Many Commandoes also report that they are now taking x2.5 damage from melee. This is a result of having moved Commando Hvy Weapons from melee (which they never should have been in) to ranged. The problem is, they were given the max damage modifier against meleers, as if they were rifles (x2.5, which is lame even for rifles). This combined with the fact that ALL Commando specials have a 15m max range is resulting in our certain demise. MOBs we could solo entire lairs of are now killing us in a few hits. This has ruined my gaming experience in one single blow.
Let us hope it was an inadvertant mistake and will be corrected.

That sounds like it hurts.. As a Rifleman and having most of my mission mobs warp ontop of me once I've fired my first shot I know about the 2.5x melee damage. All I can say is welcome to the cloning station every other mission ![]()
As far as bugs, I haven't been able to play since Tuesday.. My main concerns revolve around the CH Profession. It sounds to me as your "Intended" fix to missions on Adventure Planets has backfired and totaly pe-od all professions not just us CH's. Granted we were the ones able to solo those lvl60 missions the easiest. There have been plenty of great ideas on how to fix the missions.
This is a BUG since this patch was pushed. You all need to look at the missions system and give us CH's a break, our pets are our WEAPONS! Calculate missions by the Groups Collective Level. I know it can be done!! EQ Does it now with the brand new expansion, LDoN.. You CAN level mission by a groupd collective level. So once again as a CH with some people and my pets in my group I'm able to get the lvl60 missions again. This is a BUG and needs to be fix ASAP.. Alot of players are going to go broke FAST and then where is your precious economy? The Crafters are making more expencive stuff since the harvesters cost more to operate. But your Crafters customers have no money.. DuH!! Wake up Q .. This wasn't a good thing mang!
Just fix the dang game and quit NERFING The hell outa everything!! Jesus.. you guys are on crack..
You need to fix your Quality Assurance seriously. If I had released software like this, not only I would have lost my client. I would have been sued. You need to establish a bug tracking system that works with your software release control system. That way when your are testing you know what your are testing and you are able to do a full regression test. This helps things that are fixed stay fixed. Second, you need problem reporting system that gets verified and to your Development for fixing. Problem Reporting systems helps organize problems using what resources you have available. You can have you customer service agents collect and enter this information into the system. The data gets correlated to help narrow down to find the problem areas fast.
I been working in the software support business for over 10 years you seriously need help establishing a system contact me.

I would like to second, third or 4th this post as well. I was a beta tester as well and it's frankly quite disheartening to see things that should have been killed over 4 montsh ago coming back to haunt us in virtually every patch.
Guys c'mon, we need you to be a bit more forthcoming with us that you have been so far.
I am on the verge of chucking this game. The reasons have mounted since day one. SOE decided to release the game AGAINST our recommendations as Beta Testers. It wasn't and still isn't, even close to being in release state. Now we're paying to beta test. I wouldn't even mind that so much if ya'll had asked us beforehand if we would pay to beta test. I would have had to have thought about it, but in the end I probably would have and my personal frustration and aggravation level wouldn't be anywhere near what it is right now.
We are your customers now, we WANT you to succeed. We also want your game to succeed and to be the best thing out there. But guys, ya'll need to talk to us, you need to give us a bit more feedback than what we're getting. I know it's tough, but you can do it.
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but the Borvo missionsare apparentlybroken. I gave him the briefcase from Coronet and he replies "Good." Any subsequent attempt at conversation gets me "Next" and that's it. Moreover, it appears that I can't get any other missions because I'm still working for Borvo (or the fellow in Coronet, perhaps).

These AT-ST were bought before this patch and the stimpacks were made before the patch as well, if that makes a difference. I tried this on 2 seperate AT-STs.

