So how exactly do you go overt inside an enemy base?

You cant anymore, but for a while it was a problem. There were a group of players that had figured out how to do it. IF we had a two minute timer and added the ability for players to go overt without a recruiter, it would reintroduce the problem.

He did, but this idea of roving declarations needed to have the point underscored...

Heres an Idea to Fix GTEF:

Currently, anyone who attacks an Overt in your groupd gets a TEF against you.

Keep that, but add:

Anyone who is grouped with an Overt should have a TEF. IE group with Overt Reb, Overt Imp can shoot you for being seen with the enemy.

This way Overts can see how many people they are about to fight, and group members can still assist each other if they are attacked.

This seems to be the elegant answer we're looking for.

I would like the 25% bonus to Musical/Dancing Mind Enhancementbetween factioned playersto be fixed.

If the parties involved are covert, they should get a TEF and the 25% bonus.

If the parties are overt, they should get increased duration on the buff and the 25% bonus.

You all are crazy GTEF is a must, I doubt half of you remember revenge TEF or the run and hide house tactic. Grouping real quick to assist a friend from the IMP mob that always waits outside or coronet is fair, do you really think the 15-20:1 is fair?

One thing many are keeping in mind, is that a grouped member should be able to defend his other members, not just sit there and let them die, if you heal your ally, you get a tef, which then makes you attackable by overt opposite faction. If group TEF were removed as is, than there would be far more problems than currently, and I would assume this is why TH is attempting to find a way to eliminate the problems with this feature with a little more than simply removing group tef.

With that said, we have a few options and issuesconcerning this change:

-Add timer to group tef after cloning (5min until you may help your group).

-Allow grouped members to help whoever theyre grouped with, regardless of faction, as well as allowing them to be attacked by the enemies group, regardless of faction(there are spies among the ranks of both factions).

-CMs often get TEFed w/o noticing and against their will merely because they were trying to heal 20 entertainers but didnt know there was one overt around. Solution-- untargetted Overt/TEFedplayers will not get AE healed until the CM is already TEFed or is targetted by the CM.

-Currently rebel can rez a covert imp doc, this covert imp doc can rez overt imps. Solution-- Have reviving give a TEF regardless of covert/overt/factional player, however based on the status of the revived player so that doc gets aGTEF from the enemies group, and afactionalTEF allowing them to be attacked by the opposite faction of the revived player.

-In attempts to eliminate the typical Overt vs Overt+all grouped Coverts scenario, I would suggest first of all removing the ability for a group TEFed player to have first strike against the enemy, as only Overts should have that option, or possible adding a timer in which you must maintain your tef for a certain period of time before you can make a first strike. Perhaps making it so that players cannot GTEF someone who has not yet recieved a TEF from the opposite group.

For instance, Imperial X is grouped with overt Imperial Y, Rebel group with overt rebels can attack the TEFed Imperial X, but Imperial X cannot attack back until he has been engaged in combat by the other group, so basically its a consented GTEF by the enemy. With a clone TEF timer in place, such as not being able to help grouped/tefed players until a 5 minute timer is up.

This would eliminate the most hated scenario where said overt grouped player gets killed by a group of the opposite faction, whereafter covert CM comes and area poison/disease the entire group w/o even being able to attack this CM before getting in range and its too late.

The clone timer must be applied in order to prevent groups of pvpers to keep fighting merely by having one person get killed, and the rest of the group gets TEF on enemy targets, allowing a group of now all covert players to continue fighting for as long as they please while they rebuff etc in front of your local cloner as long as this single person keeps running out and getting tef for the whole group over and over.

I believe that covers most of the TEF problems, that is all.

I love the idea of grouping with overts gives you a TEF automatically! That is a perfect solution.

170 per tick is more then enough to do its job max caped now thats common sence

you are obviously a moron. this is a talk about gtef not your personal opinion on cms which are perfectly balanced. and btw it is spelled sense not sence.

it is simple if you want to PVP you should be overt. there shouldnt be a "TEF".

i dont seehowit matters if you type /overt and its right away or 50 minutes later it is still a surprise to the other side.

Here's a thought.....

How about you actually get some hardware capable of handling the large amount of players on Eclipse to allow things to actually spawn???

There is no reason in the world that I should have to change my play time to be late late late at night eastern time to actually see spawns, or get a night job to where I can play during the day when others are at work.

Two nights ago, I drove with occasional stops on Dathomir over 7km to only see ONE SINGLE Brackaset Male, this is ridiculous!!!! I've reported this about 4 times to the CSR's only to be told to hunt closer to the cities! WTH! Why should I have to fight Nuna's or Gorg's for fun, (which I cant call that fun at any level)???

CSR's have come out to the wild and have actually done areatracking, and not found ONE SINGLE mob in range. Then they tell me that they will report it. Well months of THEIR reporting have passed, and you know what, the problem still is there!

My account is expiring on July 27th, and if you cant make it where I can go out and actually kill things for fun since there is really nothing else to do, I will not be renewing my account.

I've done the themeparks on both sides

Have completed all non-circular NPC quests on ALL planets (with the exception of some of the badge quests i.e. hermit, altruism, etc.)

Did all the quests for Padme's sister

Did the Nightsister Quests

Did the SMC quests

Did all the imperial prison quests

Jabba

Valarians

Killed many many many A'aukuans and Nyax, and all the other various encampments

DWB

Corellian Corvette factioned and non-factioned

Opened my FS

Mastered practically every profession in the game

Killed at least one of every MOB in the game

Particpated in the destruction of at least 20 player faction bases in various roles, SL, Smuggler, Commando, etc.

Performed a ton of regular PVP play.

I've particpated in player hosted events, and have held a few of my own.

I've participated in Role Playing Events.

Basically there is nothing left......

The past 3 months, its been really hard to just go out and kill stuff. I'm not into doing missions, because those stupid lairs only spawn 5-6 creatures, and they usually get blown up before I get to them, and I shoulnt have to rely on missions, I thought this game was supposed to emulate a world, well the world on Eclipse is pretty vacant and will lose another soul soon.
