No, you're supposed to all be children out there, no matter what your age, expertise or experience, believe the company line that we start coding all this from scratch at the beginning of every publish and go and sit in a corner till we deem it worthy to try and explain how it works by plagerizing your own player developed materials on the subject instead of do our jobs and creating an authoritative manual.

My question right now is this: I have two characters right now, Shados, and my jedi Reborn. When the revamp hits what will happen? You still haven't explained anthing particuarly well.
Shados will be free to be played however you wish. Your Jedi will be a Jedi at some level. It will be a Jedi because you have a Jedi now. If you had NOT had a Jedi, there would be a calculation based on what effort you had put into the system and get credit for it in the new system.
The reason I havent explained it thoroughly is because the answer don't exist yet. They are coding it now.
um, CODING it? Shouldn't you have a design document with the basic RULES before you start coding?

If "the actual mechanics" are "fairly easy for the developers", why are we 9+ months after launch and BodyShot3 STILL does less damage with higher HAM costs than BodyShot2? Whyis PointBlankArea2 NOT actually an AREA attack? I don't want new freakin' animations consuming development time - I want myexisting specials to actually DO SOMETHING. Is that too much to ask for?
Lunatic Fringer here again,
And here are some issues and ideas I've been wondering about:
1) Are the possibilities of bringing in the full scope of other factions being considered yet at this time? Specifically, Is or will there be a possibility of joining Jabba's gang as a faction oppossed to just the Empire and the Rebellion? In retrospect to this, I believe the current system for the GCW can be applied to the rest of the factions. For every faction there seems to be an opposing faction in game. We just need some recruiters for the 'other' sides in the grand scope of things. Now, to me, if the development team does try and add new factions to join we should still be able to be members of the Rebellion or Empire just to make sure that that does take predominance in the full scope of the game. I'm sure a lot of you have been wanting to see this and I have too.
2) Is there any possibility for Factional PA halls on the Horizon? If the above idea is implemented... could we even have 'Mercenary' PAs that could be alligned Rebel one day and Empire the next? *and, hey, if the PA ends up with negative faction on both sides... at least that would be an interesting twist to add to the game*
3) I deffinately want to see this dual-wielding of pistols soon and possibly with some of the other professions like Fencer.
4) How about full Rebel Uniforms and Imperial Uniforms. What I mean to say is a wider varity. And could we see the Blast Helmets and X-Wing helmets soon? A side note here is to actually make these items worth being worn so that we players are more apt to be walking around with them on all the time and not just the Composite Armor we all love now. And I'm still pleased to know that the Imperial Hat issue is being looked into. Thanks TH.
5) While I know specifics aren't available for the 'credit for Hologrinding' can we get a confirmation in this mannor: Will X number of the professions knock off X number of the Quest Missions *or whatever the plan is* toward unlocking now? Basically, will it deffinately have a comparitive compensation or is this still going to be like starting from scratch to unlocking?
6) An idea I'd like to see is more mods for Speeders too. Specifically, Booster kits to temperorily speed up a speeder. This would make organized races a bit more exciting to participate in.
7) I'd very much like to see some new planets, races, weapons, and a lot of other things added in the future as well. So I'll just leave this one at; are any of these being considered for a possible upcomming publish?
The Lunatic Fringer
*I'd like to take this opportunity to appologize for any of my not so productive posts in the past... but I do believe we all get irritated from time to time and just forget that this *is* just a game for the most part*
Could we PLEASE get a fix for multiple stat SEAs? I have several wonderful SEAs I'd love to use, but sadly, usually some dinky stat boost overwhelms the good one on the tape or plate.
These have been broken forever, can you please get someone to take a day and fix these (assuming it'd be that easy of a fix)...
Thanks!

Pardon my french, but **edit** is that supposed to mean?
Oh, I see, you guys are just going ahead and doing whatever you feel like. Screw any Jedi, including the correspondent, who might actually have an opinion....
I dont understand how this is as big of a task as you claim. Whats so hard about fixing a special if its broken or ineffective? Take pistoleers for instance. 10 of our 12 specials either dont work, are redundant, or quite simply ineffective. The fixes for these however dont appear to be a time-consuming task. A few publishes ago, similar fixes were provided for the carbineer specials, so its been done before. Randonb wrote up an excellent document which provides a number of reasonable suggestions to fix each of our specials. I would hope that we would see some sort of action in regards to these issues soon.
The actual mechanics is fairly easy for the developers, but adding new specials need new animations. New animations is where things get time consuming.

Ahh, ok, so TH obviously is a student of that ancient art form, the Presidential Press Conference, and the cardinal rule that it's always easier to answer the question you wanted to answer, rather than the question that was actually asked.
Nobody asked about "new" specials, TH ... they asked about fixing the existing ones that have existing animations, so they actually do what they were supposed to do originally. No new animation to consume time, which is why the customer is confused about the lack of action on something so fundamentally broken since Day 1.

Thunderheart:
Sir i am a jedi ! I worked hard to become a jedi gaurdian 4444...I have been playing since day 2..These are my concerns questions .
1) Will I loose my thousands or Hours of time i put into being a jedi gaurdian.?...ie will my character be rolled back.
2) Will my skills work properly after the revamp?
3) Will I have content after reaching master?
4) Will saber damage be addressed ( kenitic) to something that isnt resisted by every mob in the galaxy?
5) Will I have to wear Armor after the revamp?
6) Since PVP is gonna be required to level are we gonna be made more competitive like was originally mentioned( ie handel a 20 person group easily)
7) And lastly is jedi gonna change so much that i will have to learn how to play This profession all over again?
Just a thought...
Would it be possible to make deadeye only usable by declared rebels (or just rebels in general) There are several imperials with rebels alts and "imperial sympathisers" that are giving deadeye to the "other side". Its not much of a bonus if both sides get it.
why isn't there alot of bug fixes during each major publish and mini publish?
my p.a. has lost alot of members due to the fact they lost factories where they had more than enough maintence in it for 2 months?
example one member had 22 factories making brandy. so he was off for 3 days while it was running when he came back it was gone. no email saying it was low or anything. all the resources and products made where gone. he submitted a csr ticket. you knwo what it said. to bad we can't help you. or thank you for your money but bend over cuase you are still screwed.
we lost alot in those factories. we hunted until all resources needed where gone and these where good resources. haven't seen that quality yet. this and many other bugs still persist and could of been fixed long ago.
all you need to do is have your bug team work on them and get them patch.
we can never get back what our guild mates lost due to this bug, and others. and now they no longer play.
the fact you have over 2 months of maintence in it then some rl comes up takes you away from the game for a few days like a week or 2. and your stuff is gone with no way of getting it back.
i personally have had harvestors with 30 days maint and power in it. come back 3 days later to see i have no power and my harvestor is on fire. lucky i went and checked it out. but if i didn't i would have lost those harvestors and the resource i was mining.
i like some new stuff and changes that are coming, but new content is not gonna keep people or bring others back if these bugs still are in game, get on the ball and start fixing this stuff. you got time between publishes to spend at least a day or 2 that who ever does these code fixes and get them in and taken care of.
