Problem: If you surrender a novice class, then go to a trainer and get trained in it again, the droid comes back and wants you to do the missions all over again, even though you can now no longer get any reward for doing them. Furthermore, the droid returns even if you had destroyed it.

Solution: Once you have done the quests fora given class, this should go into the data base and the droid should not offer the quests again. Additionally, if you destroy your droid, it should not return no matter what you do.

Someone else suggested that the droid be given out WHILE THE CHARACTER IS ON THE SPACE STATION. This is (in my opinion) an excellent idea. I would go further and say that the droid should ONLY be given out while on the space station. This will make it a viable and useful tool for new players without having it annoy veteran players.

Go into you're datapad and just delete droid. Problem solved.

Do actually try that and you will find the just comes back from it's grave to annoy you again. I gave up after deleting the damn thing for the tenth time.

Nice, love the addons. The droids and new places to start, nice.

You may know me as Amoibi Kynigos, you may know me as Scyther, and you may know me as the 3rd person to make it into the game. But no matter if you know me, you know me now.

I tried various starter quests and artisan is by far the one that takes longest. Just wanted to point that out. Maybe crafting 3 rifles instead of 5 would be better?

I tried the New User thing about a week ago on Bria, where I wanted to make another alt. I had no idea this had been implemented, so it was quite a pleasant surprise. The R2 unit following you around with help, and mini-missions seemed like an excellent idea for an extended tutorial. On top of that, the ability to pick and choose weapons besides the CDEF pistol and the survival knife were also nice. The best thing, compared to my own first time as a n00b, was that it was much easier to get started with the cash payouts from the missions. In addition, it was also nice that the R2 missions got you through the first skill box at least. By the time you're done, you have a small amount of cash, an appropriate starter weapon, and even skills to actually start running low level missions instead of blindly shooting beasts around the city or not having a clue where to start next.

I tried the Medic, Scout, Marksman, and Brawler missions. The missions were all pretty helpful in getting to know your class, and I even picked up a couple things that I didn't know even after playing all this time. My own concern would be for the Scout tree, you might add a trapping mission component to it.

And, as mentioned earlier, the ship used in the tutorial definitely is cool. In fact, it's what immediately made me think the game was awesom, and then slightly disappointed me when I realized there weren't other areas like that in game. Hopefully we'll see a lot more like that in JTL.

Okay. It's not so bad this time.

I'm not a new user, but this droid popped up on my alt account when I made a character. It would have been helpful if I didn't know what I was doing, but I did so I tried to tell the droid to go away and I'd just do my own thing but he kept coming back. I tried to delete the droid and he kept coming back. I couldn't get rid of it for goodno matter what I did, so to me as an experienced player it turned out to beextremely annoying. There should be an option to turn off the droid or deleting it should make it go away for good unless the player goes and talks to a special npc to get a new one or something.

IMO the option to turn off that damn droid needs to be implaced..those of us that have been around a bit and change proffesions regularyly(i get bored) find those little things annoying as all hell...please add an option to turn em off...wont effect new players, cause they wont know HOW to turn it off, and make the veterans happy....my 2c
