now its just pointless coz u can only solo it- why bother taking up a group with u, tehy r just gonna die.

1 hour timer i spend 3mins on the corvette because tahts how long it takes to do evrthing i am equipped to do- loot drops-loot dops-loot dops

heres a secret get urself 2400 buffs- mediate if u can- take some +1000 vercupti- pop a pixie+ and 30% damage food and u can solo teh loots

hoping if ev1 learns how to do this they will realise that they have broken brand new content and that corvette should b taken offline rebuilt and rereleased - gasps-

Yup just went up. Nine SBDs in the room where you have to fix the droid. Four in each room with the loot. You open the chest 4 spawn. You open it again. 4 more spawn. Lame.

What was in the chest you ask?

Ryyk blade 98 damage.

Please fix this guys. I really have fun here before.

Yes it has become a joke. What our devs seem to not realize is that all the extra spawns do nothing except make the missions no fun for any group because they a just get killed. Yet any run/heal expert can do the missions and get all the loot.A group at this juncture is just bagage.

Any group just gets killed yet a solo artist can still get it all done. Use the force devs and get it together. The goal is to make stuff fun for the masses not just a loot run for us soloists.

A group of 10 of us attempted the corvette for the fifth time last night.

We all had good armor. 90% of us were elite combat prof. masters. (We had a number of (around 5 - half the group) were MBH, TKM, MCH, MRiflemen, Pikemen, Docs etc.)

We got off the vette in 10 minutes.....

The way the difficulty was increased on the corvette, without even a note of this in the release notes is reckless. Secondly, I challenge almost any group of 10 people to be able to fight up to 12 SBD's at once and a) survive or b) successfuly complete the mission.

Why bother? Whlist before you increased the difficulty by orders of magnitude the quest was not easy, but was actually completable, it's now ridicolus. And how exactly is adding 6 SBD's "content" anyway? I would have preferred you spend the time on making some more quests.

I fully understand the requirement for high end content, but this was not high end content, this is just laughable content.

Walk into the droid room, and even with good armor, 8 of them shoot at you at once, and you're dead. PERIOD.

Whilst I'm on a rant, have you actually got it on the list to even consider providing any content whatsoever for mid-level combat professions? anything at all!??!?! You have to master an elite profession to do almost anything more exciting than piket plains walker missions in this game.

Again, do not even bother adding more dungeons unless you make them doable. Just grab the corvette server off the rack and throw it out the window - it's completely and utterly useless now. And how unfair is it to make the corvette suddenly harder for those that hadn't completed it yet? If you had a group that was good enough to complete it before, they would have completed it before the patch. All you've done is remove more content from those that were unsuccesful at doing it before you upped the difficulty.

Apparently yes, I raised a CSR ticket, they replied saying that it was as designed, the difficulty had been increased because people were complaining it was too easy??

dribbler, its because of people like you that the corvette is now screwed for the rest of us, and what do you do? brag about it? for shame! it is not clever to abuse a system like that, rather you insult all of the players that eagerly anticipated the corvette, struggled trying to find the downed ship to the west on dathomir, fought and diedtheir way through 60 minutes of corvette coolness and suffered great armour decay.

i have done the vette a number of times with a number of groups, never succeeded, but had fun trying. trying to figure out the gameplan was part of the fun. and now? now i wont touch it. its utterly stupid and, like smurfwalker, i was appalled at what a challenging yet seemingly doable dungeon had become.

i sincerely hope that this is a kneejerk reaction to all the dribblers out there and that the devs find a way to make the vette fun and challenging again and not open to abuse

NarcoticFrog, I think your dispersions against Dribbler are missplaced. There will always be loopholes in this type of game. That doesn't bother me. The nice thing about an instanced mission is that it doesn't deprive the loot from anyone else. If he does it 1000 times and gets as many powerplants, it doesn't bother me. Cause I can go up there and have a fair chance to get one myself.

