I'm not saying they should be allowed to be used to farm Holocrons, or any other Rare drops for that matter. I'm not saying I want to use 3 AT-STs. But the work and time I put into getting it should be WORTH it. Especially, when we are so outnumbered as Imperials.
An "ambush" is supposed to be unexpected. If you enemy is smart enough to suprise you, they deserve to win. And just because we outnumber you, doesn't mean you deserve any special treatment. There are newbies every day looking to join a group. Show them how great Imperials are (laf), and I'm sure they will follow you. Oh? What did you say? They don't like rapists, terrorists, and tyrants? Oh, I'm sorry. Guess we get another one!
I think one way to get the devs attention would be for all Imps to just stop participating in the GCW. As it stands, theres really no reason for us to even bother. When you have a server like mine (Corbantis) that is overridden with rebels, theres just no balance to the game. The cold hard fact is that there will never be a near even ratio of rebels to imps. People want to be on the side that wins, and it just doesnt help when theres these movies that show that the rebellion wins, not to mention most people dont want to be on the evil side of things. How fun will it be when most everyone goes rebel? Who will there be to fight anymore? If you go to my server you will see that most of the time imperials get beat down because of the sheer number of rebels to imps, now we dont dare use our AT-STs in PVP because its just not worth the faction points to lose it in 10 seconds to a commando. Rebels on my server wander around overt in theed, go to the imperial base on talus and kill off every NPC and overt player for fun, when you could take over faction bases, well, they took them all over. They even hang around the Emperors retreat easily killing off the NPCs and newbie overt players. Until people realized the bug in resetting base timers, almost all imperial detachment HQs were destroyed, including our own. It was a nice sight to see when 30+ Rebels showed up on our doorstep to crush all 5 of us, as it was 1AM and nobody else was on. I dont harbor any ill feelings towards them, infact i made a friend that day with one of em. But the cold hard fact is that this game is completely backwards to how the time period of the Star Wars universe should be. Rebels point out that there is no equal faction pet to the AT-ST on their side, but you also forget to point out that the Empire is quite powerful, very wealth, and can pretty much take what it wants. The rebellion doesnt have the resources that the empire does, but what the rebellion does have is numbers. Believe me, the rebels on my server are tough, i know a lot of em, and in the past month they have become so organizedthat if it were more balanced it would becool, but with our small number of imperials, we just cant keep up.
Basically what im saying, is that if everyone goes Rebel, whos there to fight anymore?
A few personal notes on this change.
AT-ST's are fairly powerfull and I have spent many a day on my back because of one during PvP. I will admit that in PvP i am fairly pathetic. This keeps them far more powerfull than the Rebel pets and rebels cannot have 3 any more. So let us add to the fact that rebel's now have 1/3 the power Imperials have if the imperial does not have a Dark trooper or AT-ST.
In factional PvE the AT-ST is still king however and you should have no problem mowing through that poor happless rebel base.
I do agree with the comment that CH's should not be responsible for factional pets. However, Squad leaders who have skills that dont seem to work but are Very draining, could use the ability to have multiple factional pets out.
AT-ST's would also make great vehicles instead of pets.. vehicles with guns i might add.

You are correct, and you will stay correct so long as people keep thinking within the box that is the movies that which this game was based upon. Until people start asking, "what if," Imperials may never see victory; simply due to the fact that Imperials, when associated with the movies, aren't destined to win.
Don't choose not to be an Imperial because you see them loose in the movies. Don't choose to be a Rebel because you see them win. Choose a side based on what you define as 'fun,' play it to the best of your ability and imagination, and who knows? You may just rewrite Star Wars history.
Its your chance to make Imperials the "underdogs" of the galaxy!
I think you guys (devs and csr's) are RETARDED! I mean , **edit**????? so what the Imps have At-st's ,the Rebels have CSR's. I say , if you nerf the atst, nerf the CSR! or hey, if ya gonna pretty much kill the atst, at least make the available to both sides for like 900 faction points. What? we both cant have at-st's cause it wasnt like that in the movies, screw the movies! you Nerfed up the game so much, it couldnt even be close to the movies. C'mon guys! pull your great big fat heads out of your asses, and give them a great big shake.

FACTION PETS SHOULD IN NO WAY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH CH PETS. 3 PETS IS 3 PETS, NOT 3 PEOPLE AT YOUR SIDE! IF YOU WANT 3 PETS DO CH, IF YOU WANT 3 TROOPS DO FACTION MISSIONS. Don't compare these, they are not the same. I don't care if they run on the same system its not the same. I agree with 1 at-st for balance, but don't compare it to creature handler and do it for reasons 'it makes CH more unique'
