I love this.........simply love it. Now Imperials are just as gay as there officers hats! No more easy holo grinds on dantooine anymore.

Well For one, your killing more of the Star Wars feeling by only one faction pet.

I would LOVE to use an AtSt in combat against players that did not die in under 1 minute. I agree you cannot make the so great that 1 person and an AtSt can kill 20 people. But he should do a LOT of damage.

It almost seems that since there are MORE rebels overall, your only catering to them since they pay more overall than the imperials.

The imperials in this game do NOT have supieror technology. We do not have TONS of money. We do NOT have lots of resources. We have a cruddy burning metel gun. We have guns one can buy that are WAYYYY worse than that can be made. We have troopers who can get knocked down and wont get back up. The armor we have looks great, but is horrible compared to even padded armor.

You are making this "lets all be even" rather than giving it a TRUE star wars feeling. The people playing rebels should NOT want to run into an imperial city. They should run when they see an AtSt coming, not scream for joy that they get to kill something so easy.

AT-ST uber-looting and kill stealing? Take the Holocrons out of the loot tables. Devs added them to speed along Jedi development. . . ok, we have Jedi. Those that want to be Jedi and aren't, already know its a profession grind. It does NOT still need to be easier to unlock the FSS. Here's an idea. Why not have current Jedi train new Jedi? Because then this game would be too much like Star Wars.


AT-ST griefing and taking over rebel bases? Move the bases. Hide the recruiters. Store the waypoints for the basesin the memory (datapad) ofthe Astromech droids so I might actually want to spend thousands of faction points to get one.Or you could PUT EVERY WAYPOINT ON EVERYONES DATAPAD (POI) AND WONDER HOW THE AT-ST'S FOUND THE PLACE. "Hey, everyone, there's a hidden Rebel base on Rori. . . at least that's what the ticket vendor says. Everyone got their passport? Its time for a raid." Heaven forbid the base have troops up in those neat looking towers to defend it. How about letting me shoot someone on the ground from the tower if I take the time to run up there? Hidden Rebel bases being defended by turrets and troops? I'm sorry that would make this game too much like Star Wars.


I already have stated my opinions on the AT-ST rebalance and the Commando rebalance and am trying to patiently wait for the big combat fix. I'm pretty much a non-com anyway. I just can't help wondering. . . after 6 months and dozens of patches when does this game get to be Star Wars?

I spent alot of hours getting my faction pet atst.


And us Imperials are way out numbered. Its the only thing we got going for us. PvE or PvP


Why let us use it for so long before nerfing it.?? Fix other things first before you nerf everything.


Ive master most of my main professions. Yet I get the most fun from the atst.


Take away more of my fun.

any one noticing that theres such a strong outcry here and no one is listening? devs wake up you need to stop this 'fix' of the atst before you are stuck with no imperials left in the game at all. without my atst there just isnt much for me to do except sit around and wait for you to fix droid engineer and i just dont think paying another 30-45 dollars while i wait with my thumb up my datapad is gonna happen. there has to be a better fix for both sides then the one you propose but this one is unacceptable to us imperials and you dont seem to really care as this thread has several pages going know with not one peep from a dev or a correspondent, and no i am not counting thunderhearts response about his character is doing as a comment for this problem. there are greater things to fix right now and dont give me crap about how your working on them because you are apparently working on other things like the atst fix. pull those people off stupid crap like this and put em on the professions that arent any fun or pull those proffessions from the game. fix the fact that droids are next to useless, fix the fact that chefs have no reliable way to harvest milk, find a use for the underworld tree for smuggler, these things should be on your radar for this patch, but they arent are they? i am about at the end of my patience with this game, i kept my hopes alive with your endless comments about fixing things but the only thing you seem to fix is stuff that is trivial. i am not going to sit around hunting chubas again because i have nothing left to do now because my skills are still broke.

I hear the faction cost will be lowered, dunno how true that is, but if it is lowered to the rumored 2k fp, then I think the changes would be viable, Only if the cost is lowered tho, then i wouldnt mind so much if the AT-ST got killed, 2k fpis easy to get ,If that isnt possible then at least have vitality work on em, or even 3deaths (3 strikes rule)and they are dead for good kinda thing, which i think would be a excellent alternative and should be included with all faction pets. If they implented a 3 strikes rule then it would be easier to determine when u have to get a new pet, say at2 deaths u know hes gonna be gone the next time he bites the dust so gives you time to save points for a backup for when it does happen, instead of constantly grinding away at fp just to keep your points up in case u need em.

Okay, so you've never had one, but you agree that it can be pretty harsh to lose one. That's astute and I applaud you, but until you've actually worked for days to save up the 9,450 faction points yourself, and then experienced the crushing emotional blow to see it crumble in under 20 seconds, you really haven't grasped the severity or depth of the problem.


