No offense, but if there is one word you should use sparingly, it's "patience." I think many players are being extremely patient in a lot of areas. You asked us to wait months for balance, we're waiting. You stop giving us monthly events and leave the rebels in the lead for months in the wake of the last event (Cries of Alderaan) where they get extra faction points per kill and "dead-eye", and.. ..we wait.

Patience is an honorable trait. However, when one's patience is taxed over a long period of time, it begins to turn into discontent. You may view many players as whining and spoiled, but I think many of us have been incredibly understanding. Please don't send out blanket statements such as, "Patience, grasshopper, patience." Whether you realize it or not, many of us are.

What you need to realize now is that the "patience" well is running a little low. As a result, you need to work a little harder to meet deadlines and keep promises. Trying to use words like "approximately" and phrases such as "well, we didn't say exactly..." isn't going to cut it for a lot of people.

You still have a lot of good people playing this game. We're still here with you. Honor that. Not a dig; just a simple truth.

The server resets the day after the cycle has ticked off. Again, the value can change based on village load. And the uptime can be affected by unexpected downtime (like maintenance, etc.).

So it really is approximately 3 weeks.

And it really will happen soon.

So instead of 21 days, its more like 21 days 21 hours (figuring 1 hour per day downtime) and then toss in a little more for unexpected downtime - 22 days 3 hours, and then advance to the next server reset. So, 23 days.

We should shift Thursday, yes? Or Friday at the latest.

Does anything really big really happen on a friday or thursday.. i think they will prolly wait till next tuesday and send alot of peeps over the deepend! LOL!!

I dont think they really know when it will happen.. It seems as though the system is almost automatic and runs itself.. Like they have no control over it!

Maybe SWG is SELF-AWARE!!!!

Maybe we will all logon only to see our character dead.. with no clone activation....

For ETERNITY!!!!!!!

Patience? What do jedi know about patience? I have Master Image Designers on 6 servers (all made after the ID mini-publish). Jedi have nothing on IDs when it comes to patience!

P.S. I don't want a Jedi and I don't want to have to waste any of my precious skill points on jedi skills, I just want that second character slot.

My Dream Character would cost 266 skill points to make (Master Entertainer, Master Dancer, Master Image Designer, Master Musician). Unfortunately, I am told that we are only allowed 250 skill points because having more would mess up PvP. Horrors! Imagine the havoc my Ultimate Entertainer Character would create in PvP!

I hardly expect to get a DEV to respond yet i will post this since it has to get of my chest .

Currently while i am making this post , this thread is 4 pages long yet it only has 2 responds from a DEV

and even then the second post is a qoute from the first .

maybe i might be wrong but it strikes me as some very big communication issue here

í have seen threads here over 1000 posts with only 5 DEV responds , this ratio strike's me very under the limit , i know

u guys can hardly respond to every single post made here , yet all we ask is CLEAR and ACCURATE info ,

saying ""a jedi must learn patience"" is crap , a lot of people in this game have been MORE then patience , (no this isnt a flame)

but a fact , we see people around us leaving every day , i think that must say something .

we never asked for a instant jedi / we never asked for some uber god mode , the only thing we ask for is a game that works as

it was suppose to be . and that if something is wrong we can get a ACTUALL and REAL answer , and not an AFK responds

Imo this whole jedi ""quest"" (more like uber grind) thing came out way to soon there we're a lot more pressing issues to be solved

even this JTL thing , u want to make a space adventure yet the ground adventure isn't running for a 100%

But anyway that is besides the point , and does not have anything to do with the current post ,

so back to the issue , we only ask for concrete info and not something that would be like , maybe today/tomorrow/next week

saying the it takes 12452355 or whatever seconds isnt really accurate imo . This game needs to toughen up and it needs to be

done fast , as i am not the only one who feels sad when friends are leaving , all i (and 99% of the SWG-community) ask for is

clear info , and i really hope that this will happen in the future .

As 1 final thing , a community posting about other games in a forum of a game must strike even u guys wrong wouldn't u say

just my 2 cents

now u can flame/1star/ban me all u want u know this is true

Really, why is this not the first thing you come out and say? This is an answer, "We aren't going to say" is not. Someone have a sitdown with TH please.

The answer to me seems very clear, they automated it by a built in timer....

It might seem like pain, but that timer actually works better than having to rely on humans activating it, after all humans make misstakes... at least more often than computers. (At least in this game)

I think they did a good job making it automated, at least as long as they can monitor the remaining time themselves, to make sure it never gets stuck.

And the only thing not accurate in this post is the fact that the loading in the village will most likely change the timer a little making each second perhaps only tick every 1.5 second or so....

This you have to expect as the system does not have a built in nuclear timer....