We don't know why these changes were made, so it's all pretty much conjecture. IF the changes were to stop people from running through and grabbing the loot, Dribbler's post shows that the changes do nothing to prevent it, and describes how.

honestly i really dont think i'm being too harsh not are my dispersions misplaced. the corvette is instanced so that groups can go and have fun without having to be concerned about other groups or people interupting them. and HOORAY for it. unfortunately, as you said, there are loopholes and even more unfortunately there are people out there who decide to EXPLOIT the loopholes. the loopholes need to be fixed, absolutely they do, but there wouldnt be such extreme reactions to the loopholes if players didnt EXPLOIT them so much. it only serves to interrupt gamers who are there to ENJOY themselves. the corvette and its difficulty was fun. now its not. and its easy to figure out why.

the problem isnt dribbler, its ALL the dribblers who feel its there job to screw the game as much as possible, then the game gets screwed for everyone else. its unfortunate, it happens, it shouldnt! dribbler was just the one who actually stood up and admitted it.

Unfortunate by true Narcotic Frog... the reason for this latest corvette nerf according to the reply to the ticket i sumbitted was that too many people were exploiting loopholes, so that enemies wouldn't aggro etc. So they added about 50 battle droids (ok i wasn't given a specific number, but when i looked down into the engine room, i thought that was a fair count) which auto-aggro was the devs solution.

My opinion: lazy. There are many ways they could've fixed the loopholes. There are many bugs that also needed to be fixed (eg. as a master CH I am plagued by unstorable pets and pets that can't use elevators or can't follow). But instead of fixing the bugs or loopholes, they just added a whole bunch of battledroids. No work needed for the devs. Lets punish the many because of the few who exploit, without even fixing ANY of the bugs. In fact the addition of the battledroids if anything has accentuated many of the existing bugs and made the loopholes more obvious.

I am disappointed that some opinions out there seem to have more weight. The 'fix the exploit' voice gets heard time and time again, where the 'fix the bug' voice is ignored time and time again.

Battledroids do not equal content, a bug free corvette without loopholes (even with!) = content

I have attempted the corvette three times with groups of ten on each occasionand failed each time. If the dungeons from now on are going to be instanced, why can't Devs modify the dungeon according to each group's unique distribution of levels? That way players can not complain the dungeon is too hard or too easy because it is based on their ownexperience and level of combat abilities.

By basing the dungeon difficultly on the level of the most elite combat players, the Devs are making the dungeons unrealistically completable by not only casual-players (which I am not) but players who have decided to spread their characters by mastering a combat profession and a crafting or medical profession.

I am a Master Doctor and a Master Pistoleer; all out of skill points. I really enjoy being a Doctor and I would hate to have to give it up just because I can not participate in new content like the Geonosian Lab or the Corvette. But this is what the Devs are indirectly promoting.

And unlike some of my fellowguild members, I am not about to pay an additional $14.99 for another character on the same server and make him/her strictly for combat. I sincerely hope that was not the intention of Devs when determining a limit for skill points.

What sucks Trynian is I've taken a bunch a groups up there last weekend and we have fun, are organized, and did great. So I'm inendated with tells to lead groups. So over and over I need to explain that it sucks now.

We'll see.

Agreed. I get the same tells,I spent a couple weeks learning how to do this thing and learning my way around the ship to take groups to have fun. Now its a waste for them. 10 enter and all of them get killed while I can still get through it on the run quick/heal.

I could care less about the loot,I can get that stuff regardless. I want to have fun taking over a ship. I want it to be tough but not belligerently pointless.

A group is a hinderence at this juncture.

So if a few people complain, they will change it. But if most of the communite complains, nothing will get done?

I decided to give the Corvette one more chance. Well we went up, everyone was killed in about 10 minutes, buffs gones. None of us could even get to the droid to drop the part into. There were 15 SBD in the room. One time I made it into the room only to find that there were 2 SBD standing on top of the droid. Yep I died.

300K of armour down the drain. I cloned and before I could even stand up, I was incapped by the droid in the engine room????? I also noticed that the droids are using multi person shots. 3 of us were incapped by the same droid at the same time.

I have been a Droid Engineer from the first day. I have put up with alot of things in this profession that most decide to quit. Well I have never thought of quitting until now. I am not quitting the game just yet, but I am quitting the Corvette.

DEV you wanted to get people excited about the upcoming space expansion by introducing the first space dungeon. Now you have put a sour taste in their mouth and no one wants to play it. Great work, I am so glad that you are using my money to develop things that no one wants to play.

I never heard anyone complain about the Corvette being too easy. All I see are people complaining about how difficult it is. But now you have made it impossible.

Congrats on making everyone hate the Corvette. I have never seen the rebel base so empty.

I die 20 times get 100% wounds 1000 BF for giggle powder?????
If I hadn't stashed all my stuff in a droid it would have decayed to nothing.
