This has really mad the game suck, are Imps really supposed to stand by and watch Jedi's openly fight out side coronet starport??? This needs a re-think dev's and soon or poor old sony will be loosing quite alot of subscription me thinks!

Please /beg rethink the Teff's Dev's is agonising to stand back not being able to do anything!!!

I had a jedi following me around on dath. Thats just wrong. The crystal hunting is breaking another aspect of the game.

I would find a mob and then the jedi on my tail would quietly dismount and do his thing. Like a sloppy cop he was following from a 'discrete distance'

No aswer to spatial messages or /tells, the jedi like many others had a goal, crystals.

I was just a flygetting in the way of his grind to him....and to other jedi. (reads: most jedi are dismissive of the general population like the devs that empowered them)

It took this one particular jedi a few mobs to figure out that both my chars are speed capped and he was not gonna suceed in stealing our kills.

(still he almost succeded)

For real now...a jedi on a speedbike shadowing other non-jedi players so the non-jedi can find and tank the dangerous mobs while the jedi hop in to get the loot...

What happened to jedi honor?

it went out the door with a system that allows hard working players to stand by and watch...

as uBeR L33t jEd1snobs who spent their gradeschool afternoons tumbling and macroing 32 professions to get to that point,

run around like a bunch of 3 -year olds in super-friends underwear swinging their glory around.

Obviuosly many jedi worked VERY hard to get there. I know a handful. The LAST thing they would do is what I just described.

I am overgeneralizing to make a point here.

It is a CERTAIN BREED of jedi that I am talking about.

SADLY, they seem to be the MAJORITY.

I used to want to be a jedi in this game. Now I look at what my peer group would be made up of if I do and wonder....

I lost all respect for about 90% of jedi after Tuesday's patch allowed them to show their 'true colors'

I had no idea that the old TEF system was keeping so many schmucks at bay and out of the spotlight.

If people want NOT to be teffed in Starports they should not make a Jedi character - simple as that. I've said it before and I'll say it again - If you can't handle the way Jedi is supposed to be ie. hunted by just about EVERYBODY then don't play Jedi at all. Anyone playing Jedi ought to go SEE THE MOVIES, read the Star Wars Expanded Universe books and read up on the Jedi as a whole from any source they can get.Then they'll see it makes sense why they have to hide and cower on the dark side of Endor to have some quiet time for themselves.

there are jedi out there who are not roleplaying their jedi. there are others of us who will stop sttacking a lair to tell another player "Your presence here places me in potential danger" i worked very hard for my jedi 30 professions in 9 months. my only complaint with the new system, besides the no tef issue, is the -200k xp we suffer when we die. without armor the xp grind is a little more tricky. i have died twice now since the patch and having -70000 xp showing is a very disheartening experience. that is just my opinion, not that losing a skill box or perma death is any better than losing xp.

I agree on this. As I see it, Jedi are supposed to be hunted, so why would they be hanging around in cities? Why would they not be teffed for using a lightsaber in front of those who are supposed to be hunting them?

I also agree that there's an awful lot of kill stealing going on with Jedi in the groups. I was grouped with 3 other players when about 10 from another guild showed up to take a kill away. 3 of the 10 were Jedi. Nothing we could do.

Also what is gonna happen with patch 10? Since now the only way you can PvP is if your a jedi and patch 10 comes out in what 2 months maybe. alot of people that play mostly for PvP are gonna get sick of it and leave. Also those that stick around and try to do the quests so they can compete will come to find out it is gonna take another 6 months to complete those (90 dollars and who knows how many hours + $30 for in between now and 10) I can see alot of people leaving, Which will be a good thing since it wouldbe a wake up call to SOE and maybe they will do something to benefit everyone Instead of a very small percentage of the customer base.

If I wanted to see nothing but jedis playing in a "star wars" enviroment then I would be waiting for Knights of the old republic online. I have not met a Jedi worth spit since this publish launched. All I have seen are trash talking griefers. My bounty hunter got bent over and handled like fresh meat in prison, without even so much as a reach around. Why is this game suddenly all about being a jedi? I don't want to be a Jedi I want to kill them. However it seems to keep getting more and more difficult. I'm not waiting around for this magical "combat system revamp" that's gonna fix all our problems. You guys cant even fix minor systems without creating more problems. Now you think you can revamp an entire games combat system and its gonna make eveything all right? More likely we are gonna be paying you to beta this system for the next six months to a year. Forget that. I'm canceling my accounts and running for the hills. Perhaps after this stuff is fixed I will come back but not before then.

so far im pretty happy with the way the game is turning out as i know there are gonna be bugs then patches to those bugs that has bugs and so on. it is an endless ordeal but i feel the dev'sare doing a good job.

as the saying goes u cant please everyone all the time. i love the game and i try to accept the changes and move on.

now the biggest upsets i have seen is and would like to see changed or redid.....

1. the gangs of jedi's hanging out in front of the star ports flashing a LS. this is just wrong fromthestar wars movie point of view. the game's timeis taking place while vader is second in comman under the emporer. ok, remember during this time the emporer and vader was purging (killing) ALL jedi in the galaxy. so most jedi were not going to flaunt the fact that they were one.

im not saying to punish all jedi, but yes give a TEF to those who hang out inside the city or right outside its walls flaunting to all they are jedi.

i have nothing against the jedi who treat the profession the way it should be and they should not be punished with a tef flag while away from cities grinding out their profession.

2. server lag can be quite horrible at times in cities especially like coronet. today it has been extremely bad.

3. you have a doc buff u then the server goes down and ulog back with no buffs left whatsoever. i guess u could try to time it by when the server goes down but on occasions it has went down at different times. why can we not come back with the time remaining on the buff?

4. all though the jedi profession is nice, dont foget about those of us who may not want to be a jedi and are having fun with the other professions. so occasionally add some perks to our professions. this should keep the game full of all the professions and not just 1 sided like being all jedi.

5. last but not least. please do something about those ppl selling -0 condition items on the bazaar. most of us who have been playing awhile know better but the new ppl dont. they are getting ripped out of their credits plus these0 condition items have no place on the bazaar period.

all in all i am very pleased with the game and even with theproblemsstated above, im not going to cancel my account as i still enjoy playing. i must say i was very pleased to see the decline in "warps" when getting off a bike.
