I'm not complaining, but people use to ask for a "sting" to deaths, then when they got it, they didn't want the "sting". I could care less either way, but are people ok with "clone wars" now as opposed to "item decay attrition wars"?

Sorry for the liberal use of quotes, I must be in some wierd quote funk today

What people are saying about Bulwark:
Bulwark.....simply brilliant.
As much as i would enjoy forcefully inserting Bulwark into a wood chipper, he has a point.
We've already went on record as saying you're fine with us Bulwark.
greatest... post... ever...I lay down my mouse and keyboard at your mighty postingness.
Bulwark, that is the best post ever!

While that is good news i have to wonder.
Why is it that any time we ask for something and a responce is given 90% of the time the phrase "It's difficult" is in there. No one asks if it is hard or easy just that if it can be done. Saying it's "difficult" or "harder than we anticipated" makes the team sound lazy or like they don't know how to code the very game they created from scratch.
Just an observation...

Simple, because some things are not a easy to modify as, say, swapping out spark plugs for better gas mileage. Instead, it could be like taking out your unleaded engine and replacing it with a diesel engine, then modifying the rest of the vehicle to work with the different engine. Sure, it can be done, but yeah, it's going to be difficult and, will there really be enough benefit to make it worth the effort?

I just want to give thanks to the dev's myself.

I have been pretty harsh on them about this subject... and I still don't believe that we got a answer as to why clothes can still be worn at condition 0??... but ::shruggs:: take the good things when you can get em.

and for the guy who said it was a screw-up and that we just couldn't wait... well.. mad props to whoever stayed up all night and coded... but we could have waited... if we had been told up front what had happened, and why things were going this way... instead we got a bunch of half-truths, and misconceptions... THATS why we were upset.

thanks again dev's... good move!!

What about armor decay? Armor gets that double decay business which needs to be resolved. You take some punishment and it decays your armor, then you die and it decays some more. If weapons don't decay b/c of the "double decay" issue, then why armor? You can use the "well, we want armorsmiths to be able to sell more armor" but what about weaponsmiths? Hell, armorsmiths sell their armor for a lot more than weaponsmiths sell their weapons. I say, make the armorsmiths lower their prices by lowering the demand (I've heard of a full suit of composite armor selling for 450k credits on the Corbontis server...and I don't think they used more than 5k to 10k credits worth of material--though I'm not an armorsmith so I don't know for sure, but this has to be close to right.)

You know, run some freakin' missions and be thankful for once!

It's not like fighters don't have a free money source. On Dantooine that takes me about 3 hours of PvE to get 450K creds with regular mission terminals. No sympathy here.