When AT-STs are made PvP only, and their utility becomes curtailed, their cost needs to come down ... way way down.


Not in a later patch, but in the same patch.


Unless I don't understand the nature of the coding, it's just one matrixed number to change (the base 9,450 faction point one) since the racial and smuggler costs likely key off that base human cost number.


Otherwise, you've fixed nothing except the Krayt camping (which is a good change btw), and Imperials willcontinue tostore them in order to protect their investment the instant they see Rebel players on their radar horizon.

-AL-Gelo-Lowca you are a retard..if we gave the AT-ST's to the rebels for one month you know what would happen....All the imperial would go commando and love to make all you rebels cry afteryou lose your9000+ FP faction pet in 1-2 minutes.....


I still use my AT-ST in PvP...but im smart about it..i look to see if there is anyone around with a FT and if not then i pull it out and watch people drop....but if i ever make a mistake and there is a commando that i miss...if i dont kill him before he hits my at-st 2 times...game over...so far i have not missed and i never plan to..but i have seee with my own eyes noobs lose at-st all the time....


I would love to see the REBELS get at-st's for a month just to see how they feel in the end when they grind for 1-2 days or more to get an at-st...or if they have no life get one in one day if they play for 18 hours stright and only do faction missions...Then after they get there at-st bring it to Theed...lol and just stand around there for about 20 minutes....and in those 20 minutes the FT's would pop up all over the place like worms out of the ground after rain......and then after some imperial commando fry's you at-st in no time ...you will see why we "Whine"


I dont mind losing an at-st to an attack where 5 people would take out my at-st its war...but when it can be soloed but anyone holding a FT there is somthing wrong......


I agrea there should only be one AT-ST per person out at a time and i agree that at-st should not be used for PvE........((((UNLESS IT FOR DEFENCE)))))...not for holo and dragon hunting....but if you are walking somwhere and somthing agros against you it should be able to help you defend your self...


but so far the at-st is going to be a total waste of FP after the next patch unless they fix it....Why not make the flame DOT only hit once...ie.. primary attack(lost of fuel burning on the AT-ST...second dot(fire is not causing as much damage) NO more damage not enought heat to continue to do damage to the AT-ST...and leave the HAM at 18000..

That is exactly my thoughts about this game right now! I am so sick of people crying to the devs. Yes if someone has an at-st out you should get owned! I don't care what profession you are! It has cannons not just regular pea shooters! And for you commando's come one a flame thrower in starwars is a farce! Yeah you should have rockets but come on. Yeah armor burns after it is hit will a bomb or a missle. Not are flame thrower! In the military if a tank saw some guy trying to use a flame thrower to stop them they would just laugh and ask him if they had eaten yet today. Cause that guy would be there lunch! Hardly anybody uses them in pvp. I just don't understand but never will.

-AI-Gelo-Lowca, I have to aggree that you are indeed a moron. I'm imperial, I have an AT-ST(my second one) and there is no way in heck I'm gonna pull it out for combat in PvP. Use strategy you say? Fair enough, but do you think that every person who can use a flamethrower will have their commando title on and/or have their flamer equipped for us to see that they can destroy our AT? If you say yes, you are an utter fool. Another point to make in this flame... IF the rebels were given the AT-ST many of them would indeed be lost as quickly as you could purchase and foolishly pull them out in PvP, because I know I WOULD drop my profession and take up commando just kill as many as I could for ever so sweet revenge. But that would only last maybe a month before you rebels would cry about it being unfair, and the DEVS would then make it nearly invincible to placate you children. To say we are all whining because we can't farm Holo's, is not only incorrect, it's just a childish argument. MOST of us do not care about holo farming, nor have ever participated in it. Don't assume you know anything until you have spent the time to gather appropriate facts. Again, I say this, -AI-Gelo-Lowcais an uniformed child who is a complete idiot.

Let us heal AT-ST's for the sake of the war.


Remove the rediculously high damage a flamethrower can do to it. At least reduce it's potency.


DO NOT let CH deterimine how many TROOPS we can control just because they are pet handlers. Base numbers out on rank within your faction (for rebel freedom fighters also)


Continue to let commando's be a threat to our machines, but give them different weapons to handle it


Allow the troops and equipment we have earned through faction missions to protect us if we are aggroed

As a Rebel Commando I'll admit that the concept of a Flame Thrower doing so much damage to an AT-ST seems a little unrealistic. I could see Particle Cannons, or some other types of gun being a major threat.

That might be a thought for the Devs, maybe make these things less vulnerable to FTs and tweak the vulnerability toward Particle Cannons, Lightning Cannons, and Rocket Launchers so we’re still a threat, but not instant death. These are limited use weapons as well, so we couldn't just go around blowing AT-STs to bits infinitely.

In addition, it would pull us away from makeing the FT the Commando weapon of choice.