Read that "status" post and discovered it was woefully inadequite and misinformed. Shall I list the problems that I myself have encountered even though they've been posted and observed by many others yet you refuse to pull your collective heads out the sand and realize? Yes, I think I will.
Heavy weapons users take 2.5X Damage from melee. If we could do specials out to 64m like everyone else, hey not a problem, but since we have to be within 16m to use them... oh.. did I forget to mention that mobs melee range is 15-16m?
Armor doesn't work at all. Not a little, not every once in a while, not the usualy body hit hole we're all used to, NOT AT ALL. If I were so inclined to throw a CD of an MMORGP at some one in game, and that person happened to be wearing full Composite/Chitin/Ubese armor they'd take full damage.
Tusken rifles have been bugged to energy damage for a while now, WHY?
Spraysticks have been bugged to energy damage for a while now, WHY?
PvP has been reduced yet another 75%. Don't see it on your internal test server? Well if all these wonderful bugs we have now didn't show up there and you thought this would be a decent patch, why do you think you'll see the problems we're having on live servers? Its not a clerical error, its been reduced to a whole 6.25% damage.
I get buffed by doc and take spice, get killed, can't get buffed by doc since I'm "still buffed" and can't take spice since I'm "still under the influence of spice." Buffs are gone(stats most likely **edit**ed up from spice), and I'll soon get incapped from the spice downer.
Gee I'd love to call my pet while in town/camp. But since all I can do is Store it I'm a bit miffed, when did that little critter get out? He must be invisible. Wow I know have an uber pet that can neither be seen nor show up on radar. Too bad he doesn't do anything but follow me, I think since I can't see him and I never see any damage from him. So now I have a pet that no one can see, can't attack it, can't be attacked by it, I think its following me since I can't see it either- you know I'm begining to think that its actually still in my datapad and not in the world at all... but why can I only store it... hmmm...
The list goes on much more... but I'm sure you get the point. I must cut this off now lest I use words that will surely be seen as nonconstructive but will let me feel better.

I'll maybe repeat things but thats ok.
DNA sampling is totally borked.. ALL creatures aggro on you 100% of the time regardless of success or fail.
Crafting Bio Strength and Cognitive Enhancers and other stuff like thatdo not show bonuses at time of crafting. However, they do show it at the time of adding it to the component. EXAMPLE: craft a bio-strength enhancer.. you don't know what the bonuses are. Then make a protato or soypro - you then see the bonus when that item is combined and the bio thing is added. Also - there are NO negative effects. (leave that in if you like)
The "Operate Machinery" screen on harvesters has screwed up colors and looks like it was done by a pre-schooler.. very annoying..
You can NOT manufacture micronutrient supplements in a factory. It goes in your datapad but can not be added to a factory.
I forgot to add droids arn't making noise anymore....not that important....just thought you should know.

Especially with the EXTINCTION of graul maulers.
If you're going to take away animals PLEASE offer something as an alternative.
And if you want to prevent seeing 30 graul maulers and other creatures of the sort from running around Theed offer SEVERAL alternatives rather than making ONE pet that is worth any attention whatsoever!
I know CHs can have an unfair advantage is some situations, but taking ALL OF THE FUN OUT OF OUR PROFESSION IS NOT THE ANSWER.

Don't know if it was already mentioned as I don't feel like reading through all the posts today. Anyway...
There is a new group bug. Last night I was playing with a friend on Naritus doing missions together. Here's a step by step.
1. We both got missions to the E and NE of Dearic, I had two guf drolg destory missions and my friend had a vynock and a NPC destory missions.
2. we did my friends missions first as they were the closest. Suffered a MAJOR lag spike during the first mission and got caught in another lag spike while traveling to second. I actually didn't get to help with the second mission due to the second lag spike. In both cases I got the 'mission complete' and got half the reward. At this point we didn't notice anything unusual...other then the lag (note: we both have cable)
3. My first mission was close by and after completeing it I noticed I didn't get the 'mission complete' message or any reward. I asked my friend and he said he did get the message and reward. thinking it might of been a fluke we just went to my second mission. Got the same result.
4. At this point I went to do bug report...but he CSC was down. So to test the extent of this bug, I asked my friend to let me bleed/kill the lairs to my missions, as she was doing the bleeding/killing before. And thus we each got two more missions, in the same direction range.
5. This time my two missions were the closest. Again, I didn't get the complete message and reward, but my friend did. And yes...I did bleed/kill the lairs myself this time.
6. We go to my friends missions. This time...it turns out 'she' wasn't getting the complete message and reward for her missions, but 'I' was.
Ourprofessions/race for recreation purposes.
My character is a Male Trandoshan Novice Brawer (working on Unarmed and going for TK), Novice Marksman (pistol only), and Novice Scout (exploration line only). the whole time I was working on unarmed.
My friend is a female Bothan just below getting Novice Pistoleer and Novice Scout that I know of.
I don't know if the same thing happens when soloing missions...I guess I will find out today.
