I anxiously await your proposal, but I hope that you solicit additional feedback from the community before making anything final. The balance of several hundred accounts hangs with this pending decision.

So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.

So when i log in Tueday i still have to do a couple quests? (Yes, i did unlock post pub 9)

JACKALJOE you have a great attitude! It's quite refreshing, your comments were appreciated. I don't want it to be easy, just not all consuming like holo grinding was.

Also, yeah Star Wars is many things to many people. I just meant when people see Jedi they think Star Wars. When people see blasters or starships they think of things from Star Wars to Star Trek to Buck Rogers lol. It's obviously a large part of the game and is becoming that even more so.

It's too bad they don't have a Non Jedi server for those interested in continuity, and also maybe to see what the game would be like without all this change. Just a thought.

I agree with raising the questions about limbo unlockers (after pub 9) and about which character is force sensitive. At Xmas, when all those holocrons came out, I made a character which I knew I would look at a long time, but the only purpose was to terrorize imps, and grind grind grind...

So I made a female human. Why look at the back of the head of a carpet or a bald spikey top all those hours to grind? I proudly put my guild name as my last name. heh. How gimp am I gonna be if suddenly am the Jedi?

How sneaky can I be, when someone inspects my bio, and sees 100 badges, 32 of which are professions.. Only deduction from a 32 profession badge list post pub 10 is one of two : A) unlocked prior to pub 10, and this char is a jedi! A) crazy maniac grinding 32 professions, when to unlock force sensitivity is to due quests.

Let the post pub 9 unlockers receive the same benefits as the pre pub 9 unlockers. There's others in the exact same boat as me... they had 31 done at pub 9, and just had to do bounty hunter between 9 and 10.. we did that, then built our pvp template.... umm now is that for not?

Since JustG's glorious information at the start of this thread, why not finish the plan, like it was originally stated. Unlocked players before pub 10 get a second force sensitive character slot?

Real opportunity to reach out to the community.

For those that are still grinding, keep grinding until pub 10 is live! I ahve noticed a lot of BH unlocks recently.

Thank you for clearing this up for all of us. I just hate to see things get as ugly as they did for any information to be released.

those of us who unlocked between pub 9 and 10 are also screwed, I asked a csr tonight is it my main who becomes the jedi or do I get to create the jedi on the new second character slot like those who unlocked before pub 9 and found to my dismay that my main with 31 profs mastered, tons of built up exp, who is set so that I can make money crafting now becomes my Jedi and I now have to regrind on a new character the support needed for my jedi character. why did the developers decide to do this?
Guess i just feel bent over by the devs now after 9 months of profession grinding.

Now what about those of us who do not want to tear our main characters apart to become jedi?

If there is a conversion system, can't that system convert our second character rather than our main?

Because of 'broken' promises in the past (combat revamp)? So people are trying to save their >6 month efforts just for any<> case.

I like the idea of what you are doing Devs, just wish something would come out officalliy for those peeps that haven't unlocked yet on thier silent holo prof. I can't ask for to much, so this is good. If a DEV can respond and let us know, that's be great.

Peace to the Rebellion and to the Empire...nay, kill the Empire

We will come out with more info, and it will be fair.

But why not stop the grind right now? Just play! You are going to make it soon enough anyway, and the village is very fun!

The endless grinding for the XP conversion rates is fun?

Based on some detailed conversations with the Correspondents, as well as your feedback, we have already implemented some changes on TC & TC2 for the credit you receive if you unlocked.

As you know, those that have unlocked between publish 9 & 10 will be given all 6 Force Sensitive branches that they need to proceed to Padawan.

Now, based on our interactions with the community, you will also be given the experience necessary to purchase all four boxes in each branch.

So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.

We will announce the proportional credit for those who have not unlocked soon. It will be fair as well.

Thanks,

Logically, the reward for those who haven't unlocked yet should be a lesser extent then the those whom have unlocked since patch 9 are receiving. Those who have ground more professions, logically, should get more of a reward then those who didn't. It's actually very easy to calculate.

There were 32 professions which mattered toward unlocking. The way to calculate what percentage of the reward a player should receive would be to divide the number of professions left to master by the total number of professions. For example, I've masterd 10 professions (11 if I could get 300 more app xp =/). So the percentage of the reward I would get would be(10/32) or 31% rounded to the nearest hundreth.

Being 6 trees needed to unlock, that would translate to 31% of 6 or 1.86. Depending on whether you round up or down (hopefully up though in practice rounding down would probably be more fair) that would be either 1 or 2 fs trees of my choice unlocked with the xp to put into it/them.

That, I think, is about the fairest way to determine what those who haven't unlocked would get.
