patch notes,as they go live.
TH isnt the problem hes merely the sacrificial goat,although id hope he sees the writing on the wall,ie swg is sinkin fast,and no amount of distracting little blurbs will save it,were fed up and movin on many of us.jtl was a great idea had the rest of the game been properly administered,and had they brought in more dev resources to handle it,but soe greed killed any chance of that happening

i think the title says it all.... GREAT EXPECTATIONS thats all we have for this game and sadly as time passes on it seems thats all there will ever be.
being a smuggler/ pistoleer i pretty much lost all hope for either profession getting fixed months ago and this just reaffirms those believes. so smugglers are coming after combat which is now pushed to after jtl (the spot formerly held by the smuggler revamp), what happens when JTL has a broken component? combat will be pushed back further and smuggler will be lost... thunderheart you do remember there is a smuggler profession in the game right (though numbers are dwindling i imagine)?
anyway its sad, but not a shock....
