I've been able to solo all the rebel mission and the neutral missions except the assassination one, but that's not the point.

The changes they made are just stupid.

10 Super Battle Droids guarding an armoircontaining adrooled-on bantha doll is the height of stupidity.

The funny thing is that they made these "fixes" to eliminate soloers like me.

All they did it make it harder for groups because groups are way more likely to agro all the SBDs.

Soloing is the same as always.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I know this is being a little repetative...

Last night I went and bought a brand new set of Comp armor w/ 67% base..paid 350k (and then insured it)

Got a group together for the Rebel destroy mission and finished it.

What did I get?

  • badge..woot!

  • rebel shirt (I cant wear)

  • a schematic (I cant use)

  • and armor that was new..is now 21000/35000

Was it worth it?

(thats a retorical question for the Devs to answer...)

I wish that when the battle droids killed you it was a faction death so you items dont take a lick, maybe put a clone terminal on the ship and a insurance terminal.

Look, TKM's can't do **edit** to anything up there, they just are faster 200 dmg hitters on most anything. Until you go with 90% AND KNOW THAT THE KEY ISN'T TO ATTACK **edit**, then maybe you'll understand the next key, which I am not at terms to say. If you don't know combat professions well enough, Don't consider going up there, 90% Composite and Swordsman can solo 1 ST at a time with a lower level medic using Stim B's I got throught half the level with a wounded medic following in close pursuit. We got to the Hyperdrive Terminal where I was incapped by 2 ST's accessing the console to finish the mission, only to see my incap time (75 secs was more than the timer 1 minute flashing on the screen). And please stop friggin' complaining about Armor Decay, I wouldn't recommend you go up there unless you have a back up set of Composite or Ubese to get enough money to buy a new set of either. Nuff Said, anyway it's hard, but very strategic, it's not impossible you'll just have to learn from your costly mistakes. I did. And I have only tried 3 times. 3rd time was the closest.

Sorry mate but setting the hyperdrive is not almost finishing it. You still have to fix the droid, unlock the meeting room, enable the elevator, get the bridge code, get to the bridge, then reset the engines. That, combined with setting the fuel intake and the hyperdrive, will get you to almost finish it.

The vette is possible, despite what I've said in the past. It seems that there are a few less SBDs then before. Not sure, but it seems to change a bit. Sometimes there are only a few, sometimes a lot. It would still be more fun if the STs fought the SBDs. "`ello, what's this? A little stowaway under the bed?"

Tips for beating the vette:
- Solo it a bunch of times with no armor, no buffs, so you know where to go and what to do. Or just go up with a buddy who also doesn't get upset when they die.
- Get someone who totally knows whats going on at all times. (PM me on Tarq)
- Ranged defense food, dodge food, incap food, synthsteak. all for the droid fixing /meeting room unlock part.
- Once you die. Store your armor in your droid and but on junk armor. I wear the rebel stuff the give you. More for looks than anything.
- The whole group needs to clear the entry floor then work on the red con guy on the lower level star room. While everyone is working on that guy. . .
- The solo artist gets the bridge codes, and fixes the droids, unlocks the meeting room. For the destory misson you need two solo artists, one to do the droid the other to do the fuel intake.

Good luck! You'll need it!

Mate who sits beside me irl when we're playing went and got the ticket etc etc - did the missions la la la to get the ticket for the pilot. This took the best part of about two and a half hours. Joyful - I cooked dinner whilst travelling to the Droid Engineers cave on Lok. How fun was that for me - hmm.

Got the group together - two tkms, master swordsman, two master docs, one tka, one a decicated healer. Master carbineer, master pistoleer, master rifleman, master BH.

Docs buffed us up with 2300's across the board and were met by a few entertainer buffers who did that for us. Ate steak and chips which made me feel great, drank a brandy or two and felt a lil tipsy but then I felt all great and clever.

All albeit one doctor wearing full advanced composite armour, costing 350k a set sliced as well.

We all got in (no bug huzzah) and got to the start - told everyone not to AOE which was agreed. Got to the first corridor to see two rebels in the corridor. I attempted Chargeshot one on a 13k HAM rebel private (which failed three times in a row) whilst the two TKM's made mince meat on him.

Come to the turning to the right where there are 6 rebel privates/engineers waiting - I run back to the corridor to be replaced by the tankers, namely the master swordsman and the two tkms who start their tanking. Volley of shots from the gun bunnies and again the two people able to KD with a ranged weapon fail on all their attempts on the rebel ranging between 14kham and 30kham with resists through the roof. (Where can I get these btw? I've maxed so far at 3400, 3400, 2700. rebel private with 13kham able to dodge six cripple shots in a row when I've got +50 to hit - hmmmm once again)

Then one of the TKM's gets aggroed by the twelve other rebels who turned on their X-ray vision to be able to see through walls and fired their etheral laser strikes of terror at him to which he went down. Our doc ran out to heal him quick but one of the private saw him staring at the floor so incapped him and DBed him. This seemed entirely fair because we were in their ship and they didn't like it. Doctor was running down the corridor. I assume the Db on our doc was because the cleaning lady had only just mopped the floor and he'd left footprints on the nice white floor.

