Nothing against the original poster, but TH come on!! You respond to this, which is nothing but a perk for a class and yet you continue to ignore the load uproar that your Friday Feature has caused for the BE profession!!!


Is this an actual representation of your priorities? Or we now no longer on your radar since the 'promised' BE Guise was copy and pasted??


Or, as many ppl on the BE forums think, you're just ignoring us.

First I would like to say thank you TH for the feed back, but please try and keep it up.

I know you won’t have the time to reply to everyone but the community is crying out for feed back.


Any way on to my question.

How will buffs work under the new HAM system?


Allow me to explain why this is such an important question. All the content that has been added to the game recently has been high end content aimed at high characters with buffs. Now without getting in to my personal dislike of buffs I think you should take a look at the doctor forum and this thread in particular. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=doctor&message.id=44302&page=1 Buffs are becoming a major problem in the game there is a lot of content that is inaccessible without them and yet the number of doctors selling them is decreasing, not because people are not willing to pay but because its too much trouble for the doctors who can make more money buffing themselves and taking combat missions.

My biggest complaint and needs to be addressed is the warping technology they have. I get off my mount or vehicle I get warped 100 m from the vehicle or I get warped to an unknown location then warped back to the speeder or mount. Please address this issue. It's and announce bug. Oh, and sitting on the ground then warping back or forward a few meters also annoying.


I agree that Pistoleer needs to be addressed. I mastered it and used stopping shot only on all mobs, it was boring then dropped it.

Not tryting to say any other profession doesn't deserve some attention, but at least you know how your profession works (even if there are bugs). There is NO other profession in the game that has so much conjecture, questions, guessing, and reliance on luck as the clone crafting system for the BE's.


If the weaponsmiths or armorsmiths didn't know the stats their product was going tohave until it was completely crafted, and then still not know if it was going to be usable by their customer until after it was purchased and 'tried on', I wonder if the Devs would allow that state of the profession to continue. Imagine buying a FWG5 pistol, and then when you equip it you're told "Sorry that's an invalid weapon. You can either adjust its stats so its usable by you, or adjust its type to match the stats". If you select to adjust its stats so its useable you're given apoorly craftedCDEF pitsol. If you adjust the type to match the stats, then you're given adecent flamethrower.


All we've asked for is information from the person who coded the clone crafting system about how it works, so that we can have less of a gussing game when it comes to CL's. Why are we allowed to use the crafting system as it was designed (meaning no exploits are being used by the BE) and yet the things we craft are considered 'Invalid'.

Ok, I wanted to post a thought regarding the new droid revamp coming out next week in Publish 8. I know it's not live yet... but it's ALMOST live, and I wasn't sure which thread to put this on.


Anyway... in regards to the Merchant Barker droid module... is there any way we can get this changed to Advertising 2 as the requirement, instead of Advertising 4?


The reason I suggest this is that it seems more in-line with the advertising line that is currently in place.


As it stands, at Advertising 3 you get to advertise on the PLANET MAP. That's a pretty major form of advertisement that is PLANET WIDE.


When you type /shout, you only get a very small limited area. So it only makes sense that something that is /shouting advertisements should really be a "lesser" form of advertisement than using the planetary map to advertise. Hence, my suggestion to put it at Advertising 2 instead of 4.

I got a question about the new system to unlock the fscs :


As of now, you can unlock the fscs by yourself, for sure the hologrind is boring like hell and kill the game, but will the ability to unlock your slot by yourself remain with the new system ? Or is it gonna become EQG (EverQuest Galaxies) and only people in super/uber guild will be able to become jedi ?

Is there any way an option could be added for dueling
to allow/disallow a DB, and have the code enforce it?

It would be nice to have a sparring session without
wondering if your opponent will abide by a no-DB agreement.

As I understand it, a Jedi Master has a mastery in all aspects of wielding a lightsaber..but what about -2- Lightsabers? The dual animations have been created for KOTOR, and the abilities exist in the movies... Why not allow Jedi Masters to dual-wield? As it stands now, the polearm doesn't necessarily do massive damage, and if Masters/Guardians are going to be forced into a PvP situation, this would be an excellent reward at the top for anyone who achieves Master. The drawback could be, of coarse, additional force cost per special attack..but the standard attacks should remain constant.

I'm leader of a guild on Chimaera. And i have many trouble with creds. We have an economic system, that each players receive each month credits from the leader. Each players, when they make miss give a few cred on the reward...

Maybe, i think, a system for the guild like the city, would be fine ... ?! Something we can take credits, put taxs, make a monthly payement to members...

Ok...I have been telling everyone in the Jedi forum to calm down...they won't do a player roll back...that current Jedi Guardians will remain Jedi Guardians...same lvl/boxes trained as they have right now...but the blue highlighted sentence needs clarification before you freak out everyone...Please answer this in an organized way...of course we realize everything is currently being ironed out/coded...etc....but that statement is confusing. So will Guardians lose xp/skill boxes in the revamp? Will you take the person that worked their but off to be that close to master lvl and roll back bat them down one entire profession? This is the question that has a high priority...and I respectfully ask that it be answered in a timely manner, knowing that everyone is shouting "fix my profession etc.", timely can mean a week, or so...any longer and that sentence will cause no end of panic...even though it is a game. Thank you for your time and consideration.

With all the great new weapons coming out for all the combat professions can you spread the love a little bit for the pikeman please?

Thunderheart, Im just wondering is it possible to get any feedback on what will happen to Jedi that are already high up in the tree's? Say Knight+ and already into the exp that would be considered PVP exp after the Revamp? Even a "We are still not finally decided on whats to happen, or its still in coding but will have more for you in a few weeks" Would be a great response, right now it feels we are being ignored, and much speculation is rising due to this. Please clarify anything you can about this
