Thread: Publish 10 ... holocredit for unlockers.
I anxiously await your proposal, but I hope that you solicit additional feedback from the community before making anything final. The balance of several hundred accounts hangs with this pending decision.
So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.
So when i log in Tueday i still have to do a couple quests? (Yes, i did unlock post pub 9)
woolie (the savage beast)
JACKALJOE you have a great attitude! It's quite refreshing, your comments were appreciated. I don't want it to be easy, just not all consuming like holo grinding was.
Also, yeah Star Wars is many things to many people. I just meant when people see Jedi they think Star Wars. When people see blasters or starships they think of things from Star Wars to Star Trek to Buck Rogers lol. It's obviously a large part of the game and is becoming that even more so.
It's too bad they don't have a Non Jedi server for those interested in continuity, and also maybe to see what the game would be like without all this change. Just a thought.
Guess i just feel bent over by the devs now after 9 months of profession grinding.

Because of 'broken' promises in the past (combat revamp)? So people are trying to save their >6 month efforts just for any<> case.

I like the idea of what you are doing Devs, just wish something would come out officalliy for those peeps that haven't unlocked yet on thier silent holo prof. I can't ask for to much, so this is good. If a DEV can respond and let us know, that's be great.
Peace to the Rebellion and to the Empire...nay, kill the Empire
We will come out with more info, and it will be fair.

Based on some detailed conversations with the Correspondents, as well as your feedback, we have already implemented some changes on TC & TC2 for the credit you receive if you unlocked.
As you know, those that have unlocked between publish 9 & 10 will be given all 6 Force Sensitive branches that they need to proceed to Padawan.
Now, based on our interactions with the community, you will also be given the experience necessary to purchase all four boxes in each branch.
So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.
We will announce the proportional credit for those who have not unlocked soon. It will be fair as well.
Thanks,

Logically, the reward for those who haven't unlocked yet should be a lesser extent then the those whom have unlocked since patch 9 are receiving. Those who have ground more professions, logically, should get more of a reward then those who didn't. It's actually very easy to calculate.
There were 32 professions which mattered toward unlocking. The way to calculate what percentage of the reward a player should receive would be to divide the number of professions left to master by the total number of professions. For example, I've masterd 10 professions (11 if I could get 300 more app xp =/). So the percentage of the reward I would get would be(10/32) or 31% rounded to the nearest hundreth.
Being 6 trees needed to unlock, that would translate to 31% of 6 or 1.86. Depending on whether you round up or down (hopefully up though in practice rounding down would probably be more fair) that would be either 1 or 2 fs trees of my choice unlocked with the xp to put into it/them.
That, I think, is about the fairest way to determine what those who haven't unlocked would get.