At this point we're one TKM and one master doc down. My first cripple shot to hit, did 123 points of damage....I remember this because it was my first hit in three minutes. Next thing the other TKM goes down because he left a scuff mark on the wall, so the rebel engineers who are all retired special forces members with immortality clothing tapes on incapped and Dbed him.

Next thirty seconds went our way - I hit again, and we dropped one of them, but at this point my mind had gone down to about 4 because all the buffs I'd taken for my mind took a turn for the worse and started to come out of the other end. I forgot that I'd also taken laxatives so the time they were going to last for was only 5 minutes. The real reason was that my compo helmet with a minimum of 68% resist was being hit for 785437539 damage and I was taking 785437532 - but my focus was high so I was okay for as least another nanosecond.

Then our other doc went down. We think the reason was that he forgot to put a credit in the slot for swearing when he walked in and saw the twelve thousand dots on his radar. He was incapped and Dbed by a guy who ignored our rallying shots of doom and terror at him, including, yes, KD attempts.

So there's half of us up, and I'm still alive. My uber mind buff has managed to give me three more mind in the last 7 seconds or whatever so I can drop back and try and remain out of sight whilst hitting F12 (peace) button to the point where I can't see F12 anymore on the keyboard. Doesn't work tho - because I didn't know that when I press F12 in the corvette it means I shout clearly across the entire ship on a covert tannoy system 'I'm in the corridor, I'm trying to kill you all, and I'm not going to attack you through the walls. I'm bent over at the moment so I'm prepared for my rectal examination with your d18 pistols that hit me for 4000 points of damage'.....I hasten to add they obliged and I was Dbed quicker than I could say 'Dbed'

I think another 5 minutes ensued before we were all down and out and running round with our armour hanging round our ankles and heading for the escape pods.

Got out (4th time lucky - go me \o/)

Devs - With ten very competent players who did research on the mission previously to going to find out what was needed and the like, I have to say I'm very disappointed. Being a person who doesn't hologrind for the fun of it and wants to remain a gun bunny (you know, staying in the spirit of the film and all that) I'd love to know how you can justify a rebel private having higher resists than any character in the game normally (when their wearing a uniform and a HAT) with no armour. Can I have this please? Is there a mission where you sign up to work on the corvette and get the uniform of 60% resists stackable with the composite armour of krayt dragon resist granting and HAM) Can't wait til you get that up and running, I'll sign up for that.

I spent the best part of 500k on this mission getting buffed, getting sliced armour, travelling all over the galaxy to be told I'd gone to the wrong place, to get rebuffed. insurance, brandy, food buffs, etc etc. I lost all this through decaying armour (were they only using acid damage on the master crafted armour?) deaths (6) buffs lost through the aforementioned deaths.

What a complete and utter waste of my time, the groups time to which a total of 4 million credits was spent.

I was thoroughly enjoying this mission and for the work I and the group had to do previous to it, the anticipation was there for one stonkingly good mission. \

I expected a challenge, I expected maybe to die. I actually relished the thought of not eing able to complete a mission but having an absolute ball doing it but no - it sucked eggs on levels where all the chickens in the world couldn't lay enough to provide.

One word could describe it but I've rambled on because I've nothing better to do than waste YOUR time. (That's if you're actually reading this - or having a giggle and pointing with the other devs drinking coffee from a vending machine and eating pringles you didn't finish yesterday)

Wo'nt be going back again. Penultimate straw has been pulled. And I've been playing this game for a measly three months. Only thing keeping me here now is my mates.

The Corvette sucks.

It's way too hard. Having a challenge is good, but this is just unfair.

I have to agree, the Corvette is too difficult.

I understand that the objective of creating it was to be a very elite mission for seasoned players, and to have bragging rights if you complete it. But it's so impossible that people who you would think should be able to complete it with ease don't even make it through any further than a few hallways. I was in a team of 8 people or so, plus pets, and we failed. I think it would be better if the ctrl+m for it were a bit more detailed, and I think you should be able to be buffed inside the corvette, you HAVE to be buffed to be able to get through, and it's next to impossible to not die, most people were in full sets of armor with TKM defenses and the super battle droid could literallykill them in one shot. Perhaps this is a little over the top?

I don't know how many of you may have had the experience of playing D&D with a DM who felt it was him against the players, and he had to beat the players. Well, the DM has all the tools and all the power, the DM always wins. Games were never fun with that kind of DM. This is reminding me a lot of that. Has anyone actually enjoyed the Corvette since the difficulty was increased?

You know - I had the exact same thought when I saw the changes. We had one guy in the group that loved to throw these impossible battles at the group - then got mad if the group managed to overcome it and would go try to find something worse. It actually takes a lot of experience beforea DM outgrows the need to be better than the players.
