This REALLY sucks ass.

The FS Village went live on the 31st August.. Hence Phase1 active on 31st August.

We have been TOLD time and time again by the Devs and CSR's that the phases are on a 3 week cycle.

It is now the first day of week 4 and we are still on Phase1.

Where the hell is phase2.. why is there no indication of why it is late.. why have the Devs yet again changed something and lied to us?

Are they now realising that perhaps getting Initiate may be too easy and are trying to mess us about to slow us down????

WHERE IS PHASE 2 AND WHY ISNT IT IN TODAY.. THIS IS NOW WEEK4

GuessI shouldnt really be surprised, bugs everywhere so why should they stick to the 3 week cycles?

You do realize that game time stops when the servers are down during the maintenance cycle and thus 3 weeks game time = 3 weeks plus some hours real time? I guess Phase 2 will start either after tomorrow's serverup or the day after that.

Profession: Jedi

  • All bounty TEFs should now be cleared correctly upon death from a bounty hunter.
  • Jedi should now be able to completely clear their visibility after 3 weeks if they don't do anything else to increase it during this time. Visibility is gained when drawing your lightsaber or using force powers for each NPC or non allied PC within range.
  • A Jedi must perform a death blow against a bounty hunter to cause the hunter's mission to fail, instead of just incapacitating them.

  • can you please clarify what constitutes non allied pc?

  • Vendors
  • Unused Vendors - Vendors who go too long without being used will get deleted from the game. The only events that constitute use are placing a new item for sale on the vendor, or a customer buying an item from the vendor. Checking a vendor's status, paying maintenance, withdrawing sales, having offers placed, or accepting offers are all events that do not reset the Last Used timer. If a vendor goes 14 days without having a new item placed for sale, or an item purchased, then the vendor gets flagged as Unused. If a vendor remains Unused for a 14 days, it becomes in danger of getting deleted. When this happens, the player will be sent an email warning. If the vendor continues to be unused for an additional 14 days, the vendor gets deleted. Any items for sale on the vendor, items in the Stock Room, and offers to that vendor will be deleted with the vendor.

  • So, if a vendor's stock doesn't move, and they have a bad month in sales, they not only get their vendor but also their wares deleted. That makes a LOT of sense. That was sarcasm. I think that's a pretty shady way to treat your Merchant.

If I crate up 400 Max Combat Rating R3's and don't sell any in a month, yet keep paying my maintenance and checking on my vendor, you will delete all my droids. That's ridiculous.

I really see no point in you guys hurting (and possibly even crippling) a Merchant for having a bad month.

I hope you folks reconsider this "unused" vendor function. It seems exceptionally, and needlessly, harsh.

If someone pays maintenance on their house, but they don't enter it or drop anything in it for a month, does the house automatically get deleted? NO. Why are you doing this to vendors? I pay my maintenance on my vendor, I make sure it's stocked, so leave me and my businessalone. Stop trying to ruin the game for me, just because I'm a Merchant.

if your not able to just add a single item for sale in a whole month you dont deserve to be a merchant

I like the change to Nym's themepark. I must have stood there for 10 minutes trying to figure why the two guys kept saying the same thing. Now if they will only fix the Imperial Themepark missions where you have to talk to someone, butthey keep attacking you so you are forced to run away hitting `2 just to keep from killing them but stay close enought so that once they stop attacking you go into conversation. There are at least 3 of those in the Imperial themepark. Also, Jabba's themepark needs to be changed so that other people can't kill your informants. I had to do one mission at least 5 times because every time I got there he was already gone. Great job on the Bounty Hunter update. Hopefully this will create more tension between jedi and bounty hunters.

3 weeks in terminals is ridiculous.. I pay per month(because you never know when you want to cancel..) so you'r saying I should spend 3/4 of the time I pay to play doing something else? Ok sure lower my monthly fee by the same amount then too. Because of the P10 system, my MAIN char, the char I've played for 15 months, is now my jedi. The "go play your main" excuse doesnt work anymore.

Based on my testing of this the answer is yes.

As i dont see the phase 2 shift as a "patching issue" then my only gripe is:

    Vendor removal.

Whilst I doubt I will have any problems with having my vendors removed thru no sales or lack of new items for sale, not all people who I buy items from and ask to place on my vendors will feel the same. As a WS, I spend a lot of time crafting custom orders, factory runs, restocking etc, and meeting up with players constantly just to buy forum-won items, looted comps for custom orders etc is simply time-inefficient.

The same applies to items which I might sell via auctions and in-game "off-vendor". I have always been hesitant in delivering items to players vendors anyway as I may not know the persons standing, but now there is no way I will ever offer an expensive item on another player's vendor unless I know them to be a long standing crafter.

Placing an item on "offers" should reset the unused timer. It gives an indicator to the seller that his item won't get deleted via the database deciding so, and gives the seller recourse over the buyer if he uses such an excuse to not making the purchase. I for one if forced to offer an item on someone's vendor will only place it for 24hrs, and if not bought I will take it back. I'm sure the buyer won't be happy, but then that's not my fault is it.

I have 3 main vendors. Armor Sales, Armor Supplies and Special Orders.

Why should I have to masterbate my Special Orders vendor every two weeks to keep it? I gave her a nice outfit and pay her well (365 days maintence.)

As for slow, even with what some smugglers tell me are the best priced AUKs on corbantis - my armor supplies vendor has gone without making a sale for 10 days.

Already I have had 2 vendors deleted (both were manaquins) no emails were sent. I had alt's make offers to the vendors just to see if the offers get screwed (and they did.) Hopefully these notes mean the emails have been fixed. Honestly it's BS --the flaming hoops setup for merchants suck.

why the heck is everything that is dropped to stock room on a 30 day timer if vendors delete in 2 weeks? Didn't it take merchants months of whining to get 30 days?
