when the game first came out, i remember reading in the jedi FAQ a comment from a dev.
"...don't play the game expecting to be a Jedi..."

man....you guys need to think more about the customer. people have been waiting for the Combat Revamp for a long time and then you decide to push back a year!? bad move....
c'mon, didn't you guys think about this that you guys would lose thousands of accounts? there have been over a thousand posts saying that they canceled their accounts. please rearrange the schedule. just do the right thing, don't make people upset.

What does that have to do with my post? I'm talking about JTL team problems, not Jedi.

Dear Thunderheart,
You've officially made the worst mistake of your career. Thousands of accounts are cancelled, SOE is banned.
You, my chum, have made this game into the worst excuse of an MMORPG ever. Please go back to whereever you came from, and on your way there shut the servers off.
I personally know of over 10 accounts cancelled within my guild, and more to come for sure. Good job, feel proud.
Go fly your X-Wing and taunt Jedi in front of people like they pay you to do, you sellout poser.

Thunderheart, that is definitely dissappointing news. The recent choice to push JTL out first instead of fixing major issues with the current Combat/GCW is mind boggling. It is also setting up the developers for a bad scenario. If JTL expansion isn't incorporated relatively smoothly, then it is undoubtably going to cause a further delay to the Combat/GCW changes. I don't think i even would want to read the responses to a thread that says "Combat and GCW patch delayed until Jan 2005."

that's why they need to stop hiring people from India to develop this game, they are completely out of the loophole with their user base

SOE has made (if you take a pathetically low average of 100k members since inception) well over 15 million dollars a month. A MONTH. PER MONTH. Fifteen. Million. That's just a low-end estimate, since the numbers in sales were given around 300k about half a year ago, and many remaining players have multiple accounts.
100,000 members x $15/month = $1.5 million/month
