Lately I have seen people camping "Loose Debris" "Mag Seal Containers" and the like in the static caves and bunkers. Some of these, The Borgle Bat cave inparticular, are known to spawn valuable loot such as skill tapes. The Borgle Bat cave in particular has a regular schedule, an even 30 minutes, and non-agressive mobs at its lower levels. Instead of getting harder as you go down, it actually gets easier because of the non-aggro mobs. Given this, players have been camping near the debris and using timers to always anticipate the drop of the loot.


Making this dangerous by converting the mobs near the end of the cave to aggro, or making this even hard to predict, by randomizing the spawn and mixing in other items would stop this behaviour.


I know this is a small issue, but this is an open forum, and the CSR's I talked with pointed me to the forums to publicise this issue.


I am sure there are other priorities, but please put this on the list. Thanks.

I'd like to see some sort of info/documentationfor the new BE system.


Anything at all really.


The interface give no clue as to what does what and gives even less information than other crafting professions get, and while players have worked out how to get AR1 fairly reliably and the relationship between H/A/M and P/P/M is known about, everything else seems random and frustrating (CL, Special Attack's and evenRanged candrop out for, seemingly,no good reason).


While some very fun and interesting things can be made with the system, it is no where near as controlable as we were lead to believe it would be.


Seriously, would YOU accept this as the only documentation for a new system??:



  • New Cloning System implemented (Creature level is now fully dependent on final creature stats. Stats are fully dependent on level of DNA samples used. Gnort DNA will create Gnort-like creatures, Rancor DNA-will create Rancor-like creatures, etc.).

fix BH droids to be able to track jedi to some extent at least. I agree with some that jedi missions should not contain the name of the jedi, andjust thegeneral location. also fix the problem of jedi being able to log off and lose their tef.droid tracking times have already been mentioned ...


also.. i have read this before, and adding the the guys comment.. don't you devs realize that the same people who cried and whined about BH's being too powerful (resulting in our castration) are the same tkm's, fencers, and other combat templates that are now overly powerful?a melee class that can hit from 20+ meters away? how is that fair?.. ranged and melee attacksin one profession? for oGd's sake, give BH's back some skills (offensive/defensive) and show us that a profession that requires 2 masters to attain is actually worth something. also a fix on carbine HAM usage would be nice, and possibly an increased range for llc specials.. 20-30 meters or so

Here's my ongoing bug list:


Waypoint names disappear from the datapad when you activate them


Options doesn't remember the setting of the 'show detail objects' check box.


Options doesn't remember my last selected language.


Data pad doesn't remember the setting of the 'only show waypoints for current planet' button


Bank tips to you from players far away generate a mail message that says the species, not the player name, that tipped you


Wanderer still listed in character bio even after declaring residence


Harvestors do not animate


I crash to desktop a lot for no apparent reason.


Most containers in the caves are bugged. You can open them (sometimes) but you can't take anything out (Access not permitted to this container), or they're "locked" but can't be sliced.


Skill plates with more than one modification, when added to armor or clothes, only add one of the enhancements.


The 45th POI location badge doesn't work (soldier cave on Talus).

A lot of good ideas, but I want to talk about the visuals for a minute:

*When I call my speeder can it appear next to me instead of on top of me?
*Can we extend the skeletons of all the creatures? I hate it when my spats' head disappears into a wall.
*Can we have some sort of collision? I hate standing inside my Dewback and looking out through his face. The back of the eyeballs are just creepy. Plus, I should be able to run into tables and chairs in a permanent location.
*When running in and out of the starport I notice some people disappear behind an invisible wall. They usually reappear right away, but what's up with that?
*Can I please stop falling out of my chair?
*Can we extend the radius for drawing buildings and the landscape? I have my settings maxed out and houses still "pop-up" out of nowhere. Between this, the Twilight Zone rooms and the no collision, it really makes me feel like we're living in a ghost world.

GCW:
*Take all the hermits and similar NPCs and make them Stormtroopers. Instant GCW.

Wookies:
*Please beef up the wookies so they don't have to wear clothing. I don't remember Chewie wearing anything but his bandoleer.

Other:
*Can we please fight while on our speeders? I seem to remember them shooting during the Speeder Bike chase in ROTJ.
*Please, please, please make this feel more like Star Wars. Today I grouped with a guy dressed in bone armor and armed with a sword. We made a camp out of hide and bones. Then he called out a dinosaur and we headed off to fight monsters. For a minute I thought, wow, it's just like EQ in space.

Looking forward to a better game.

another vote for more rare loot!


i'd also like to see the drops rotate from cave to cave, week to week, day to day, whatever. mainly so people don't have to always camp the same places. make it payoff to roam around and explore.


i particularly like skill enhancing loot. give us some more of that please. and more cool quests like the zicx bug bomb, and polished krayt skull. keep up the good work, just give us more.

1. Could the hero of Tantooine series of quests please be fixed?


2. Could the Aqualish Cave badge please be fixed?


3. Could the Gungan Sacred Place quests be fixed?


These are little things in the big scheme of things, but for those of us who like to do them, they mean a lot.

My top issues:


1. bounty hunter droids in investigation 4 are slower than investigation 3...plus the jedi bounties can't be tracked


2. carbine HAM costs are astronomical


3. put hexa-code back in crafting items


4. ability to move items up and down in a house


5. warping when getting off a vehicle

If it were simply Jedi vs BH, that would be a fair fight. But you guys can bring along tag team friends to group TEF off the jedi. 1 BH vs an unsuspecting jedi is a legit fight. 1 BH with 5 - 10 friends vs an unsuspecting jedi is most definitely not.


Until they come up with a way to restrict the BH and the BH alone to the mark, I HOPE they dont push this fix through. If they do, I'm done with my jedi until they decide to address the broken class.





Easy fix, make it so the jedi's hunting party can all attack the BH's hunting group.

Every Jedi bounty I've collected on has had at least one person heal them from incap. The last time I had to get the db in while getting last ditched spam by three groupies. Make it one on one and this MBH will be a very happy camper.


As for the weekly discussion, Jedi bounties need to be functional now. The Jedi population on Ahazi is getting pretty much out of hand, and the "organic" system of Jedi population control needs to be functional. I'm not even tuned into the large guilds on the server, yet I can name at least a dozen Jedi off of the top of my head. I'd say it's safe to assume that there are at least three to four times that number of Jedi total on Ahazi.
