Thats nice, but BH's will still be able to clone camp greif jedi. Way to fix the least of our problems.

    Thank you devs, for just killing the Scout and Ranger professions. I'm glad you got this out of the way now, at least we don't have to suffer waiting any longer. I assume Publish 9 you will be deleting the Ranger profession, moving Squad Leader to Marksman in preparation for the upcoming revamp, then be changing the name of the Scout Profession to "Pre-requisit wasted skill points for Bounty Hunter, Creature Handler, and Bio-Engineer".







    They left off that Novice Scout is required to use the module. No one is getting harvesting w/o scout.



    How do you know that, and if that's the case, what's the point?

    I think there are some interesting things in this publish but... I would lke to see a pure "fix" publish. The content that is in the game will suit players for a couple months, please take this time to fix problems with the game. Some of which are..


    1. Items inhouses disappearing.


    2. Vehicle warping.


    3. Vehicle repairs not sticking.


    4. Vehicles not storing when commanded to.


    5. Vehicles autostoring just a few seconds after dismounting.


    6. Homeowners not being able to remove "guest" vendors after a period of inactivity.


    7. Multiple clicks to activate shuttle tickets.


    8. Pet autostore.


    9. Mob warping.


    10. Two words Butt sliding.


    11. Mobs not appearing til you are in the middle of them being attacked.


    12. Lighting.


    13. Vehicles getting stuck on trees.


    These are just a few game mechanic problems off the top of my head. Many other problems exist in professions. I guess my point is, Please stop adding more things to cause problems when what you have does not work properly.


    I would like to see steps taken to make the game more player friendly instead of making it more taxing and work. After all it is a game. People play to have fun. If you have to "work" twice as hard just to keep your bike from blowing up in a few hours, thats not fun. If you can't apply the laws of physics and hide behind a rock so things don't see you only to have them magically appear behind you, I mean come on. Oh and, I can understand candles burning outbut a lamp that only lasts a month? Yet the torch beside ithas been burning sinceSeptember.The game should be challenging in steps but to make things hard on everyone in the name of immersion is arrogant.


    For the most part I applude the work thats done and I love to play the game. I have two accounts and play 4 advanced and 2 mid level characters. Please devote yourself to making the game more solid and life within it less of a burden.

    wow... I think they must be doing something else (space expansion perhaps) because this publish is weak, I mean WEAK! Fixing bugs... That is it? Sure, there are new droid modules, but so what? I hardly think that's cool enough to deserve the hype of a publish.


    All of this is funny because recently a dev was saying how they have gotten better at publishes. Of course, they are adding less as well.

    You have the audacity to call this a publish? Droid features AGAIN? Why were these not available in the droid invasion publish?


    Still the Bounty hunter gets screwed over. We lose our mission if a Jedi incaps us, but there is no mention of the LD exploit being fixed. Some of the promised features are unsurprisingly missing and there has been no mention of the dungeon to accompany this publish meaning there probably won't be one. Did players even ask for half of these "new" features, or are you just putting in what you want and as usual ignoring the community? Its a good thing I'm close to unlocking my Jedi slot as these features sure as hell aren't worth a portion of the monthly fee

    1. The GHR looks about the same in the hood region, but the clipping on the upperright arm seems to have been resolved. Didn't get a chance to test on other races
    2. I can't find the trando dress. It's not in the "dress" category. Maybe it's loot. I was checking all categories for it in case it got misclassified when I was booted.
    3. We have an "unknown schematic" (whichat first I thought might be the trando dress, in a bugged form. It takes 15 hide, 10 wooly, 5 plast, same as the wookiee armor segments. I tried to make the unknown schematic, and it says "you can't make that, the schematic is unknown". Huh? The wookiee segments are missing from my crafting tool.

    (And then I got craft bugged, where it says "you are already crafting". Getting killed didn't help the situation.)


    Vehicle auto-repair seems to be fixed, but I haven't gone off planet. I traveled from a starport to a shuttleport on the same planet, which used to auto-fix vehicles, and it did not.

    Droid mods are pretty cool, I have to admit. Lot of nice stuff for DEs to sell now.


    But, there are some major problems with BH missions right now that have a lot of BHs stuck in the mud (invisible marks), and some that crash people to the desktop (taking shuttle while seeker is out). And we have exploits in the Jedi missions (BH Clone Camping and Jedi disabling of seekers). These issues haven't even been recoginized by DEV. What's the deal?

    its just that in general a rifles recoil is much harder to re-aim to a pistol thus taking a considerable time to readjust the aim...



    a pistol is made to be fired fast... but if they both cap at 1 speed where is the combat differences... pistols should be light dmg(as they are) and very fast..but atm a rifle can shoot just as fast as a pistol...its ridiculous. i should get a .5 speed cap if you guys can shoot at 1 ps








    I hear ya, recoil. But this isn't lead bullets. This is lasers.

    And rifleman don't hit the speed cap without master marksman + skilltapes or just a lot more skilltapes.

    You CAN'T call for a nerf on a profession based on people with addons and extras.

    Just the base profession. No tapes, no buffs, no food or spice, no armor. If the profession is fine in that state then you should turn your attentions toward the enhancements.

    If you start nerfing professions because they're kicka$$ buffed and armored then you create an envirement where, to be good, they HAVE to have the uber BE enhanced food and sliced 90% armor to compete.

    Locking newbies and casual players out instantly.

    A 0.5 speed cap? Sounds ok to me.

    Another solution might lay in dual wielding.





    yes i see your point but think of it as somebody who isn't a rifleman


    ok you hhave joe shmoe who just picked up master rifle a few days ago and tested it in pvp and has some dmg sliced guns. so the stuff wont hit the speed cap..then u have mr master pistoleer loaded with mods.... and good armor


    rifleman wins.


    why cuz his template is just plain better. ... in an unbuffed fight vs a rm..if i dont dodge .. i die. cuz im running a 400/400/1100 spec..cuz i need all the mind i can get when i run into a RM. like i said the profession is overpowered and speed cap needs to be introduced.. even in SW they're was recoil ... a pulse of energy has to be shot from somewhere anything that cuts thru air that fast is going to have a recoil no matter what. the point of origin is going to have feedback


    like i said rifleman just are too good.....


    im more scared of a master rifleman atm than a master cm with venom


    they need -65 accuracy while moving..and 2 second speed cap


    none of this publish affects anything that people are quitting for...

    PVP SUCKS


    this game is so terribly un-balanced and catering to broken professions. they cater so much that they over do it and make it too good. carbineer is the 1st profession working as it should imho.


    do i have complaints about a fencer... yes.. but i am one atm so it nullifies it. are they incrediablly hard to hit w/o high accuracy sure...but they're dmg output is very low.


    we need balance before we need content...a good fix to pvp will leave me FAR happier than some modules most players will only use for 5 days. then get tired of them
