Sorry I did not read the posts so if this is posted already, I apologize.


I think there should be new faction wearables. Considering the many types of Imperial and Rebel outfits/armor/etc in the SWG, a major update with new reward faction wearables should be added.


Each day I hear "man I want scout trooper armor" or "when do you think we will get the rebel trooper helmet from A New Hope?"


These things are high demand by all us players Imps and Rebs alike, and I really think they should be put into consideration for future updates. Alot of faction theme parks do give some Ok items, but something that people want would be even better.


For example: The Emporers Retreat - Each story line npc should give something as a "great" reward to players for the last quest/mission they give. Lets say that maybe, once the Emporers missions are done, he would reward you with an Imperial Guard Helmet, or Septor? Just a thought and it would make alot of us happy.


Anotheridea reguarding faction items to consider, is what about having new items unlockable for higher ranked faction players? Lets say an Imp that has the rank of General will be able to unlock a Black officer outfit? Just a thought, I hope you Dev's consider.


With all respect for a such a great game, and I am sure Im speaking for alot of other players. Please take these thoughts into consideration.

C'mon...since when do Bounty Hunters NOT use thermal detonator's, give em the certification.


Better skill-enhancement drops and more furniture and decoration items.


Also more color customizing for armorsmiths.

Idea 1:


Regardless of what we get, whatever we get as a quest reward should be something unique and "special", in order to keep it as interesting, fun and rewarding as possible.


As a solution to this, I really like the idea of a single-use schematic for our crafters to use. The schematic could be consumed upon use, so a new quest has to be done in order to make another one of the items.


If any master tailor, armorsmith, or weaponsmith can make said item on demand, then there's bound to be gaggles of people running around with those items. Why would anyone want to spend tons of time and effort questing in order to get something that's still relatively mundane? I wouldn't.


Idea 2:


As for what a reward item would be, personally I prefer simple clothing that looks very unique and exotic. I don't like to wear armor in the game. But, I do like to look unique and interesting... not your every day Joe with a cold weather jacket and reinforced pants, that were bought from the master tailor on Pinneedle Lane, in Theed. In effort to keep crafters in the picture, see Idea 1.


Idea 3:


Have quests that add additional character points to our character's maximum. Like 1 point per quest. Having to spend a week or more finishing a quest for a single character point couldhelp keep it more balanced. We could just cap amount of extra character points a person could get, at 15 or so. That way, you'd never see a character with more than 265 character points, and anyone who had hit the cap at 265, you'd know had spend an awful lot of time questing.

I like the Uber schematic ideas as long as they are indeed rare, and are indeed uber (and limited)


I also like the idea of having more and BETTER skill tape drops (also possibly change the armor ones to be inserted in the final product lets face it you'll never, or likely never find 2 exact enhancements to insert in armor segments).


Thats what I'd like to see.

I’ve been playing SWG since mid-beta, and I think I have some decent ideas for rewards that I’ll throw in here. Before I do, I’ll say that I’ve been playing MMOs for awhile now, this game being my fifth, and I’ve come to realize that there are certain axioms which govern this genre. One of these is:

Items with cool particle effects


Unlock some skill points


Access to locked areas with high quality resources or high payout missions


Profession specific trials with related rewards


Powerups that provide particle effects and/or sliceing effect


Skill tapes


Cool titles


Unique clothing


One free rank


A one time only bomb that will kill any creature in the game.

I would think a very easy and desirable item would be uber skill tapes. The harder the quest, the more outlandish the stat mod. You could easily control what you were giving out based on quest and you wouldn't heart the crafters. Might actually help the tailors as people seek out more slotted clothing.
