I'd simply like to applaud SOE for yet another patch/publish/update focused on Jedi and the continuous bug fest that entails, while neglecting other professions. Note to self: sarcasm doesn't translate well over text.

I can appreciate that the devs are trying to fix their mistakes, yet it is the only damn thing they did. Can't they do a little bit of everything instead of focusing all the time on one topic, namely Jedi-Force-Sensitive-PvP-BH-on-your-arse.

/sigh

From the folks I've talked to merely logging in was all it took to get them back on the terms.

All xp debts should have been wiped. The whole system has been seriously borked. See posts above it is really just sad.

The end result of these new changes seems to be there is no good feasable way to stay off the terms now. Every jedi seems to be destined for the terms, with teh only variation in being how much they're worth. It's almost ridiculous to discuss this issue with staying off the terms in mind, as that no longer seems to be an option.

OMFG, you mean that buy buying several copies of the game, paying 15 x whatever number to SOE would be illegal according to the EULA, damn so me buffing my Scylla main with my alt using the same comp just running 2 clients damn, i guess im gettin banned, i suppose SOE dont want my money.

Actually nothing is wrong with SOE and the EULA... they want your money and they don't care how many computers you use.

Check the facts first, it's Mecinia who doesn't know what she's talking about and telling us what the point of a Multiplayer game is.

lol i was being sarcastic, sorry for not making it clear, after all, what came first the Multiplayer game or the alt account? ive had a few on every game of this type i have play'd

I don't know if this is the right place to report this but... I enabled the new BITS Technology for "upgrading" my launchpad and now it crashes every time I try to log into the game. I just get an error report when I try to bring up the launchpad. I don't even get as far as the log-in screen.

P.S. I did a system restore to September 27th and now my launchpad works again. Needless to say, I will not be using this new feature.

One thing I would like to see is no visibility gained from NPCs that see me with my Saber equipped if I kill them all. My theory here is if I kill them all, how does the word get out? Unless of course your suggesting that Vader can invade their mind and "see" me that way.

I liked your post. My only response is to this part.

I believe is by using your Saber you are using the force to wield it. It is a passive use, sort of like the way we breath. This use is how Vader and the Emperor know of you. The more you use it or other force powers the more noticeable your influence on the force. Which then allows the Emperor to know of you. You are a tremor in the force that is noticeable enough to be hunted. Sort of like how Vader and the Emperor knew of Luke in ESB, he was more focused in his use and therefore more easily identifiable.

No i have 1 account only, when you unlock jedi you get an extraplayer so thats 2 characters per server clearly not an exploit, you cannot run both of them at the same time as its both on the same account. However i can unlog one of them log in the other and jedi player is LD but i can still buff him before he disapears from the area. then i just simply log the jedi back on and go about my buisness, however sometimes in the middle of buffing it says target not found so i have to sighn off my main and relog my jedi and then do the same to buff him fully.

I dont see how this is in any way an exploit, specially when nobody is around to buff me and the only option is to stand in line unbuffed for 10 minutes at coronet starport praying i dont get ganked by a BH/TKA.

Luck.

How can I tell if it's broken?

DoesLuck increase credit loots only or does it also increase the chance of better loots? I've seen no evidence to support either.

Unless, of course, Luck only affects FS/Jedi quests and happenings, i.e. increased credits and item loots from Sith Shadows. Is this the case? I ask this because last night while doling out justice to Mokk Shaman I looted four (4!) reinforced combat staffs in a row

and between 1 and 20 credits each (as usual). I didn't feel very lucky and I haven't said "Wow! That was lucky!" since I learnedLuck with my one free unlock a few weeks ago.

Just wondering...
