Thread: Publish 6 Feedback: Theme Park and NPC Quest Loot

Great stuff. I’m glad that you added the Tie fighter suit and AT-AT suit, we have been asking for stuff like that for a long time.
But I’m disappointed that we can only get 1 and it’s a random either or situation. I suggest keeping those in game as they are and adding a version of each that can be purchased from our recruitment officers that do not have the +5 terrain mod. Then it would be more like the Stormtrooper armor vs reinforced Stormtrroper armor theme award. People could buy a suit from the faction recruiters, yet the more advanced version available from the quest would still have a bonus and thus be desirable.
(Off Topic. Please make faction armor better and player crafted. Having people wear faction armor instead of composite would help the general star wars feel of the game. Thanks)

NPC Quest Loot: Tatooine and Dantooine quests, given by NPC’s have all been given better loot as rewards. Record Keeper NPC’s are available for the static quests on Tatooine and Dantooine as well as the Theme Parks.
What kind of loot did you get and what are your thoughts on the new loot items?
Ree Yees - Mabari STEELWeave pants with decent stats. I'd wear them if my pants didn't have +25 to creature taming on them (my other pair of pants has + to warcry and intimidate)
Ephant Mon - An ad for a singer (painting)
Porcellus - master tailor schematic for crafter's apron (which is okay, only because my best friend is a master tailor, otherwise I'd be a little disappointed)
Barada (in garage) - A little misleading. First mission said, "Here, I had these laying around"... he obviously refers to the 850 creds I got, since the pattern seems to be good credits up until the last mission for each npc at which point you receive a cool material reward. Final reward is a Gamorrean Battle Axe that has *9999* uses of disease and block +5 on it. Too bad I don't have Two-Handed 2. It'll be a nice trophy on the wall, though.
So far, I'm hoping to get something I can acutally use. 1/4 for me as I head up to see Bib.
Bib Fortuna - Romo Vax ("I'm Romo Vax!") is still as annoying as ever. Reward: novice tailor schematic for a demolitionists belt. I'm not too thrilled. Belts in this game don't look right. I had read about a schematic for some sort of cool piece of clothing like a "dancer's leotard." On the positive side, I have a secondary character that can go through this to get more schematics as it's looking like they're random. On the negative side, she's got zero combat skills so will have to go along with a combat heavy character.
Now we're at 1/5.
G-5PO's reward is a schematic for a featherweight fwg5. Well, uhm. Nice, I suppose, but utterly useless to me. I'm TKA/Scout/Ranger/CH. Don't get me wrong, it's MUCH better than previously, it's just that... I have NO use for it whatsoever.
So, improvement? Yes. Credit return is much better and the quests are fun. Item rewards? 1/6 for me. Not too exciting.
Good job, though. I can see the devs tried and this stuff is kinda cool, regardless.
Answering my own question in the interest of public knowledge: My previous request noted that none of Valarian's cronies would give me missions if I met the conditions for the missions -- namely, over 300 Valarian faction, and proper ability to take the mission. HOWEVER, if I equip my LLC, I'm suddenly capable of doing the missions -- namely, I'm over-qualified for the mission. So, they tell me I'm over-powered, and ask me if I want the mission anyway. I say yes, I get the mission. Voila -- short road to -5000 Jabba faction.
Since the only time they wouldn't talk to me was when I was qualified for the mission, I'm going to say that this is a bug. I'm sure it'll shoot right to the top of the devs priority list.

Also, Jabba's gives out a couple of cool paintings, and a schematic for either a Crafter's Apron or a Dancer's Leotard thing. They are worth resetting to get them. They would make a nice gift for that someone special on Valentine's day, hehe.
Now you tell me
I was able to finish all of the Borvo missions today. I got Huff's Rifle and returned with it to Tatooine.
Of course, at the time, I didn't know that the rifle was part of the Darklighter quest. Imagine my surprise when the guard acted as though she was expecting me to return with the thing.
