At the beginning of the new jedi system i thought it would be ok. I haven't started to grind yet because i decided to do TKA but i have begun to think that maybe it is a little too much grinding. The point of the jedi revamp many say was to stop grinding professions along with too many jedi popping up. But now the jedi grind has only worsened as you possiably need to get more doing the SAME kind of exp. Atleast with the previous way of getting jedi you changed profewssion and get badges bu now is going to get buffed, maxing out converting and restarting and piont a. I think and it already has, that many people were at the edge of the game already and now some have just been pushed over when they found out its more grinding. I don't have a huge problem with it but i wish is was some other way that was FUN considering this is a game and you're supposed to wanna play... I have already seen a few good-bye posts on the "in live" section on the other forums...
Im not angry at the CSR's cuz they have done a good job before and have created an amazing game that many ppl enjoy or used to. They are not trying to make the game unenjoyable and i am sick of ppl saying they suck all the time...
What do you think? :
Jedi in this game to give you 60$ and wait until after christmas. I know people who would take longer than that to complete the FS to Initiate progression, and there are plenty who would finish earlier, but the point is THEY CAN'T, you *CANNOT* progress at your own pace. You placed the
phases in the village in hopes of limiting the ammount of Jedi, so that there wasn't a huge flood of them. The problem with this theory is every 3 weeks there will be a bunch more jedi, ALL AT ONCE, instead of a new Jedi here and there randomly. I can't stress this enough when I say you can't force a player to follow a certain time frame. I've never heard tell of an MMORPG where you can't progress at your own rate and have to move at the exact same speed as all the other players. 4 and a half months? I can't count the ammount of posts with players saying they plan on quitting because they started when the game launched, decided NOT to hologrind, and just play the game, and are now paying for it and have to wait another 4 and a half months to get Jedi Initiate. There are some serious changes needed in this system..but I'm not sure if any of the devs realize this..

I would love to see the number for actual amount of people who have cancelled their accounts since publish 10 went through.
SOE does not respect or have and regards for their customers. All we get are generic responses to our request for help and auto emails if you go the email route.
I had 3 accounts cancelled 2 so far. My main account still has a few months on it. I personally know of at least 30 people who have left the game many of who had multiple accounts.
It's not a matter of how many Jedi that will be running around it's a matter of SOE and their need to control people. Not everyone will chase jedi. Many are doing just to get the 2nd character on their server.
Take one quest, finish it, then grind out an ungodly amount of xp. Doesn't seem like a real quest-based system as much as a complete a quest in order to get back to grinding.
XP to FSXP is a real chore because of the darn xp caps. I can out Medical XP (80k) in about 30 minutes... then i have to go back to the village, convert, rinse, repeat.
Seems like a good way to keep the Village clear of lurkers is to raise the XP caps so that we don't have to go back and exchange so frequently.
