I ma excited to see these back in place... All I was ever able to get was the Intellect. Cant wait... as others have asked will we be able to pick up where we left off?

I searched the Tatooine desert for many long hours and EARNED my Altruism and Intellect badges.
DO NOT TAKE THESE AWAY FROM ME!
In fact, give those of us who have the badges a friggin' reward before you push the new stuff to Live. We deserve it, we've continued paying our $15 a month for a game that some of us don't even play any more, just keep the account open in the hopes that things will eventually get turned around.
(And no, despite a lot of improvement, they still haven't "turned around" - in fact, things are beginning to look more and move like EverQuest In Space.)

Question about new Hermit quest
I have Mark of Intellect and Mark of Altruism badge on my Valycn server. I am very curious as can we continue getting last Mark of Honor and Mark of Courage when new Hermit quest goes live to finish the last two? So TH,will we receive the item for those currently has two badge when talking to hermit or something?
I remember you said "I've done that before" on post and got confuse due it totally revamp Hermit quest but never gave specify answer for those currently has two badge. Can you please be specify about the people who currently has the two badge like myself and others. I appreciated it.If not, what would happen for those currently have the two badges? You guys will deleted it when it goes live? It'd upset people for those work so hard and very hard to get two badges last year of 2003. I really hope we don't start over.

What happens to the few or many of us who have the 2 badges that are available? I have had recieved so many /tells regading my Altruism and Intellect badges. Are you guys going to steal them from me?
My point is, I spent hours trackng them down and have them. Are you guys going to remove them from players who have them? Or will you change the badge to say something else making my time spent absolutely worthless? I feel you should do something to honor the people who spent the time needed to find these. You claim to honor the hologrinders with credit toward jedi in the new system. Why not honor us? I want my credit toward the quest and I would also love if my badges differed slightly so people would know that I had spent time finding them when the quest was hard to find.

The best and most interesting quest in the game, despite the fact that it never worked properly. As others have said, turn the clock back a year and you will find that badge hunting was all the rage before hologrinding. And with a new quest-based FS system coming into place soon, this quest once again seems to be very enticing.
Has anyone been hunting for these spawns on the Test Center servers yet? How is it?

If you have the badges alread, you keep them. You can earn them again if you like. The new badges will be the same as the old one and the quest won't be gated in any way. The honor however, will have to come from within.

tmf, I have the mark of the hero (as do some others) on TC. It works. Finding the spawn is the hard part, so it even has the old skool flavor intact

I like it that it wont be a random spawn anymore that is (almost) impossible to find but it does make having the badge now kinda dissapointing.
It used to be a great acomplishment if you had that badge, it's like having R.I.S. armor, a badge you gotten after many hours of dedication. Now it will just be another quest that takes a few hours of travel.

So there will be no difference in the old, hard-to-get badges versus the new much easier-to-get badges? In this case, for posterity, I would like to let the record show that I have a pre-Publish 9 Mark of Intellect.

I have the Altruism and Intellect as well. Hours and hours spent searching for them and now everybody will have it within hours. Sad.
