Thread: Vehicle Issues...
This happened twice to me:
I repaired my speeder in town and went out towards a player town and the speeder suddenly dissappeared under me, so I make camp and bring it out again to proceed to my destination, And the damage on it is back, but I didnt get a refund from the garage ![]()

I've alsonoticed that sometimes it is not possible to store the speeder, nothing happens when using the radial menu on the actual vehicle, and in the datapad it only shows "Generate Vehicle", this occurs seemingly at random.
2) Repair and decay not working.... I had a swoop for a few days that wasnt holding its decay at all. It seemed to magically repair itself. Now, it wont hold its repair, I spend money to repair it but the next time i call it out, its back to where it was before.
3) Sometimes after dismounting, the vehicle takes off on its own.... generally 20 to 25 meters away. Has only happened a few times.
4) Warping when dismounting is still a problem. It's a problem with mounts, it's a problem with vehicles. This IS a problem, it's a major game issue, not just a bothersome bug.
5) sometimes when you are on the vehicle - it doesnt really think you are.... the radial menu offers you the 'enter vehicle' option instead of the 'exit vehicle' option. Re-clicking th emenu 3 or 4 times sets it straight, but this is very annoying. It happens in reverse as well.
If you have a speeder on stanby as it were when your doing missions and you die and clone, after storing and recalling speeder it will have full hps again
My landspeeder disappearing out from under me has been *worse* since the hotfix.. previously, it happened *once*.. last time I was tooling about Tat, I lost it 5 times..
I've also run into the "what repair?" bug.. but it hasn't been that devistating since I like to keep it well under a K when I do repair.. it's just the last one I pretty much p-d my money away.. after I recalled it on a "came to town, stored the car, recall" sequence.. the repair reversed itself.. but the landspeeder hadn't nuked itself on the trip over .. so it's supposedly the "real" car, not a dupe.
It's maddening when your 6k from nowhere and get thrown from the car ![]()
I don't think the speeders are storing, I think they just get rubberbanded backward.
A similar thing happened last night, now my bike has never auto stored being a speeder bike. Four of us ported by Eisely and hopped in our vehicles, landspeeder, speeder bike & 2 swoops. It's about 2 - 3km out when one of the swoops auto-stored. Rest of the vehicles including the second swoop remained out.
Today I my friend has her bike again vanish on her heading down from Bela Vistal. Maybe has something to do with speed? Swoops are the fastest and apparently vanishing the most.
Mine has been disappearing about 2 min into combat.
Server: Intrepid
Planet: Tatooine
Location: typically between Mos Espa and Serenity
Scenario: I have two missions. I ride the speederbiketo approx. 75m from the lair and dismount. About two minutes into the combat, the speederbike disappears.
This happens about every third time I enter combat after dismounting from the speederbike.
Vehicle disappears no apparent pattern to it sorry.
Won't store intermittently.
Repairs occasionally poof off too - has happened twice,repair works fine when doing it however when the bike is next called it is back to it's pre-repair state.
Needing to use a camp to call a space vehicle is ridiculous and requires that all players have scout. If a vehicle cannot be called during combat what is the purpose in this???? More camps for the server to keep track of????? It makes far more sense to me to be able to callpets and vehiclesOUTSIDE of cities rather than in them - no more pets on top the ticket taker or on top of players for that matter, and to not require a camp to call either, both as not everyone has scout and as there are many places we cant pitch tents even if we have scout.
