2. To expound upon the general guidelines, you may not harass other players.
Harassment is defined as specifically targeting another player or group of players to harm or inconvenience them. Harassment can take many forms, as it goes to the state-of-mind of the person or Squad on the receiving end of the action. However, in order to account for those who are more sensitive than others, the CSR involved will make a determination as to whether or not thereported issuewould be considered harassment and act accordingly.
Jedi get nothing. BH get money. And get to multi kill targets again and again and again. Destroying armor, and equipment. Causing skill loss.Frustration and agravation are all that is left for a jedi.
Harrassment will not be tolerated. Unless you play a jedi. Then it is ok.

Clearly there are some bugs with this system. I'm a jedi, and I'm all for Jedi Bounties - but if the system lets a small group camp another player (jedi) back to novice 0,0,0,0 ... something is wrong. ![]()
Here's how I would think the BH / Jedi missions would make the mose sense:
- Several BHs can get missions for the same Jedi
- If the Jedi dies: all missions for him are marked as failed and removed. The First BH to kill the mark wins...the others lose out,.
- If the Jedi Incap's (or kills) a BH only that BHs mission should be removed (he failed in his mark...but the Empire may have sent more than one BH out)
- BH friends should be allowed to kill the Jedi without removing that BH's mission (this is the hard one to accomplish I'm sure...but it allows for clone camping and griefing and is a game breaker).
- Maybe it should be thatif anyone who meets the following criteria DBs the Jedi, that BHs mission is marked complete(and rule 2 falls into place)
- Was grouped w/ the BH
- When Combat with the Jedi begins (even if they ungroup for the DB)
- Durring combat with the Jedi (even if they ungroup for the DB)

First thing I'll say to you and your *idiot calling* is that I really hate stupidity, so I'm going to hate on you today. Gee... you need 5 buddies to take on a Knight, eh? Must be nice to not have a challenge in the game. You're content to grief on Jedi players trying to make it out of the Padawan trees with your buddies taking little risk. What are you, some sort of kid? Is this game nothing more than "Hey, let's gang up on Jedi"? You actually sound like a little **edit** to me.
I hope the Dev's eventually make this two-fold. Let the Jedi be hunted by Bounty Hunters as it should be. The Jedi gets their TEF for using force powers, bounty hunters show up to attack, and as soon as the first shot is fired at the Jedi the Bounty Hunter gets his TEF also.
What will this do? This will allow people who support the Jedi (hey, there's a concept from Star Wars. Rebels supporting Jedi??) to attack the Bounty Hunters who are TEF'd reguardless of faction. Cool idea, eh? We can come to the rescue of a Jedi being griefed at a cloning facility by the 2 BH teams waiting for them, we can protect a Jedi we are grouped with by taking out the BH, we can actually even things when 5 of you WEAK BASTARDS show up to take on a Padawan.
I hope the Dev's will allow this to happen, cause I'd like nothing more as a Master TKA to wipe the floor with snot-nosed **edit** like you, Tricki. Grow the **edit** up, and try and think about the amount of work a player puts into being a Jedi compared to cheating (and it is indeed cheating) that character of that work.
And in case you didn't get the meaing behind this thread... I'll simplify it for an idiot like you:

most of the missions i got said "target not online" whenever i tried to use a droid. they were online according to my friend list tho. one time i got1 to work, and everything was going well (droid speeds are great now) until the jedi went offline. i went to the wp anyway, and found a rancor lair exactly in the spot. i wonder if this jedi got a tell from some moron telling him/her thatthey were on the terminal. irked me. one good thing was that isaw 2 jedi from my friends list hanging out near the cloning center at the sp. they played dumb when i commented on their teamwork plan. i prefer to see jedi hunting together rather than one jedi and a bunch of other friends.

- I was under the impression from the movies, books, & previous materials about SWG that Jedi would be the most powerful profession in the game. From what I have seen so far, they are not even close. A gnort could probably take us down!
- All the while I was planning to become and grinding to be a Jedi, nobody said anything about losing XP when you died a certain number of times. Guess this falls into the "the rules of the game are always changing" category

- I never thought the BH missions were going to turn into a BH group hunt of the Jedi - this is not right. BH in the movies never teamed up with their buddies to take a target down; in fact, most distrusted the others & were in direct competition with each other.
- Anything that motivates a player to NOT play with their friends in a MMORPG is a bad thing. I cannot group with and hunt with my friends without the evening turning into a PVP-fest resulting in nobody in my group Jedi or otherwise getting any XP (and I could lose XP if my death count gets too high)

- Anything that motivates a player to NOT play the game at all (like when my death count is at 3) is a bad thing. I have paid roughly $800 playing this game so far & now that I have reached the "pinnacle" of the game I am motivated to not play? This makes me mad.

Obviously, serious changes need to be made to this system.
Some suggestions I have are:
- Jedi TEF should only occur when you use your LS or Force powers around players of opposing factionthat are not grouped with you.
- Jedi should not all be Rebels. They should be neutral until they choose a path at the Knight level or if theyjoin a faction just like everyone else. Also, I see no reason why Jedi cannot participate in the GCW as a faction member like everyone else. They shouldbe able to earn and spend faction points just likeany other profession. There are too many imps that have Jedi they never intend to be Rebel with - this causes much confusion which I witnessed first-hand yesterday.
- If the above is true, BH should onlybe able to take missions for a Jedi who is of their opposingfaction. Rebel BH taking missions for Rebel Jedi is just stupid, and has caused a lot of confusion since Rebel BH usually do not wish to attack someone of their own faction, especially a Jedi. If a BH chooses to be neutral, they could take missions for any Jedi - but there has to be a down-side to this - not sure what that could be.
- BH shouldget a TEF for the faction of the Jedi he has taken a mission for that will last 48 hours - this would make them accountable for an act against a faction. This would basically be an equalizer for the Jedi TEF.

- As a Jedi, I should have some warning that I am being tracked. This could be done with me seeing the seeker droid that has found me or something. Maybe I have a chance at destroying the droid before it reports my position? This could be fun. Maybe when I get a bounty taken against me, I get a system message with some Jedi music that states I feel "a disturbance in the Force". I think there is lots of opportunity to make this whole thing more enjoyable for both sides.
- The BH hunting me should be attackable by me while he has the mission or at least show up as red on my radar so I have some warning.
- Perhaps Jedi should be able to take out missions against BH that are tracking us. This was a suggestion someone else madethat I like. But again, make it rewarding and it can't be a never-ending revenge circle between BH & Jedi.
- The loss of skill boxes has to go if Jedi are going to be motivated to play the game. The alternative to this would be to give the BH a similar skill box losing system so they are motivated not to take missions. As it stands, many Jedi are going to play their Jedi much less which means less targets for the BH, which means less fun for all. I prefer positive reinforcement over negative, so I say the loss of skill boxes has to go.
- Motivate the Jedi to fight the hunting BH by rewarding them with XP if they win the duel.
- The confrontation between a Jedi and BH should be more or less like a duel - not a gang war. I always saw this as an "honorable" contest of skill and prowess where the victor actually felt like he accomplished something and was rewarded for it (for the BH this would be XP, faction points,and money - for the Jedi, this would be XP & faction points)
Hope the Devs fix this aspect of gameplay soon!
