Ive been right next to my mark before and the droid still didnt update, it said the jedi was 3k away at another starport.
As for the 0,0 problem ive never had that happen to me before or after the patch

Havent had the 0,0 issue.
I have had the issue with no TEF on the Jedi mark. Only thing I can figure is the jedi was slain before I go to them and maybe I missed the mission failed message, however the mission was still in my datapad. Failed missions have usually self deleted.
Also had the droid problem with the last waypoint not updating. Seems to go to the last place the ported, logged etc. But not where they are at. I tested this with a jedi friend. He went off and I tried to track him. Found him on Tat and to Mos Eisley but he had moved to the Squill Caves. But Eisley is as far as I got.

Good observation. The 0,0,0 refers to x-coordinate (east/west), z-coordinate (north/south), y-coordinate (up down). Think of standing, facing north, at what we see as 0,0 on Tatooine. Looking level with the terrain, now think of an x-y graph. The x goes right to left (east/west) and y goes vertical (up/down). The third dimension is the one that goes forward and back (north/south). While the game DOES support all three dimensions (think of multi-story structures like large houses and medical centers), it is largely irrelevant when dealing with position on the map. For this reason, we see the x- and z-coordinates on our maps.
I may have gotten the developers' choice of which axis represents which in-game direction mixed up, but the premise I layed out above should hold.
