I hope they make you dismount when entering all municipal zones. (or perhaps a new zone the perimeter of the "city core")

I can't believe you guys seem satisfied with only 6 animals! I think that is what will make things look weird, as everyone will be on the same freak'n animal.


I want to put a mount on the shoulder of my Giant Veermok, and rise 2 stories above everything! What about the Night Sisters? I haven't seen one yet, but in the book that comes with the Special Edition tells us that Night Sisters ride Rancors. HECK YEAH!!! I wanna climb to the top of my biggest creature, and look down on the world!! FUN!


I just hope that the mounts are at least as fast as a burst run, all the time. Or it will be pointless. I would prefer it to be faster than burst run.. then it becomes a benefit! Also, they will have to make all the creatures run at the same speed, or just like Cowardly Gurrecks and Mountain Krevels, everyone will just buy the fastest one, and we'll all be on the same animal again. Unless.... some animals that are slower, provide more protection to it's rider! That would put all the warriors on the back of a slow but powerful Graul, and the artisans on harvester runs, on the back of a super fast Cupa!


Final wish.... Looking down on the cities from the back of my Peko Peko Albatross.

Theres sposed to be a new themepark on Lok this patch too



Oh and Q yes, I've seen the movie and a few screenshots of mounts, will tailors be able to make the saddles, bridles etc? It would really give a well needed boost to tailors when it comes to sales.


Oh and thx.. the next few months look to be amazing for the game

DarthVaderect, mount armor isn’t scheduled for the release of mounts, that is more a in the future type thing. I’m sure it will be craftable, but it is really too early to say.




If it helps convince higher-up - you've already "released" five of the six. Bantha, Ronto and Dewback are on the Development page in the Mounts section. Kaadu is at the bottom of the same page. The IGN interview you guys did showed some concept art of a Krabhu with tack and barding. That's five - you actually only need to release one little, tiny, insignificant bit of info now

I notice that it says there is only one new profession, Politician. Does this mean you are putting all the Player City Buildings under Architect?

The In Development page mentions theme park badges/rewards adjustments. Are badges or rewards going to be retroactively awarded to those that have already completed certain theme parks? If they are not, then you are doing a major disservice to the early adopters of this game.


Minimized, we’re working on a method for all players to get the opportunity to get the new reward or badge. I’m not sure it will be a retroactive reward or an opportunity to do it again, but you likely won’t be gated from getting it.

I would have to disagree with this statement ... I agree that *special* moves should not be allowed in mounts that are *moving*. Heck .. I would be surprised if that is not already a "big" hit in accuracy ... and it probably scales with the type of weapn you use.


I would say that *maybe* a special move could be used if you mount was stopped ... for like 1 second ... but then again, I think you could probably get off your mount in that amount of time.


I don't this this "devalues" high level characters. Things like *speed* and *accuracy* are all things you gain with levels and won't lose ... But BH's will not be able to run by and spam eyeshots while on mounts ... and that is a *good* thing :-)

Looks like some good fixes, but I'm still heartbroken that this is another patch with zero carbine\carbineer fixes. /sigh

Just read Q's reply about putting the urban planner stuff into architect, that is a BIG mistake =(


Patch comes in, instantly tons and tons of "master urban planner in a sense". That's very bad and so disapointing. Cities are gonna take 30 minutes to build now and everybody will be done... city growth wont make it harder.


I guess I'll have to take a day off when the patch comes so my city isnt blocked because all the architects on the server decided to make a City Hall, fuun.... NOT.


Please change your decision..
