Narutos: Because in order to gain politician xp you must be the current mayor of a city and in order to run for mayor you must be a resident in a city. Do you think people would let you join their town and let all your voting back join their town in order for you to gain XP? I think not.

you know what that was a good idea blair but maybe you should have taken a pool for the starting planets and allow people that were ready to place a City Hall do so. I have been to 1/2 of the city hall's on naboo and maybe 1 or 2 has more then 5 buildings...our town has been ready for about 2mons. and we are stuck out in the rain.

Who is listening to you? Not the DEV's, because, sadly, thread after thread shows there are no responses from them. Just the original post. So are you going to get any of your concerns addressed? Probably not.

If you want to get a response from a DEV, make a new thread complimenting them.

ok excuse me if i seem rlly pissed or a jerk in this message im just rlly pissed...but devs i have to say im rlly frustrated at you. sometimes u can do wonders making a game look good, but you never think it thru good. i mean honestly u didnt think the 10 slots per city wouldnt fill in a few hrs? i have been personally drawing up city designs and city laws for over 2 months, and i was very excited. the 2nd the patch hits i cant even log in for 2 hrs due to thw the login problems. weni do log in all city slots r taken. this is extremelyy dissapointin i must say u had a good thing here but im sure its pushing some other ppl who waited and cant place a city hall to the edge. the least u could do is stop those little 5-8 player cities that r wastin city spaces, because i personally have over 20 wookiees rdy to move into mine (if they ever can). at least do something about those jerk guild and cities who create 2 cities in a area (like fs caves) to take up slots and stop other ppl from movin in, etc. the dko and dko rogue outposts on dant on lowca.

here is how caps should work;

Outpost cap at maybe 35 give everyone a chance

2nd level cap at 30 give those people that are progessing a chance

3rd level cap at 20 you start to specialize only serious cities should be allowed here

4th cap at 15 now your getting exlusive these cities have what it takes

5th cap at 10 the original cap only 10 major cities per planet

This solution helps both parties, Devs by not having a whole planet taken up by cities and players by having everyone have a chance to set up a city

although my views count very little, I'm only digusted with the fact that a city with 5 residents was able to place a city hall and the city in which I spent 2 months on waiting for the patch to go through, which has 50 residents waiting for a city, cannot place on at this time. And then when the patch for more comes through the select few that can actually get on and get the patch will place theres with 5 people and keep it from happening again. I have worked months and this city with 5 ppl is within 1300m on my our home. By the time the patch goes through they might expand toward our direction which will make it so that we cannot place our city, cause we will be in conflict of the 1000m rule for established cities. I have 50 Guildmembers that have thought of quiting the game just cause of the fact of the work we have all put into making this possible only to find out that a cap was placed and our city hall wasn't. Hopefully the next hotfix will be somewhat annouced so that we might actually have a chance.

Thankyou for the quick responce on the city cap..........and again thankyou all for offering a game of this magnitude.

If you can answerthree question I would be appreciative as well......

1) Is there a limit to the existing cities being able to expand and grow?

A) I read a post saying that onlt the 3 main planets will be able to level up after the patch.

2) is the Propogandist title for the Politician?

B) Haven't successfully found information on that title

3) Would it be possible to add the title "Mayor"?

I was trying to roleplay last night as our cities mayor and no one seems to realize I am a mayor until I tell them that........In considering the roleplaying aspect of this game mayors and other masters should receive the respect of having mastered their skills. However, Mayors do not master a skill.......politicians do. Mayors hold a an office that requires respect among the citizens and other cities. Uless we can actually title our charectors as being the mayor it makes it harder to roleplay at times.

Example: Last night I travel'd to a few planets seeking an audience with the mayor/council of other player cities. Most of the responces were "who are you to be asking about our city?" after I would introduce myself as the mayor things would roleplay out smoother, but for the most part I received alot of yeah ok whatever sure uh-huh............they didn't believe I held the office of mayor at all.

That is nice and all that you decided to cap it and highly understandable. The only problem i have run into is that the cities on my planet and server are not allowing anyone else to join them for fear of a PA hostile take over or you have a PA that has greedily set up two cities on the larger planets b/c the know of the capp. So now my guild is stuck with no city and 50 members. We also have two bases set up, a Detachment Hq and outpost, so we don't want to just pick up and go to some other planet and start a small city. I do hope you raise the limits soon. It is really depressing day after day that we know we could add a new level to our gaming experience but can't because of this cap.

Heh, I see a lot of complaining in this thread, but I'm happy to see that you are taking a slow approach to the player cities. With the lag issues and database issues along with the fact that this city structure is so big, I can see why you would take your time to evaluate the scope of this. Personally from a development perspective it could have been a bad choice to have a larger cap. Test center isn't Live, Test center doesn't Have to work correctly, Live should (in theory anyway) And with the way people really play, having 50-100 cities dotting a planet right after this last patch would have been horrendous. Good job, I want to see things grow over time.....Rome wasn't built in a day. I'd hate to see this game like that.

MY 2 CENTS WORTH.

Ok, Since the developers seem to know it all when they make decisions.

Any notible PA that did not get a city made: Find a small city (10 population). Then elect your own Mayor. When that mayor gets elected, YOU DESTROY THE CITY HALL, and place your own where you want it. It seems now we are forced to do political battles. SO SHALL IT BE SONY. SEE WHAT YOUR IDIOT DECISION HAS DONE!!!

im afraid thats what my guild might habve to do to get a city, and id hate to do that to someone but with 40 ppl waitin on a city and a city sitting out there wih 10 ppl lives me little choice. devs im very saddened and disgusted at ur inability to think this player city ida thru, because itl lead to much ange and chaos wen city halls taken over. again i must say u didnt nothin to correct the problem of small cities taken up slots, u must be wearin some armour that has brought down ur willpower and focus down lol.
