TD, I loged onto test server using mytoon copy from Bria. I had done 17 professions at the time and ihad 5 free unlocks, does this mean i dont all but 1 silent profession? also does it mean that i qualify for the first wave of visits from the old man?

Yeah, if you're oing to do something different than how it was on Test, you should make it clear in the patch notes, for the people who don't read the boards all day long. I feel sorry for all those people too.

Heh, yeah. I tried that a few times, and saw about 6 people making similar runs all to no avail. All because the devs love being vague as hell.

if im not visited by the old man in 5 days im gone
i already unsubscribed, we all should do that, thats the ONLY WAY we can show them we dont like how they handle it...waiting up to half a year (if in group 4) till you can ENTER the villiage is not even more a joke.

You know, I'm beginning to think this game is run by politicans, not game developers. You make all kinds of lies, but eventually get caught. Does "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" sound familier?

Here's a good couple questions for ya! One just when did ya bump it up to 8 Professions needed for the slot, that was MEAN 
Second, is the chart you showed for free unlocks based on needing 8 professions total or the original 5? It sez you get one branch unlock if you have 5 professions remaining(not done) but if thats based on 8 total, that would mean we all needed to have done at least 3 of our "secret" professions to ewven get one branch unlock!?!?!?!?!?!

Not clear enough...
please define what the glowy means? I think what we all want to know is if we have the inner glow upon loading today, do we qulaify for an automatic visit? I loaded and had the inner glow. No visit. My bud who completed 32 professions has had no visit. I think the automatic visit is broken.

Wanna talk lies? I remember it being said there would never be any artifical cap put in place to limit jedi. Maybe im wrong, but adding a grouping system so that some people cant work towards jedi at all until the people before them go is an artificial way of capping movement toward jedi.....

I have the stupid "glowy" message. Everyone else that I have talked to that also has the glow:
NO ONE HAS RECEIVED A VISIT FROM THE OLD MAN
What's even worse, it appears that the lack of old man visits has absolutely zero to do with "village overload" B. S... This was a post from one of our Eclipse citizens:
"I did a people search at the village of Aurillia, and Endur showed up. Seeing as how he's a Jedi, I asked him if he's in the village. Yes. How many other people? Two.
We're being kept out of the village for traffic reasons, and there are 3 people in there. This is ridiculous. I just thought you'd like to know what kind of Village trafficmayhemSOE isdealing with right now. -_-
(Don't misconstrue what I mean, I'm not mad at the people in there, since 3 people obviously isn't enough to block everyone out. I'm mad that SOE is denying content that you and I have worked for.)"
This is bad... This is very bad... I had high hopes for this publish. I had thought the devs were doing a great job eliminating the "hologrind" that really did take away from experiencing the content of the game. But this putting people in mysterious groups, where you are not even allowed to know what group you're in, and being fed a load of rubbish about why people are being locked out. I'm majorly disappointed. I feel like a fool for defending the devs in the Test Center forums when I was happily testing this supposedly wonderful new content. I feel betrayed, and insulted. Just because I never participated in the hologrind and chose to actually play the game, this is the thanks I get. How very sad.

To be clear:
Lets say Player A has completed 32 professions before publish 10.

Yes but the real question is How long is player B going to have to wait for a visit? I am in the Player B category in which my status says I have an Inner Glow and the force is with me. Am I in the automatic visit group or am I in group 3 or 4 because I only mastered 11 Professions prior to PUB 10 and have to wait a week to a month for everyone to work through the village before I get my Old man visit.
If it is the later and I have to wait a week to a month before I can start my quests you better believe I won't be playing this game much longer. If I unlock my FS Slot whether I did it by professions or by way of the new system shouldn't matter when I receive a visit. I don't mind rewarding the Hologrinders but gating people who been playing since day one and enjoying your game from the content they rightfully earned and pay for is BS.
