Look at the massive "communication" since they shut the discussion forum down.. it doesnt take a genius to realize, there will be no "improved communication". That was just a line to appease the "fanbois". Real players seen it coming a mile away.

Sure, everything is getting looked at. Even the 60+ page on bazaars and vendors has been read and there is a redesign on the table based on player feedback (I'll be writing up the changes later in the monthall of the feedback has caused a change in design which has pushed the changes to the next publish).

The benefit is that its all in one place and easy to find. Sure there arelots of comments and many posters don't necessarily want to read the thread, but both myself and the devs read it through.

Removing the General Discussion forum might be the most asinine thing I've ever seen a company do in the interests of "efficiency." Yes, it is more efficient to have things neatly cubby-holed into particular categories, but removing the "Other" category ignores the simple fact that you can't necessarily categorize everything. On top of that, it's very, very important that peole with different backgrounds are able to converse and compare notes in a free form manner. Otherwise, a very insular attitude will develop.

I suggest that the SOE staff monitor the global type forums and let player representatives monitor the server and profession specific forums. This will reduce work on both ends and most certainly allow for better communication.

Been here a long time - Things come and things go - This latest board change is hard to justify - I can not find anything - take that with the Must be a member sign in and the deleted posts - if you boil it down you got a control - the DEV want it and they will get it

I have not seen any more communication or less since beta closed and we went live - Its like the VP of the US he is always in an undisclosed location with the DEV's.

I disagree with this as well. Look at what happened with the customization kits crafted by Master Artisans. The MA's said they wanted a change, the Devs listened, asked questions, and changed it. They have been very receptive to input on the Crackdown. The correspondent program seems to be working better now too.

The discussions are where they need to be: profession discussions in their proper forums, civil war and pvp in the GCW forum, etc. Its gotten much more organized.

I disagree, I've been checking the boards regularly since release and I believe the new system is getting things done faster. Given, I did enjoy being about to post all over the discussion boards...I still feel this new system is working much better. Just my opinion.

I think you're wrong. Sure there aren't as many people spinning themselves into a frenzy for stuff that's not being worked on right now but check out the imperial crackdown for example. Player feedback on that topic is changing things daily.

They can only work on so many things at once. The current setup lets them get feedback that they need on the stuff that's actually being developed, while providing the correspondents a chance to bring important new things to their attention.

I don't have enough time to scroll through all the forums to find the proper place where to post this. But since I'min here 10 minutes before end of class, I'll make my post here.

May I suggest having some sort of sub-forum deal. Make things easier to find so posts such as mine can be put in the right thread?

Also, i have a question about the Imperial Crackdown. Will the imperial npc's in moenia ( if any are there after publish) have conflicts with Borvo the Hutt. Considering the fact that quests from the Emperors retreat, I'd hope there would be. Maybe some PvE or PvP depending on whos there in the cantina. That would be cool.

Thank you for your time,
