Fantastic! I've got myself a full set of Wookiee armour now. I was parading it around Coronet and dozens of people were /telling me they wanted to check out it's stats. lol. It looks a bit silly, but it is very cool.

Grailml mentioned earlier you shouldn't succumb to the whims of the crown when having to change Star Wars lore. He's absolutely right. So if a decision is made not to relelase anymore armour for us wookiees - then so be it. Upgraded PSG's would be nice though .

Anyway, overall, good work! Looking forward to that Corvette...

This has to do with wookiees.

First of all I'm glad wookiees got something to wear if they choose to.

I have an issue with consistentcy.

Wookie Armor is craftable by any Master Armorsmith.

Bowcastersa wookiee only weapon is only craftable by a wookiee.

Can someone please explain how these are different?

Wookiee Armorsmiths should be able to craft the armor, Wookiee Weaponsmiths should be able to craft the weapons.

And for those of you who will flame this response, just remember. If all the details were taken care of the game would be better.

Wasnt the Corellian Corvette supposed to come out today?

No, next mini-publish.

Which is when exactly? Normally we've gotten 1 per publish. So you guys gonna try for later this week or is the Corvette now an "End of April" Kinda thing?

Generally the new dungeons will come out about two weeks after the main publish (according to a previous dev statement) so sometime soon.

TH, why don't you guys make a mini-publish/publish that fixes every single bug in the game. Make a thread where players post bugs, then reply when you have fixed them. I would think this would make EVERYONE happy

ok, the wookie armor says that it has trophies on it, yet in the guide it says wookies see no need for trophies.......... ironic, isnt it?

Devs: could you please fix all the whining little brats who don't understand that with code comes bugs that have to be fixed?

jeez....you people whine, the devs fix it, and you whine some more...

why don't you all freaking just shut up, and try throwing out some constructive criticism?...

like pictures with wookie armor graphic glitches, so the devs can actually have something to work with, instead of bitching and moaning about "oh whaaaa i can't mindlessly kill stuff" or "whaaaaa too long before publishes"....

god you people are pathetic....

devs...and no this isn't me ass-kissing....it's me saying thank you for the work you put into this....i know probably only a small portion of the community appreciates it, but those of us who do, appreciate it immensely, and always look forward to the next batch of additions....

thank you

I just posted the following report of my first impressions as a wookiee with this new armor to the armorsmith forum:

- yay!

- I've been able to wear the following clothing items with a full suit of armor: Bandoleer, backpack, arm wraps, belt. I cannot wear: waist wrap. shoulder pad. Did not try anything else.

- You can wear the bracers (which look to have build in gloves) with wookiee arm wraps but you don't see the arm wraps. (not going to complain and lose a new found socket, just reporting)

- the 'missing' arms are mentioned above are kinda hard to see unless you're looking for the bug, but for the record I've also seen this happen in a much worse way when wearing the chefs apron and a pari of arm wraps.... ther your whole hand goes missing! EEK!

- I think the body piece should be longer or the leg pieces should block the wearing of a waist wrap. While the chest fits nice with a sigiled waist wrap the absense of anything below the waist looks awkward when in a full suit... especially when mounted on a bike. I'd gladly trade the arm wraps for a waist wrap.

- I had no problem wearing a full suit encumberance wise. After a few nice encumb slices (no, didn't pay for it to be sliced, there really isn't any advantage here, but I'm a smuggler so whatever) the suit all together is just 198/217/153 - for a non-advanced/grind/test suit. That's fine for being ~40%/~20% with a pile of vulnerabilities, but my alt zebrak who can't wear a full *ubese* suit without a couple of encumb slices (damn 400 max secondaries) would be upset if the next armor types are better resist wise but just as 'easy' for a wookiee to wear.

- The top piece just feels too oriental in style. I even bought a sword just to finish off the samarai outfit. However, I really like style of the lower leg pieces and will probably end up wearing those just because.

- I haven't seen any stat shifting and i've been traveling to a few cities and planets now. Thank you to all the smiths on test center for catching this.

- My only real concern - and I haven't fought in the suit enough to know if it is a valid one - is that with a condition of around 20k and each piece covering multiple 'zones' that I'm going to burn through a suit of this pretty fast.

I think that's all from me on day one.

The difference is that Wookiees are not forced to use a Bowcaster if they want to use a weapon.

The Wookiee armor is our ONLY avenue for solid protection. Making it craftable only by Wookiees would severely hinder our ability to produce and purchase it, since I doubt there are many (if any) many-month-old master AS Wooks with huge stockpiles of materials.
