Now that the back end is done, we willbe doing a UI revamp which will address these sortsof requests.

Hooray!

Oh and give Andy Sommers (or whoever was responsible) my thanks for fixing the Fade Objects bug. That was one of my pet peeves.

As far as inventory sort order goes (my other pet peeve), couldn't they implement a separate tab in the options that has drop down choices like:

First column to sort by : Name

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

If we are not going to be allowed to view vendor reportly, can you raise the cap on the bazaar again?

I'm really really really sick-n-tired of going to vendors that are listed on the map that are empty or full of crap.

Hi everyone

While you think about bazar, dont forget to think about some *categories* like armor powerups, always empty. Please rearrange menus & item type to match bazar, or rearrange bazar to match item type. Also,iIfind the 6k cap is good, just visit our shop

The fix is working fine.

Could you please change the size of the fields of the listings so that the field for the name of the item is larger? The item name is probably the most important field, but it's so narrow, it shows very little of theitem name. Some of the other fields are much wider than needed for the information displayed, so could be made narrower. For example, there is a limit of 6000 credits for bazaar sales, which means only four digits need to be displayed, yet the field for credits is wider than needed to display four digits. Lilkewise, the premium auctions field display only an asterisk, but the field for premium auctions is wider than needed.

It would proably be all right if you truncated the name of the general resource category, or general type of item, since with very long names, it is still possible to figure out what it is. But please make the field for the name of the item as wide as possible.

You can adjust it - just hover your house over the category title and slide it left/right...

make empty vendors have different colored names, like red or something so you know right away if they have nothing for sale

Bug:

While name and quantity is present in the name field on iresources you offer for sale on the vendor, this information is not available in the store-room or offer-room on my vendors.

The thing you should notice is that the commodities markets should be faster and more stable.

Is this what you are finding?

Faster...yea, mostly.

The interface is still too clunky though. If say, I want to see just Rifles, I have to expand "weapons" which then has to load all the weapons into view, then I click "rifles" to see just the rifles and it has to load again. Seems likethe server is still doing twice the work.

TH, if you're skimming this thread (or whatever dev happens too...)......

Theres this kinda like exploit where someone auctions something for 6k, then when you try to place a bid it says the max you can bid is 6k so I can't bid on it. Usually people do this to advertise their business or something so can you fix that so you can bid over 6k? maybe to 10k but you can only start a bid at 6k or something? something, anything......there should also be a feature where you can look up local businesses, something merchants can do on bazaars. Have a tab where it lists.....

Business name

-click-

Info the person wants to give on goods they have........then have a button so you can get the wp for their vendor

-------------

This would really help finding goods besides the planetary map search thing, because that only gives the vendors name and thats really, really broad. Plus make it so they have to relog or update the info weekly so it doesn't give expired info. Another note, it would give more business to people too..more advertisements. Plus, people won't put worthless stuff on there to advertise.

-thats something to add in more vendor patches-

THANKS

With the size of these forums im sure this topic has been touched upon alot before, but i want to post this as it can effect my enjoyment of SWG more than any other aspect of the game.

Im speaking of the endless search through players vendors to find the 1 or 2 items i need at the time. At first it was interesting seeing all the things available at the merchant towns set up near Coronet , Theed or any of the player made settlements. But it has since turned into the biggest time sink and downer of the game for me.

Several times i have spent 2-3 hours or more searching through empty or overpriced vendors looking for specific items. With the current system there is very little or no price competition because it would take hours for a merchant player to find out what his nearby competitors prices are.

Of course the only possible solution to this would be merchant terminals allowing a player to search a planets database for the items they need. They find something they want, they can get a waypoint to the merchants tent/store. Im not a code programmer, but im sure the scope of such a system is large, but given the current system, i think its the only way to save someone from boring endless searching through merchant tents and stores only to find 80% of the merchants are empty or low on stock.

The current modern world is supposedly way behind SWG in technological advancement , but at least i can pick up a phone and call a store to see if they have what i need, instead of driving all over town going in every store to find what i need. To me, this is a aspect of the game thats more in need of fixing than any other.

One thing that NEEDS to go, is the direct item to inventory on offers to a vendor. It makes perfect sense that purchases fromanother persons vendor go to inventory, but on offers, items should first go to the stock-room, then the Merchant can choose whether he want to retrieve it or resell it. Much faster this way, and if we want to retrieve multiple items, we allways have the possibility of doing that with our multi-retrieve ability from the stockroom.

Having merchants that buys stuff from many different suppliers, and resell it to others are difficult enough as it are, if the merchandice have to move through our inventory first. Also, if you get someone to sell you resources in stacks of 10k, so that you don't have to partition them yourself, when you accept the offers, all stacks of similar names are once again returned to one large stack, and you need to split it again....this is double work, and should be fixed.

Other than that, vendors have worked great lately, not much trouble with vendors from my point of view.

Please, Please, Please Fix Vendor Registration.

How am I supposedto get traffic to my out of the way vendor.

It is just plain dumb. You have a feature and it has never worked (to my knowledge) the way it should.

I don't want to have to log on every morning (which makes me late for work) just to tickle my vendors so they will show up on the global map.

This may not be an important issue to some people, but I'm trying to make a living here!

This is more important to me than a new Combat System (the current one works fine since this is an RPG!!!! (imho))

Once again, Please, Please, Please Fix Vendor Registration.

Thanks, for listening.
